- Small Mountain Bikes are not easy to make. From a design aspect but also from a cost analysis since they are usually lower volume bikes. If parts break on small mountain bikes, it can often be difficult to replace and often the manufacturer doesn’t even have the parts! That being said, I’m so glad Norco is making this bike! Sure, it is way overkill for most, but for some, it is just what they need to progress in the sport! The future is bright for the next generation of mountain bikers!
The Norco Fluid FS 20 comes in 2 trims, the 2 ($2k) and the 1 trim ($1500)
The Fluid 20 comes with 148mm boost spacing in the rear (110 boost up front), dropper post, UDH derailleur hanger (to make it easier for replacement when they smash it into something). Short 140mm cranks, cool SDG pedals, the list goes on and on.
We do not normally stock these at the shop (we may in the future), but you can special order them as this customer did.

Absolutely amazing!! I could see this being a great investment bike if you have several kids so they could all ride it at some point since it so so well made. I’d love to see it in action. 😍
Well, there are now a couple of them floating around the Houston area! My kids are good for now, but who knows, maybe in the future!

Yeah, it's tough. I think every little person should experience a cheap department store bike at least for a little bit and to appreciate if/when they get a quality bike! At the same time, you want them to have something nice that is reliable, rides well, and if it is their sport, gives them the best opportunity to become a pro!
