The Norco Fluid FS1 24" is designed specifically for junior riders who are ready to take on some epic mountain bike adventures.
This MTB is ideal for kids aged 8 to 12, and it's perfect for riders between 4'5" and 5'1" in height. This is a serious enduro bike for young shredders, featuring a slack head angle, air suspension, burly trail tires, 11 speed drivetrain, and hydraulic disc brakes. These are awesome specs for a modern mountain bike that is shrunk down for 24inch wheels, designed to give young riders confidence to hit the chunky stuff.
Although the Fluid FS 1 24" sits at a higher price point within the youth full suspension bike market, it delivers excellent value when compared to adult MTBs with similar features.

Nice review little dude! Do you think lighter wheels and tires would make it more capable as a cross country racer?

You’re welcome! That’s a good question, I think yeah it could definitely go faster with lighter wheelset, faster rolling tires. I was able to land a podium on an XC race with this bike, but that is mostly due to confidence is cornering and maybe the drivetrain and dropper post.
But, I really think that this bike is really for burly terrain. Hope that helps

Which cube are you looking at? You might also want to look at 26 or XS bikes, i moved up when I was 10

Hey mate. Great review.
A few years back I purchased one of these for my son. Duallies for kids were pretty rare on the ground. I found a clip of this kid, Jackson Goldstone, who had a slightly modified Norco Fluid 24 czcams.com/video/BHhGLeLk-gU/video.html
Even though he was a little ripper back then, turns out he's progressed quite a bit and was the fastest rider at the Australian Down Hill champs this year, although not Australian so didn't qualify. Thought a bit of heritage info on the Norco Fluid 24 would be of great interest to you. Who knows, in a few years time YOU might be the fastest rider at the Australian Down Hill champs. 👍
