    Thanks for the video, liked and subbed. I have a 2015 4Runner Limited. The grill is very similar to yours with the Toyota Rings emblem in the middle. I would have to install these on the lower row where you did judging by the shape of the triangular lights. The row right above where you put yours has more rounded left and right end shapes of the honeycombs and do not look like they would fit. I would get the amber if they offered a blacked out (smoked) version, but looks like blacked out is only offered in white LED. Did you consider installing a push off/on switch in your dash for if you wanted to have the raptor lights off while you are driving? I am considering that. Thanks!

    Connecting to fuse box if you want them on only when your tail lights, or side marker lights are on.
    Run the wire through the firewall. Theres a small rubber plug on the upper right driver side. Wrap the wires in electrical tape, push through the firewall. Fish them out above the parking brake, use the 10amp tail fuse. Follow the same process as engine compartment connection. I used a razor knife to cut out a small pattern to fit the piggyback back to allow the cover to be put back. Use the small bolt at the bottom to attach your ground. Literally took me 15 minutes including the disconnect from the engine comp. Fuse box.

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  Před rokem +1

      They way I wired them in this video has them on 100% of the time, they turn on when the ignition is on. Day and night. Even before the engine is running, as soon as you turn the key it has them on.

      I just made a little tiny notch in the plastic to allow the wire to lay a little bit flatter. Nothing big to let moisture in but something to just let the wire not be so pinched

    Just now seeing this video and trying to determine if my 4Runner, 2022 Limited, which has a grill and front same as this one in the video with the exception of the radar unit just under the Toyota emblem. As a new owner of 4Runner, I am trying to learn the different styles in the grills and what a TRD PRO looks like and what would one call my grill which seems to be very similar. I would install the raptors just as you are doing/did. The box for the lights says 2014 - 2019 so I wonder if anyone is reporting installation on a 22 Limited? And, what was the outcome of those installations? Thanks for a reply is you can.

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  Před rokem

      My 4Runner is the mid/base level as far as exterior upgrades. It’s an SR5 4x4. It has everything before you jump up to the limited or pro models which start to have different grills and trims. If you grill is looking to be the same as mine then I’d put money on it that it will work. I don’t believe they made these diamonds shaped grills in different years different sizes. I think it either an SR5 grill or a PRO upgraded grill style. So I’d said you could probably install these raptor lights where I have them. And worst case you can return them full refund no questions asked with getting them through Amazon. That’s why I love getting stuff on Amazon when possible. No buyers remorse.
