  • You paid for 6 gears why not use them all! The Skip Shift function found in all 6-speed Challengers will force the driver to shift from first to fourth gear in an effort to save fuel. This is fine, but I doubt you bought a 6-speed V8 Challenger with fuel efficiency in mind. The SR Performance Skip Shift Eliminator will do exactly what it says, it will deactivate the factory Skip Shift function so you can bang through all 6 gears with an evil grin on your face.
This SR Performance Skip Shift Eliminator features factory style connectors making it a simple plug and play installation with absolutely no cutting or splicing required. Detailed installation instructions are included.
This SR Performance Skip Shift Eliminator is designed for use on 2008-2019 Dodge Challengers equipped with the 6-Speed manual transmission. Intended for off-road use. muscle.am/2kryJL9

Great video. Using ramps and still in and out in under two minutes. Screwdriver tip is extremely helpful.

Its a solenoid that gets power by the ECU its engaged at 19mph and disengaged at 21 mph pretty (much second gear ) disconnecting and capping it does the same thing as buying a NO contact wire - can also be disabled with a tuner.

If you read the manual on page 113, 6-speed manual transmission is already equipped with 1-4 skip shift feature. This occurs when coolant is higher than 106F AND the vehicle speed is greater than 19 mph but less than 21 mph.

Mine was as well. Luckily I had the transmission mount cross member off, transmission supported, doing a transmission fluid change. That made it much much easier.

Hi I took one of these eliminators and dissected it and came to find that the wires are actually soldered to each end as normal so how is this going to change the situation if all you're doing is reconnecting the wires when you clip them in. Please somebody answer this question for me. Basically, you just extended the wire from what I see and reconnected it to the transmission. Again please somebody answer this question for me, how is that going to stop the transmission signal???

TIP: My solenoid release was facing upward, making it nearly impossible. Luckily I had the transmission mount cross member off, transmission supported, doing a transmission fluid change. That made it much much easier to access. So if you are planning this, factor it into a fluid change and remove the cross member with the transmission supported.
