As someone who worked logistics for the USAF for 11 years, this software is AMAZING at this price point!! *This truly makes the supply troop in me jump for joy! Lol.* I just found out about it last week & am using it for my clothing brand on WIX. It syncs my inventory, pulls items, builds items, & accounts for my materials used. I haven't found anything else like it that is both affordable & integrates with WIX.

Thank you for this tip. I was worried it would just be in $ but it has loads of different currencies and they have £. I had already made an inventory of what I have but I will definitely be using Inventora instead of an Excel spreadsheet and I am so glad I watched this before making a start on it. I am watching loads of candle making tips, advice & small business CZcams videos and going through all of yours to try and learn what to do and what not to do before I even start trying to make a candle. I was already going to give my candles to people to try them out before I even consider selling and your advice has reinforced this. Thanks again. Xxx

What a neat little piece of software. I currently use a system I pay for monthly and it doesn't seem as efficient as this! Thank you, I will have to check it out! I hope it will work with soaping supplies? I don't see why it wouldn't, as it is mostly oils in gallon jugs. Your always so thoughtful in sharing what you use. That's very refreshing, as most creators hide all their tricks, lol!

Hey, I have a question about wicks. So I've been playing around with wicks for a few days now but there is something that I don't understand like if you lower the wick is the flame going to be stronger or if I use a bigger or thicker wick is the flame going to be weaker? So this recently happened to me, I have this 8oz jar with a diameter of 2.75" and I mistakenly used a thicker wick that had for a 3.75" jar but when I burned it for 3 hours it did not reach the full melt pool it actually left wax on the sides so I'm wondering how is that if the wick is stronger I guess. I have no idea. It's so cofusing.

Yes I definitely will! I’m actually in the middle of switching over to Quickbooks online from Quickbooks self employed so once I get everything set I’ll do a video on it! ❤️

At the beginning of the video you mention doing one that can keep track how much value it is at end of year can you list 3 that work? And does inventoria do that?
So when I was editing the video I realized that I said it wrong kind of lol. I meant more that you need to keep track of how much inventory is leftover at the end of the year so that you can put a value on it. However I’m actually going to let Dianna know that it would be cool to have the ability for the software to add up the total value and give you a dollar amount! Otherwise I would just manually go though and do some multiplication to get the total number :)

Oh yes I’m thinking you can add whatever ingredients and products that you make!
The only thing keeping me from using Inventora is the static cost feature... Supplies are NOT always the same cost per unit! Buuuut it may still be worth the extra tax-time calculation for the other benefits it offers (for free, versus CraftyBase at $19 a month).
Off topic, but when making large batches in bulk, what do you use for your dark containers to mark the stopping point? I have some new black jars and realized my clear jar method isn't going to work
I use a folded up piece of aluminum foil as a marker :)

How to calculate packing tape costs, and other packing costs and packing inventory on hand? Or is it added as expenses = loss.
I personally add these costs in as just an overall business expense!
I know this has nothing to do with candles, but do you think this could work for skincare products as well?

Hi, is the cost for the fragrance oil the total cost of the oil when you purchase it or is the cost when you make a candle?
It’s the total cost when you purchase it, I just do some division to find out how much it’s costs me per ounce for that specific FO :)
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo I just logged into the website and started entering in my product and created the material. it actually made sooo much sense now! when we create the material we can change it to the grams and the amount we use, it seems to change the cost for what we use per candle. i hope that makes sense.

How much time do you dedicate per week to tracking inventory?
Oh not much! I just add in supplies when I get shipments in, add in candles ive made when I make them, and then I will go in and do a manual inventory check every two weeks or so but that’s about it!

@@sunitajsd The starter plan does offer the connection with Shopify so if that’s what you’re needing, that should be just fine!

While the customer service is great absolutely horrendous when it comes to importing csv files. I stopped using it.
I know this is a stupid question but math is my enemy...how do I calculate the price per milliliter/ounce? tia to anyone who can help me with this
Not a stupid question at all!
It’s just some division. So if you purchase a 16 oz bottle at $23 you would just do 23 divided by 16
23/16 = 1.4375
So it costs about $1.44 per ounce :)
