What I hate is when people shame others for wanting to look a certain way. Like yes obviously health and the way you feel matters but if I want to look and be smaller that’s my choice, if I want to be bigger, that’s my choice. I feel like people get so mad when their main focus isn’t about how they feel but how they look, like to each their ownnnn damn🤷🏻♀️
This!! I’ve literally had people try to talk me out of wanting to lose weight and it’s so weird because it’s not even their body 😂 they like want to force you to love yourself as you are. They usually come from a good place but geez, I just wanna get slimmer lol
COMPLETELY agree!!!!! That’s why I always try to say like how you feel is so important but there’s NOTHING wrong with wanting to look a certain way. Truly believe that. I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t believe that because that was part of my motivation too lol
Seriously! Nothing wrong with that. The only problem is if it would be causing you to do damaging things but it doesn’t sound like it. That being motivation is 1000% appropriate
What you said about making more progress when you stop trying so hard is so true!!!! I’ve been trying for months to lose weight and the harder I try, the less realistic and sustainable it is for me. I simplified my workout routine, started eating more fruit and veggies, drinking more water, and I’ve already lost 4 pounds in almost 3 weeks. It barely feels like I’m trying which is so nice.

Speaking for myself, I've had goals to pick up healthy habits and change my body that ended up becoming somewhat obsessive and an unhealthy mental/emotional journey. So having grace for myself has been such a huge help in keeping my motivation and finding balance.

I so need to hype myself up more. This week I only lost 200 grams and I was disappointed to say the least. But I lost something! So I need to be not as hard on myself.

I started the 12-3-30 about a year ago, and in the last 4 months increased to 15-3-30-40 mins and I’ve seen amazing results. It really is a good warmup/workout if you stick to it of course. Love all your videos Morgan ❤

Finding your channel right now is good timing I’ve been really working on my self especially my body lately and so far your videos have been really cool and I like your perspective and your energy.I also stopped checking my weight because I figured I’ll physically notice my progress eventually and if I I feel good then I’m already on the right track…awesome advice btw 👍

It’s soooooo easy to get obsessive. Like I’ll say I’m not weighing myself but once a month…and then a week later. I’m glad I’m not doing it every day…but still. I’ll know I lost when them clothes fit differently! 💁🏽♀️

Hi Morgan, great Vid! Could you do a video of you walking on the treadmill at 4 miles per hour with your arms crossed in front of you, for about 2 miles? I think that would be great! I always walk with my arms crossed when I am on the treadmill. I never see very many people doing that for some reason. Is that normal, or do you think I am kind of weird? I realize you can keep your balance a lot easier with your arms hanging down to your sides or bent though. I just feel more comfortable with crossing my arms. I am 62 years old and normally walk at 4.3 miles per hour for 3 miles with my arms crossed.
When you were working on changing your lifestyle did you ever have well meaning friends that were just really pushing this do more behavior on you? I feel like this happens to me often and it’s different people at different times but it’s like when will I learn I need to just stay in my lane and do what 1. Works best for me and 2. What I like doing. I feel like I’ll do good for a while and then I push too hard and totally hurt myself or get frustrated and give up.
