the way you analyze these MV's is really amazing btw, I watched eclipse many times but never hit me that having so many dance close-up's was unique until you pointed it out. then you connect that to bbc wanting the viewers to focus on the member, which is spot on.

I didn't even realize how simple this music video was until you pointed it out. The use of editing is so effective!
I remember when this song came out and I was absolutely shocked. The previous songs have all been similar to some degree, very Disney-esque, somewhat cute, either very cheerful or full on balad. And starting with Kim Lip, they just changed the entire style and you can really feel that it's the start of something 'new' and very different. Same thing happens a bit later, once they introduce the first member of the last subunit - and I adore what they're doing here. I'm just curious what they're gonna be like all together, because their personal songs, as well as the subunit songs, just cover so many different styles and genres.

for anyone else who is forever devoted to eclipse, Fei's "Fantasy" also comes pretty close with the style! Very similar feel to it, definitely worth a listen if ur a fan searching for more of this style

This was my top video of 2017. Everything about it is done so well and fits perfectly -- the song, the chereo, the costumes, the location, the sets, the staging, the hidden bits with the moon and the owl...but the editing is MASTERFUL. There are so many complicated moving shots in here, but it's never too much or muddled. I never get tired of watching it.

Honestly, I liked the editing in Singing in the Rain better, but I recently watched closely and realised the camera is constantly shaking whith is very distracting.

Patiently waiting for LCM since it's my fave OEC song. But yeah this is when Loona got a lot of attention, with this MV. The style they are going for specially in OEC MVs is just gorgeous. It's kina minimalistic but not boring and simple.

Singing in the rain is like my favorite song and ofc jinsoul being my bias but i love the Eclipse M/V :)
I'm really glad Eclipse exists so many new fans started to stan Loona. Eclipse is still one of my favourite Loona solos I had goosebumps the first time I listened to it because it's a style of music I haven't heard much people do in Kpop. I really hope PD listens to Twilight and all the other OEC b side tracks. Loona is the only girl group where I like almost all solos and b side tracks. I thought no one can top Red Velvet b sides but then Loona came.

starting from kimlip, they no longer have MVs for their B-sides. I hope you check out all of the b-sides from the next solos and subunit albums because they are freaking dope. some are better than the title songs themselves huhu

This vid is 100% on it! FINALLY SOMEONE APPRECIATES THE RING! Honestly it's one of the most gorgeous things in the vid. Her eyes prob hurt like hell afterwards though lol
It was the Kim Lip that really put Loona on the map - it seemed like Loona was going to be the usual K-pop aegyo stuff, then they showed a WHOLE NOTHER SIDE. After came JinSoul - BBC knew what they were doing and I'm not mad. I would've never knew who Loona was if it weren't for Kim Lip.

Fun Fact for anyone here: Eclipse got NASA's attention during the last solar eclipse. In a playlist made by NASA interns, the song was the second one listed. They may not have actually listened to it, because most of the other songs just included the word eclipse, but it was amazing nonetheless. LOONA's official twitter even tweeted about it.
