C-130's have saved many a life, one of them mine. I was wounded during my 2nd tour of combat duty in Vietnam on May 17,1971. I was med-evact to the hospital ship Repose for stabilization. When I was stable enough to be flown out of country, myself and a number of wounded Marines were helicoptered to a jungle airfield near the DMZ. We were loaded onto a Marine C-130 sitting at the end of the red dirt runway. Our stretchers were all strapped in on the side racks of the airplane, IV bottles attached to the racks. When we were ready the pilots held the brakes of the C-130 and revved the engines up to full throttle. The loading ramp was kept down during take off and we could see the swirls of red dust being stirred by the 4 large propellers. With the ship shaking, engines screaming the brakes were released and we started off down the short runway, near the end the pilots pulled up into a steep climb just clearing the jungle canopy while enemy machine gun tracers could be seen flying by the plane. We kept in a steep climb, our IV bottles hanging at a 45 degree angle until we were out of gun range before leveling off., We were flown to the Philippines for treatment and then back to the states where I would spend the next 3 months in the hospital. I healed and spent 20 years in the Marine Corps before retiring. I became a California police officer and retired after a 30 career in law enforcement. I'll always remember that C-130 ride!

Thank you sir for your long service in uniform , there and here.
Semper Fi Gunny! Appreciate what you had to go through if it means much from some guy thats never been in the military himself but thank you.
Thank You for your Service SIR
Semper Fi GySgt and God Bless
You probably served with My grandpa as well! He was an infantryman in Vietnam and after several years became an aircraft mechanic before retiring from the Marine Corp as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. I always like hearing his war stories (whenever he's in the mood to talk about it anyway) and he never told me this before but he also worked for Lockheed Martin as his last employment I believe at least from what my grandmother told me. They have been married for over 50 years!!😮
Get well soon Garin.
I live in Houston, and you do NOT want to come over in the summer unless you like 35-40+ Celsius humid weather! Try and plan something for March of next year. This way you can enjoy Crawfish Season, and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. San Antonio, and Austin are only 3.5 hour drive from here, and Dallas/Fort Worth is almost 4 hour drive from here.
I second this, Houston TX here
Would 2 bestfriends since the age of 5 from rural NC, one about to be a doctor & the other working in construction management, both i n mid 20’s seriously thinking ab moving to TX, think we’d be accepted? Hell were coming either way if we want to but I think we’d fit in a whole helluva better than some prick from Silicon Valley.
My buddy ab to finish his doctorate, loves motorcycles & apparently TX, I think he said Austin has a huge motorcycle culture out there & then we both obviously always carry too, pretty country, extremely patriotic. I think we’d fit in ok, just wanted to ask some locals, both don’t break the law & think Texas is gonna be a good place to try to put down roots, in a strong, safe state, that we’ve known, loved & visited since we were kids, will never forget visiting the Alamo as a kid. Got a few family members who have lived in Texas for decades too, one aunt in Austin for example.
The heat will be tough though, that’s for sure, we’re used to humid & hot but def not Texas humid & hot, there’s levels to this shit. We’re starting to make plans & seriously consider doing it once he finishes his doctorate, totally platonic, just two bros tryna figure out life & Texas seems like the place to do it. Both have a lotta college friends who ended up in TX as well
100% agree with this post.
If you goto San Antonio you have to check out the River Walk and the Alamo.
Also 100% agree with this post. As someone who lives in San Antonio, people from Texas don’t want to go Houston in the Summer. Might as well book a trip to Palm Springs too, if you want to enjoy all of the hot weather things to enjoy
July is the 2nd worst month to visit Texas. August is the worst.
In Dallas the last week of July ranged from 100-104°F which is 37.8-40°C. Plus add a couple degrees to get to the "feels like temp" which we call the heat index. It factors in humidity.
In comparison, first week of August ranged from 102-106°F which is 38.9-41.1°C (plus add a few degrees for heat index). Our hottest day that month was 109°F (42.8°C).
I saw some suggestions for spring...pretty high change of rainy/stormy weather. I'd suggest fall. The best weather. State fair season plus American football ❤
Kat, i am so glad that you joined the videos. You are such a lovely person and you add so much. Of course, the entire family is beyond fantastic. Blessings to all of you. ~ karen
I recommend Colorado over Texas for a summer vacation spot. You’ll love the outdoors and the weather is much better for the summer.
Texan here, and I really really really don't want to agree with this but I will. Texas heat will kick your ass if you're not ready for it.
Yeah except you are in Colorado...
I put the intermountain region in my comment. A lot of Colorado will still be very hot. But the mountains are nice. I also put U.P. of Michigan. Anywhere on the Pacific coast.
They just need to find weather appropriate things to do while in Texas during that time of year.
Oh and Texas has a coast as well.
@@kennethmasters9329 Colorado is beautiful. I live in Austin, TX, but I’m from Houston. And while Texas does have a coast, the Texas beaches and the brown Gulf of Mexico are disgusting. Colorado is way more beautiful.
Yeah it gets hot it's summer in July of course but there is AC in the truck you rent, AC in your hotel, in Bass pro shop, in buccees, and lots of state parks where you don't need a license to fish. Plus all the swimming.. Texas won't disappoint. Lots of people have vacations here in the summer Terry Blacks awaits you four. I hope it happens😊 peace and love from Central Texas Hook'em Horns 🤘
You really want to come to Texas in the summer? It’ll be hotter than the devil’s butt crack out here in July.
(40 degrees Celsius plus humidity) I was born and raised in Houston and currently live in Austin. Trust me, TX is NOT worth it in the summer.
I came here to say this. I used to live in San Antonio and as a child would visit my grandparents in Livingston in the summer, and while I still loved Texas, I would much rather visit in late September or October.

My buddy ab to finish his doctorate, loves motorcycles & apparently TX, I think he said Austin has a huge motorcycle culture out there & then we both obviously always carry too (where legally possible), pretty country, extremely patriotic. I think we’d fit in ok, just wanted to ask some locals, both don’t break the law (buddy occasionally speeds & does some “illegal” tricks on his bike) & think Texas is gonna be a good place to try to put down roots, in a strong, safe state, that we’ve known, loved & visited since we were kids, will never forget visiting the Alamo as a kid. @@BucketOfFail Oh yes, for a Texas trip, go in the fall.
I gave the same (but milder) warning in another comment. But Slovakian people have been coming here for a long time to live. Plus the first two weeks in June isn't too bad. They may not be able to come any other time if the kids have school. I wouldn't be too discouraging.
I know I don't live in Texas so maybe I don't have room to talk. But I went to Texas on a trip in August from Massachusetts and lived to tell the tale. Yeah it was hot but you acclimate and just get used to it. I know people mean well when they say "Don't come here at that time, it's too hot!" but the comments are always the same and life continues on.
Graham Fam, These drones over Syria are being controlled via satellite, from Creech Air Force Base, near Las Vegas, Nevada. A distance of over 6000 miles!
Aw man, poor boy. Love your reactions. Your children and their friends are all crippled up. :lol
I'm Retired USAF... We are the KINGS of American Unhealthcare
people play stupid games, they win stupid prizes
If you guys make it over, be sure to do some filming so we can see. I know you're gonna be trying that Texas BBQ, would love to see your reaction. Hope Garin feels better soon.
We will be delighted to have you here!
Get well soon garin. Stay strong little man. ( Jono if you see this, i wouldnt go to texas in mid summer. It will be 46°c on a normal warm summer day in austin).
Ours prayers are with your son to get well soon.
Can I really suggest that you come later in the year especially since you want to come here to Texas. October, November or December are actually better months to come. College football won’t be until September or later. It won’t be super cold either
He has to work around his work schedule.
The amazing thing is how the Americans knew what was going on through their surveillance. This alone should have been a strong warning to the Russians to withdraw their troops.
I want to wish that your little man starts feeling better soon. Youngins get ill often. Lots of germ sharing. The old saying is -- "Mess with the best, DIE like the rest!" Later you two & thanks!!!!!
Texan Here.
Hit the Rocky Mountains - Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, in the summer.
Southern states like Texas between October and April.
It gets brutal here in the Summer lol
Texas in summer is going to be challenging. If you could hold off until the cooler months, I think you'll really enjoy yourselves a lot more. Not only that, but if you go when it's not typical tourist season, it will probably be cheaper, too.
Texas in July? Expect 40C+ temps.
That's why they call them hellfire missiles
we have saying in america don’t f with usa
I remember this video getting popular immediately after the literal convicts and prisons with ZERO military training joined the Wagner groups and took the defensive fortress of Bakhmut.
Then skip Texas- you'll have 45+ C PLUS humidity, and you are NOT acclimated to weather like that. Try New Mexico, Arizona, or Colorado/Utah/Wyoming instead. Arizona/NM would be warm but the humidity is a quarter of that you'll get in TX."Euro's" seem to have a challenge getting their heads around this but, EVERYTHING you can see in TX, you can see in other SW/Western states. Cattle drives, rodeos, ranch hands and well ranches. States like AZ and NM have their own take on traditional Mexican foods as well. Fun fact, but the "Texas" you see in Westerns is actually AZ, NM and UT. Saguaro cacti are native to the Sonoran Desert in northern AZ and nowhere else.
That is REALLY how military people and veterans talk BTW...
Aye great reaction mate, love the war reactions!
Get well soon Garin and great news about coming to the USA especially if you like really hot weather. I was in northern Texas for about 5 weeks in the middle to late July and the temperatures were on average around 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the day I was to fly home the morning weatherman was predicting around 115 degrees Fahrenheit so that’s why I say if you like it hot you may enjoy the heat in Texas.
San Antonio is very nice. There are a lot of things to do in and around the San Antonio area.
Texas in July....I live in Boise, Idaho and it gets hot here in July and Texas is much further south. You might want to consider a more northern State like Washington or Montana. Missoula, Montana has great summers and it is a great town. The closer to Canada the better during the month of July.
America is at least 50 years ahead of rest of world in technology and spend more than world combined annually on defense
Pretty new to your channel. Beautiful family & love your videos. Hope your son heals up soon 🙏. God bless you all. ❤️👍
When you come to Texas I HIGHLY suggest checking out some of our sports facilities. In Dallas you can tour the famous AT&T stadium where the Cowboys play as well as their practice facility in Frisco. You can also tour Texas Rangers baseball stadium. Also American Airlines Center where the Stars and Mavs play (hockey and basketball). know some colleges/universities offer tours of their sports facilities as well. Look online to see who does...most convenient options if they offer it would be Texas Longhorns in Austin. If in Dallas there is TCU, UNT, SMU. University of Houston if in Houston. I'm blanking on what city Baylor is. Texas Tech and A&M are great schools but not convenient in a 10 day trip.
It was brilliant how they used the warhog's primary front gun sound to use it to blank out the curse words of the guy talking lolololol
Warning. Don't go to Texas in the summer. Or Florida. Or any other southern state. Best time to visit April and May, October and November.
IF you come to the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area in the first week of July, in Gettysburg, (just about 36 miles away) is hosting a Civil War reenactment of the Gettysburg battle. I live near there. If you like history this should be fun. Perhaps I can meet you there.
Wish you could hold off until October. You could hit the Texas state fair in Dallas which also host the OU vs Texas football rivalry. One of the biggest if not the biggest rivalries in all of college sports. Plus in October the oppressive heat has broken and the weather is much more pleasant.
I hope your son gets better soon, another good video.
In the end times the Bible describes flying locusts causing severe damage. The Apache looks like a locust...
I’ve heard rumors and idk if this is true or not but the us military works with the makers of battlefield and call of duty to train kids basically, to teach them how to fly drones. It’s coming to a point that eventually air forces of the world will be drones.
there is a saying play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
The battle field was said to look "moon like" witch craters as far as you can see and no chance anything could grow there for awhile.
We have a saying in the US. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Wagner had to find that out the hard way.
The drones are flown by USAF pilots in the US using "internet" links. The voices are AI. Listen closely to the mispronunciation of the words
Get ready for the humidity
And now you know why we don't have universal healthcare. All that money went to the military contractors.
Russia: Not us.
USA: Bet. 😂
The leashes were finally off.
I hope the kids are well. ❤
Just come up through the southern border it’s free and easy right now.
Such a great reaction. You guys are amazing
You better come to Texas! You find yourself in trinity County I'll show y'all how to have fun!!
think you missed the chance instead of saying f around and find out you could have given us the brrrrrrr around and find out lol
Come on over in the summer. Qe would love to have you. Plus in the summer renting a truck might be more practical (less chance of rain on the contents of your truck bed). Completely understand preference to rent a pickup rather than an SUV. They are fun to drive and they are iconic.
If you really are going in the summer, I would NOT recommend visiting Texas! Not only will it be extremely hot, it will be terribly humid as well! I would save Texas for a future trip and visit a different spot in the US (plus the Texas state fair is really fun and it happens later in the year). Really anywhere in the South will be incredibly hot and humid unless you're right on the beach.
To melt sand & bend gun barrels, that's some serious heat... I bet whoever that Russian was that denied involvement originally, I wonder how he sleeps at night knowing he basically is responsible from nearly 300 deaths & who knows how many millions of rupee,s in damages
2 months late, but hope your child is doing well now.
As for summary of this video, Russia say don't poke the bear, here in the US, don't poke the hornets' nests.
In the end, should not have happened then (any conflict whatsoever), but continue to be "mischievous", just don't.
You may want to check historical day and night temperatures in the areas you want to go for that time of year... People often don't realize that the southern USA is subtropical and can get quite hot in the summer. Austin, Texas (30.25°N) is about the same latitude as Cairo, Egypt, just as hot with a lot more humidity thanks to the Gulf; if that gives you any clue as to the potential heat index.
Glad you had your son checked out at the hospital. The bottom part of his throat looked a little swollen. I felt weird saying anything about it but in good conscience i had to. I deleted that comment because i felt i might have been wrong. I did ask others if they see what i'm seeing but i was ignored by everyone, that was the main reason i deleted it. Hope he feels better soon.
Same here. Just thought it wasn't my place.
@@katherinedinwiddie4526 I didn't want to unnecessarily worry them either if it was nothing. But to me it looked like his thyroid was swollen. I would feel horrible if it was something serious and i never said anything. glad it's not.
here comes the BOOM lol
Yeah! 😂
Get well Garin! Much love from Las Vegas!!
Praying for your son
Same
Awww!!! Get well soon, Garin! 💖💖
wait for bumerang
Actually it’s not really about oil at all.
America gets most of it’s oil from domestically and from Canada.
Europe and Asia use much more Middle East oil than America does.
Hey guys, you said you are thinking of coming to Texas in July. Do you know how hot it is in Texas in July? Overnight low temperatures can be warmer than 85F (30C) and daily high temperatures are often above 96F (36C). Also, the big 5 cities (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth) experience humidity values above 80% and UV indices of 7 or more. If you must come in summer June is usually less miserable. But in my opinion October is our most comfortable weather month. We are still in short pants and t-shirts in October.
Not to discourage you, I love Texas. It is just that a lot of people don't know what they are in for when visiting Texas in the summer.
Apache helicopters are flown by or maintained by the U.S. Airforce, they are flown and maintained by the U.S. Army.
Your coming to Texas in the summer.... IT'S hot everywhere. So be prepared.
Try to go to yellowstone you will love it stay in cody Wyoming
Wish I knew how to speak A10.
What part of Texas?
The heat is going to kill you😂

You might want to be in Florida in the summer. It's hot. The kids can go to the beach!
Americans and Syrian Ally was under attack... Syrian Ally was even injured. America Defends her Allies. We hope that remains true for as long as possible.
"america defends her allies"
under donald trump, we abandoned the very same allies seen in this video.
@@sirmoonslosthismind yup, he specifically has made a habit of throwing his personal allies under the bus at the drop of a hat. America as a whole though usually puts in more effort
@@TheGelatinousSnake
cold comfort to the kurds, especially given that we've actually betrayed them before.
@@sirmoonslosthismind that cuts the Metal Gear Fan in me deep. Everyone would cry about the Tyranny of Distance making the biggest difference between the two scenarios. In Syria, the Rangers were already present with their Syrian allies who were even hosting American troops. Russian mercs opened fire at American positions and injured an American Ally in the presence of American forces. Although the two scenarios are so different, no standing up to Saddam sooner is still tragic. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Glad justice eventually found him.
Aka left eye
Depending how long you are here, and if you rent a car, you might consider a season pass that will get you in all national parks. (Some of the parks are free.) I believe it would cost about $80 for the four of you for a season pass. I prefer to see the country and the parks, instead of large cities. Flying from big city to big city would become expensive. You did mention Texas. So, visiting a few western states should be interesting and enjoyable for you. If you don't mind driving long distances. There's a lot to see in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, etc. Do a lot of research, and watch videos of other people's vacations/trips to where you think you'd like to visit. Good luck.
Just an observation, how does a father not know that his young daughter broke her arm a day ago and laughs about it when told by the mother. That whole exchange didn't seem strange to anybody else?
It was his daughter's *_friend._* Pay attention. That's why it didn't seem strange to anybody else.
The Apache has a Top Speed of 284 kph. The US military no longer likes that. But that next generation US helicopter is her the S-97 Raider with a top speed of over 370 kph and far better maneuverability.
S-97 Raider look it up.
This is a fun retelling of the story, however, it is slightly misleading in some ways (mostly with the timeline) and lacks a lot of very interesting details. I highly recommend Chris Cappy of Task & Purpose's video on the battle, "Why US Troops Fought Wagner Mercenaries in Syria." He does a great job of giving context and detail to the event. The Infographics Show channel also has a good video on the battle, "US Special Forces vs Wagner Group - Battle of Kasham."
You might want to check out some videos from Ukraine and their uses of drones to attack Russian Armor.

Oh God, Summer in Texas is 110-130 degrees. You should do somewhere northern in the Summer. With plenty of trees and trails to hike along creeks under the trees where it's cooler.
America's so badavvvvvvvvvvvvvvrrrrttt, the Russians made a MEDAL specifically to celebrate the survivors of an engagement with American Military forces!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Yo! Don't go to texas ever, but if you do have to go don't go with your children so they don't get un-alived. But surely don't go to texas in the summer. It's already too hot in the winter. I'm not kidding about how dangerous it is for children there.
If those Su-34/35's had attacked American forces, it would have been a direct assault on American troops by the Russian air force. It would have literally started World War III between two massively nuclear-armed nations. Cooler heads prevailed for once. EDIT: Also, if you ever have the chance and have the money to cover getting trapped, try to visit the northern US in the winter. The upper MIdwest and New England frequently get buried in snow, and it's lovely. Also, you can jump right across the border into Canada for their poutine and their manners.
Jono,
Sounds like you're having a time with your children, garen sick, and your daughter tending to a injured friend. Check out when the US used the MOAB bomb in Afghanistan.
Are you sure that sound might have been Russians shiting in there pants, Ha! Ha!, hope your son gets well soon, our players are with him. God bless.
