In Texas, the Gulf of Mexico is so polluted that if you even go in the water (swim in it) coming out you have a 99% chance of having an infection. Because of the oil spills and the dead spot. The 2004 spill is still dumping 300 to 700 gallons of oil to this day. We don’t eat from the Gulf but most people can’t afford from anywhere else. I envy you to be able to forage and recently I foraged for the first time at a California beach. Love the vids! Keep up the good work.

That concrete thing looks like a leg off a bench,you would have 3 of those and they would be fastened together with lengths of hardwood,used to see em all over the coast next to the railings as a kid in the north east😁👍 the flat bit is the bottom,the curved bit is where the seat was😁
I really like the little urban foraging. always interesting to see! love seeing how the critters that learn to make homes in places that we've taken over.

Shame about all the human made detritis in the harbour area, hopefully the Islands enviromental officer will see how you highlighted this and maybe act on it and maybe arrange a local action group etc. Great vid again Jay and stay safe all.

Great content Jay. When we were allowed to travel we use to go to a different cornish fishing port every weekend. I love walking around fishing harbours and fish markets to see all the different thing.
Good video and interesting its amazing what you come across, I do like how you give out the health and safety aspect of what you would and would not do, keep safe, I would like to see more of these videos as it shows how you do your research and pick out markers and it’s also interesting to see more of the coast line without the tides
