This house is absolutely AMAZING!! Who ever lived here was a world traveler and collected artifacts from indigenous people and cultures from all over the world, especially native Americans! The blanket on the bed with a hat on it is a Native American pray blanket! The feathers are also Native American. Absolutely a magical place!
I would love to meet this person or persons , they are truly a free spirit !

The boxes in the kitchen contain herbs and spices, the box you asked about has Star Anise which is used in a lot of Chinese and Indian cooking, below the herb boxes were the measuring spoons that you touched and the pestle and mortar for grinding them, handing up were a few Wok's. In each room and outside there are a lot of mirrors to repel negativity, Native American use feathers to allow good spirits in and keep out bad and negativity The feather is a powerful symbol that signifies honor and a connection between the owner, the Creator, and the bird from which the feather came. It symbolizes trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power, and freedom. It is an object that is deeply revered and a sign of high honor. The jacket is of an airline pilot (Captain 4 bars on the sleeve), so looks like he was very superstitious and most likely a pilot that travelled a lot to India, China and probably America because of the food he would have eaten on stop overs and liked it. The star in the living room is a lamp shade like the others hanging up. If you could find a definite date in there I think you'll probably find that he didn't come back because his aircraft crashed! The woman's shoes were possibly from just a girl friend stay over because there were no women's clothing there. Try finding a date and then cross reference it with any aircraft crashes that could have been shot down too or even places that had trouble where bombs have been let off. The person was very into acquiring protective symbols.

If I could, I would take the suitcase with all of those tapestries, almost all of those trinkets, and the artwork. Hell, I could just move in clean up the place and continue on with this style of decor! Oh and I would invite you and Lisa over.....of course! Much love to you both, stay safe, have fun and keep up the good work! Peace!

This was a great explore. I would have loved to have had a conversation with this man. He seemed to be military at one time, as a lot of his stuff was well organized. The plastic containers in the kitchen are used a lot over the pond here to help organize the kitchen while at the same time showing what is in the containers. Here they are called tupperware, do you have that there in the U.K.? I get the impression he travelled a bit during his career, with all the little bits and bobs you found. Adam I watch a great deal of abandon places but yours is the by far my favorite one because you're real and you don't have some story telling voice (like on one I won't mention) and if your afraid or trying not to be it's real and it shows. I know you're not in the US but if you ever venture out this way and want to dive into a little more paranormal investigations then check out "The Berkshires" and or Vermont. The Berkshires has cities or towns with haunted hotels but Vermont not only has that but also an entire mountain; like Glastenbury Mountain in Bennington County in Vermont that has been compared to The Bermuda Triangle" because hikers go in but are sometimes never seen again. It's worth a Google search then make your own decision if it's worth looking into, but either way I still wanted to let you know that I am probably the world's most skepticism but your stuff definitely intrigues me and leaves me hungry for more..... Keep doing what you're doing and don't get all "commercial" on us 🙂

I'd visited this house before (virtually), and it's a real gem. Good to see it from your perspective too. Turned out from various clues that the last owner(s) were Indian and he'd been airline staff. (the two wings and the sleeve rings suggest a pilot). It's possible that at some point he ran a restaurant or takeaway too, or maybe a bar, from the range of spices and quantity of pans in the kitchen. Upstairs - 2d is two old pennies, or 1p on that 'Rajah' poster. And behind it a poster advertising a social event. Another clue? Someone had covered up a name and address on one of those computer monitors which last time gave a clue to something else newsworthy which had happened not far from where the house is located. All in all a really nice explore and you pointed out all of the important features. Thanks guys!

Your house finds with character like this show the lives of the owners: so much living went on. The disarray and clutter indicates (to me) either depression or dementia, unfortunately. Seems to be common in these abandoned places. Garam masala is a mix of Indian herbs, like a curry with a distinctive smell and taste. The jars showed various Indian pastes like Tikka Masala, one of my favorites. Good job!

But he was a very private person wasn't he? There are no photo's of other people, friends, places, not a one. As for the feathers, I think he just loved birds and collected just continuously collected them, as I do. They were everywhere in his home, and he had a really cool poster in his bedroom. I really like this! One thing I saw that you didn't comment on that I can explain: In some of the window sills -- along with the feathers were these greyish half spheres. Those are rocks called Thunder Eggs. They are perfectly round and, I think, formed by lava bubbles? Rock hounds cut them in half with a stone saw. Sometimes they have beautiful designs in the middle when they polish the flat side. Some have hollow spots. The ones there looked like the "nothing special" ones which most collectors wouldn't bother keeping unless for sentimental reasons. Or they could have been beautiful, but covered in dust. The ones I have came from the very center of Oregon State in the US.
(edit): Oh! and your funny little pieces of wood looked like driftwood picked up from the beach. :)
Also, there was evidence of a child being there. Grandchild maybe? That heavy, round cushion in the living room is like one my grandmother made me for sitting or reclining on the floor to watch TV. Also Beatrix Potter etc.

That list stuck onto the kitchen cabinet had a lot of Indian cooking ingreduents written on there. They either loved their curries or they were from India and it was their traditional indian spices they used daily. I also think the colours used on the kitchen cabinets and shelving have an Indian look about them. It's an Indian couple's house for sure. I don't think of *India as the middle east but it's its own subcontinent .
Letters and bills usually have a date on them too. It would be great if places could be preserved from time and the elemements. I'd like that least see useful items be repurposed not left to rot with age or eventually vandalised

D stands for pence. e.g. £ for pounds S for shillings d for pence £.s.d. judging by the moon chart and Celtic things, plus all the crystals (rocks) on the window ledges, feathers etc. All the windchimes and bird feeders in the garden and mirror outside they were into Mother Earth, spirituality and Pagan way of believing and living. 'That grinder thing' is a Mortor and Pestal for grinding spices and herbs. Great find enjoys this one very much, thank you.

At around 05.18 you’ve got what’s called a shooting stick, which you take when you go shooting grouse or whatever. The point can be stuck in the ground and the top opens to a little seat. Loving this explore ❤

Hi Adam, the bed probably had those 2 mattresses on it because it was an adjustable electric bed
the reason for the 2 mattresses is they can be used independent of each other. I have an adjustable
bed that's how I recognised it. A really cool house, I wonder what happened to him, if he was a pilot
maybe a plane crashed with him onboard. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤

Remember and be careful about looking at old foot jars especially with food in them as the food rots it will give off gasses and the jar can explode ... if picked up or touched ..

Fossil lepidodendron on downstairs windowsill, fossil crinoids in messy cupboard and geode on upstairs windowsill, adding to that the trinkets seen all over and awesome spice rack I'm guessing Indian family or possibly mixed race residence.

Loved this place, loving that it's untouched and not trashed, some really old items in there too, definately loved to travel and was in touch with nature and loved their sea mammals. What a beautiful home, did you find out what was in that long wooden case in the bedroom? Very quirky place, makes them look like they were very interesting people who lived there. Fantastic find, thank you for sharing this stunning video, absolutely loved it.

Just saw a box with Pratt Bros. Streatham. Streatham is in South London and there used to be a big departmental Store called Pratts. A friend of mine actually lives in a house that was the Pratt family home ... it's like a mansion ! Maybe the owner came from the Streatham area.

I had the feeling this guy has a background of being Iranien, Turkish, or Indian. I felt bad for him, he seems lonely and his live went around collecting some items as he went from the 80s to 90s. He literally filled every corner in the house and somehow, he was close to be a hoarder! If he isn't already.
    Sooo 😥😥 😥!

That is not a crutch, it,s a shooting stick. Used to sit on. Poke it in the ground, open it up, sit on the leather seat. Used in country pursuits. My mum had one.

The tin advertisement for 'Rajah' Cigars at 2d and one armed bandit at 1d a spin, are priced in UK pre-decimalisation old money, that is before 1971. The 'd' stands for denarius and is the old penny. 12 of them in the old shilling, equal to 5 pence now, and 20 old shillings in the pound. So, you could play that game machine while smoking a cigar, all for 3 of the old pennies or 3d!
