That shampoo actually makes my hair feel super moisturized and hydrated like i just used a conditioner, i can even detangle with it!
I LOVE Shea Moisture's Shea Butter Line. I think I have finally found the products I will be able to stick with. The shampoo is great! It leaves my hair feeling CLEAN but not stripped. The conditioner did great as well. I put it in and rinsed it out and used the restorative mask as a leave in the first time I used it. The second time I washed I used the conditioner and I think I like it better as a leave in. Great review and your hair is beautiful!
Thanks 4 review, I recently transition-chopped in Oct and I think some naturals just assume that EVERYONE is familiar with all Shea Moisture products! I have not tried the shampoo/conditioner from the 'yellow' line, but I have tried the Deep Treatment Mask and it was ok (it worked much better for me as a leave-in or twisting cream).But I absolutely LOVE the Curl Enhancing Smoothing & Mist (refresher spray) from the 'orange' line, and all time FAV product is Purification Mask from 'black' line!
I tried the Curl & Style Milk first and the Curl Enhancer Smoothie as a last application. I have mixed hair and most products make my hair wiry and dry. I found immediately after use, my hair felt much softer and smoother. My curls are more defined and my overall hair appearance has a sheen and extra volume. It is not at all greasy. I am liking these products very much.
You had a mild break out when leaving the conditioner in... My scalp was on fire when I left it in overnight. Thanks for this review.
Great review! I love the smoothie but can only use it on like 4th or 5th day hair because my hair texture is too fine and the smoothie is too heavy. After watching this, I am definitely going to try the conditioner now too! Thanks again!

great review! i like the lather of the shampoo too! i have never tried the moisture retention condish btw. the curl enhancing smoothie did not work on my hair, i liked the curl and style milk

Awesome review. Haven't tried the shampoo yet, but used the leave in conditioner. It works great for twist outs.
I just start using this stuff the curl enhancing smoothie n luv the definition n how it made my curl look... went shoppin n came home my hair was all over the place curls dropped... I have wavy curly hair... I guess I gotta use a lot cause I used very little...by the way I used it on dry hair
You're not the only one girl.! I haven't tried them! And I don't feel bad for not trying them...lol If there is ever the buy one get one free i''ll try it. but right now its buy one get one half off at Target, but I don't feel like spending the money, especially when I have products that do what I need them to do. I know. Sometimes I'll buy products when I have extra $ and I'm bored....lol I make my own stuff as well. But yeah, i'll get to trying the curl enhancing smoothie since I've heard a lot about it.
im in the transition and when my friend does my hair she uses this setting lotion or maybe its a gel im not sure but it's by shea moisture. its in a pink container. I love it. last week I went to the store and I got the conditioner and the shampoo b/c the other product I was using seemed like it was making my hair shed. I love shea moisture its so soft on my hair and not strong I love your hair!

I broke out too using the shea moisture !! But the product itself did wonders for my hair.
Hi, your video was great and straight to the point which I loved. I use those Shea Moisture products frequently and your review on them is pretty spot on. I normally use the line for curly hair textures in summer and use the shea butter line in the winter to help keep my hair moisturized. Quick question tho (not sure if this was already asked), what is the brand name of the clips (or type of clip) you used to keep your twists flat? I have the same problem all the time when i do twists outs and those clips would help a lot, thanks :)

try to focus the shampoo on ur roots not on your ends it drys them out other than tht i love the products

the hibiscus and coconut is the shit man it helped my hair
you should do a CZcams of how you use it I notice a lot white ladies reviewing with out a demo of how they use it
The only thing I do is put the conditioner in a clip my hair up while I finish my bath then rinse it out and work the styling milk in the back and ends of my hair while it's still wet
I am going to buy myself some of that product.
I just got through with shampooing my hair about 10 minutes ago I I made a video from it. I love this stuff and its all real! with me going natural I feel this will be better than the other store bought products. its a little pricey but its all real and its worth it. the scent is amazging

I think that it's best to determine how your hair reacts to shampoo and what you think is best for you. For me, I think it's kinda silly to not enjoy the washing of the hair completely from root to tip...it's an invigorating experience!

No, I haven't tried any other shampoo from the Shea Moisture line. Have you tried it?
I've used it. It's expensive but worth it. It doesn't make your hair feel extremely stripped of moisture and it helps maintain frizz and enhance your curls before you start using the enhancer. I'd give it a 4/5.

Kerline C. I've never bought the Elixir. Just the shamp/Condi and smoothies. I don't see why it shouldn't work...but it also depends on your hair type. A tip I use is when I'm putting the conditioner on while it's wet, I shake my head back And fourth in the shower while the conditioner is still in my hair and then rinse it out. It helps with the curl definition. Same thing goes for the smoothies, do it the shower while shaking your head back and fourth, up and down to enhance the curls and air dry. Don't touch your hair once you get out the shower or you will cause frizz. My hair type is 3c I think. Corkscrew curls.
Quick question: is the Shea Moisture products only for very curly hair. I have thick hair but its just really thick and wavy not very curly. Would the masks work on my hair? Does is matter on which hair type you have? Thanks :)
As far as I know, anyone can use the shea moisture products. Which mask are you talking about? It's best to just try it out for your hair, some things that work for most peoples hair does not work for mine and vice-versa. I think the products are good for all hair types but I would recommend visiting Shea Moisture website for more information.

it works really great for me. I have not really thick but some what thick wavy hair and the leave in conditioner and deep condition masque work amazing. only used a week and already noticing a huge difference

So sorry....just now seeing this comment to approve for viewing. Yes, I would recommend this shampoo for curly hair. Just maybe not use as much as I did.
You should of not left it on all night
Don't use the Jamaican castor oil line! It will have your hair looking and feeling super dry!! Even though it helped me grow my hair out faster it still wasn't a good product.
