What does it mean?
Даня Таргарян the lyrics basically go along the lines of, “don’t force yourself on me” and like “hug now, kiss later” those were the ones that really stood out to me

Yeojin has actually a really deep speaking voice... I have to say I would like to hear her sing kinda lower if that makes sense just so she can showcase that element as well. But nonetheless, she is a cutie with an amazing personality!

I'm sad you didn't say anything about the lyrics, they're extremely unusual for a cute song like this one and it's even more important that it's sang by such a young girl. Still, loved the reaction and I agree with everything you said, this song is in my top 3 loona solos (lcm and egoist are the other two) and top 5 loona songs of all time (sonatine bitches, sonatine, and loonatic)

He's Korean so he doesn't need subs, idk maybe he just didn't focus on listening to the lyrics, that can happen sometimes

finally some appreciation for this song. I definitely feel like this is the 2nd best solo song loona released. I understand it's overly cutesy for some tastes, but if you really listen to it, you can not deny the amazing musicality of the song.
H LK i actually think most musically inclined people love this song. Umu also love this song. It has a very interesting chord progression and not repetetive rythm compared to other cutesy songs.
Jeannie Sakaguchi are you referring to Umu from reacttothek? i like that channel too. I got a lot of slack for loving this song from most of my friends who totally dismissed this song because they thought it was just too over the top cutesy/kid like.

YeoJin is the maknae of the group and shes pretty young compared to many of the other members so i get why this song and MV are the way they are... shes just a little baby :D

Yeojin was born in November 2002 so she was 14 when this came out. So young but so talented. I love how her song is age appropriate and with great lyrics.
Most LOONA songs are very orchestral, something which is already evident so far in the journey and only ramps up as you go through the catalogue. Some really good songwriters working for / with the company.
This is one of the more enjoyable cutesie pop songs - with a fun, relatively interesting and yet understandable music video.
I disagree about it ramping up through the catalogue. I think their orchestral influences were most prominent in the beginning and then the other sub units, the debut and later solos had a much more electronic influence. I have a worry that they may not use symphonic instruments and write songs like they used to in the future given by the very poppy and safe songs on their debut but I still have high hopes for them!
I agree that Kiss Later is probably the most musically interesting LOONA song... if this makes any sense?? I wish there was an instrumental version too, I'd listen to that all day. Yeojin is the youngest so I get why they gave her a song and video like this, like you, I don't really like "cutesy" concepts but LOONA actually made me love them... They always know how to switch it up in an interesting way. Yeojin is a good singer, specially considering her age (her voice is actually pretty deep and I'd love to her more of that tone in the future), but yes, she still has a lot of room for improvement! The music video matches her personality so well, they really know how to pick the animals, they all match the girls' personality in one way or another lmao
Imo for cute songs or ballads or you have super powerful voices or you have an instrumental that carry the song for you. Most of them sound generic and "the same" because none of both happen.
I was wondering how did he manage to keep a straight face or reaaally small grin through the video, but then he cracked and smiled some times. This video is so cute and funny that it's hard not to smile xD

I think you're the only reaction I've seen thats so accurately placed the difference of 1/3 to the other groups. It is very.. Disney.. but not as cliche. Its like instead of giving the full "Im the perfect princess" its like we are meeting the princesses during their struggles before the disney magic kicks in.
But the comparison to Disney is so beyond accurate!

Guys, if you go to the about section of the channel, it says they would appreciate if you don't use he/him pronouns, the descriptions use 'they' so that's probably best, though it doesn't specify anything other than not to use 'male pronouns'
This has to be one of my favorite Loona MVs because Yeojin is so smol and cute. The production of the Mv is amazing and I love the colours. Also the lyrics are so cute and meaningful as well 😄
My friends dislike this music but I think this is awesome! I don't like anything cute and full of aegyo as well but I give this song a lot of praise... I love the message the lyrics gives us.. also she is the maknae so it suits her image so well. People should wake up to this music more.. it was clearly made for the younger public and really well done executed. One of the most solid solo songs on LOONA in my opinion.

You have to understand that each member has an animal that represents them. In some of the members videos it's very subtle and you may not notice, but in this case YeoJin's animal is quite blatantly a frog lol

This song is one big theory, plus she's 15 and didn't go into a subunit but went to school instead. They put a lot of effort into a minimal concept still, they probably didn't spend that much money on it. It's still cute.

Actually every member has a colour and animal, but every unit has also a special thing! 1/3 has locations, OEC has powers, and yyxy fruits!
If you notice 1/3 videos are super colorful in general with tons of scenes with their animals, OEC are heavily focused on each girl color and besides Jinsoul they only have a glimpse of their animals and yyxy have videos with less saturated colors, their animals barely show up and their fruits are the main focus.

the little frogs actually appeared three different times in the mv singing along as background vocals, only that they're focused just once. this song easily gets top 3 spot in my list out of all Loona's solos. the wtf-ness of the mv complements it well too, making the kind of concept i usually find unbearable actually enjoyable, and that's not an easy feat. though i'm side eyeing how they start the vid with a kid having a scene on the bed wearing short dress, hmm...nevertheless, i still enjoy this mv aside of the eyebrow raising element, and i really enjoyed the song too. she might not show much vocal prowess here, but there are worse ones so..
