  • The K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake is specially designed to provide more power to its application. It features mandrel-bent aluminum pipes and performance air filter that is designed to provide less restrictive airflow than stock. This increased airflow provides a significant boost to your Dodge Challenger's engine’s performance.
    The K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake is designed to work with the factory tune and doesn’t require any custom tune. However, installing custom tunes is still recommended to ensure optimum performance to the specific setup.
    The Blackhawk utilizes a black, high-flow dry filter that is far more effective than the factory filter. Additionally, it’s reusable and can be used for 100,000 times prior to cleaning.
    The Blackhawk is constructed of welded aluminum to provide excellent toughness and durability. The heat shield and pipe comes with a black powder-coat finish to protect against the elements and corrosion.
    Installing the Blackhawk can be done with common garage tools. It can be installed in approximately 2 hours.
    The Blackhawk Cold Air Intake is covered by K&N’s outstanding 10-year or 1,000,000-mile warranty. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. Exclusions will apply.

    I have a 2019 challenger scat pack with heat extractors. Will rain make its way through the heat extractor and flood the filter?

    Won't this make the ambient temp higher since the stock air intake pulls air out from underneath the car?

      If you sit in 90+ weather your gauge will be all the way to right😅🤫 Not for people that sit in traffic all day

    I just read there's a "silencer" on the air intake of challengers. I have a 19 scat pack. Does that have one? I didn't really see one on the stock hose to the throttle body you removed. I was hoping a K&N would remove this "silencer". Now I'm wondering if its further back. Haven't actually seen a photo of what it looks like.
    Nm. Think i found it. Under the Airbox. So in that case this will totally bypass it :)

    How much Hp do you think you gain from this air take?

    • @AmericanMuscleDodge
      @AmericanMuscleDodge  Před 5 lety +5

      Without a tune, you can expect to see an increase of single digit horsepower around 5-10 along with increased throttle response. You can definitely expect to see a larger gain with a tune. -Zach
