Nice suit and great review. At times it was a little hard to hear you because of the background noise and wind, but I still enjoyed it. One thing's for sure though, you never fail to put a small on my face. You're infectious and addictive. Thanks JoJo 🙂

Held makes great stuff. I use two versions of their dual layer gloves (warm and Goretex on one layer, and less insulated (ventilated on the light ones) in the other layer for better feel of the hand controls.) Thanks for sharing your outtakes!

I use the same clothing from Held. It is much warmer if you wear the gortex outside!! The gortex is made for wearing it inside and outside. And you can pull over the gortex on demand!
I must try it! With it on the inside, I wasn't warm at all. Had to really layer up. Thanks for the advice :)
Just used a Held jacket for my 1000 mile return journey to the NW200, amazing quality and design.
Didn't bother with trousers used proper bike jeans and weather proof trousers as needed for comfort, suspect these comments may be lost to the majority.
Also made a saving from buying direct from Germany for those that do.

Just been having a look at RSTs Adventure suit for females, and it has the same spec as the mens suit.it also has a removeable waterproof and thermal liner in it as well. Just a thought if looking for a textile suit

Hi Joanna, I am looking to buy this suit for my wife but I am struggling to find the pants to match? Can you please confirm the exact name of the Held trousers that you are wearing here so I can hopefully find them. You are so right about all women's gear being covered in pink. My wife rides like you and hates how the motorcycle clothing range is so limited for women.

I believe both the jacket and the trousers were called Carese. That being said I’m not sure you’ll be able to find the trousers anywhere as I got these a looooong time ago. I’m very happy to check what’s the new equivalent of them, if that helps? X

Jo, what did you mean by wearing leather in the summer can be dangerous are you talking one piece leathers? I wear a Vanson jacket and Kushitani pants all leather and now and again leave the cool mtns and head down to the flat lands where it's over 90 degrees in the summer. I do drink a lot before I go but I've never thought I was in danger wearing full leathers but I could be and not know it?
Leathers are the safest thing to wear, unless you're too hot in them (or too cold). And by hot I mean so hot that it feels like you're cooking in them. That's when your focus is seriously affected and that's the only reason breathable textile suit is better option in boiling hot conditions.
An interesting angle. For the road (in the Uk at least) I can tel you from many motorbike accidents, some serious and worse that if you are in leathers you travel much further and run risks of colliding with road furniture such as kerbs, signs, posts, trees etc. Textiles (especially good ones like Rukka) have grab material to slow you down and reduce travel time on the deck.....

Count Miffed Good lighting! Just the fact that it looks white to you proves it, as it's actually grey.. Decent daylight made it look so light (and clean..)

You should take a look at revít ! they make some great suits for ladies. Would be nice to pick a better location next time as well, wind and racing bikes in the background arent the best for a review

I haven't been very well past couple of months and lost a bit of weight. But I was on the chubby side to start with, so it's all good ;)
