Hii I'm 4c/b high porosity shoulder length without shrinkage and I just wanted to say that the leave in conditioner for their Jamaican Black Castor Oil is the best thing.. the way it just sinks into my hair and makes it so easy to comb and soft and beautiful.. it's honestly so magical.
This was one of the first products I ever fell into when I first went natural and about 7 years later, it is still so so good to me. Just a heads up for anyone who's still looking

Water-soluble silicones are good for your hair because they're not going to build-up on your scalp. Silicone-free products tend to use alternatives and it's those chemicals we don't fully understand. For instance, cleansing products still need surfactants to clean, they just not might be using SLS or SLES.

Great Analysis. Thank you I prefer the Shea Moisture Black Jamaican Castor oil range. Only thing is my hair is curly but also not dense or very thick neither is it thin and its type 3. I do not suffer dandruff and i use dye to cover my grey so the classifications that Shea Moisture provides does not address types in a clear cut manner. For example dyed hair is not necessarily dry or damaged.
