Abandoned homes like this always sadden me. It’s sad to see someone’s life left behind as if no one cares. Thieves make it even sadder.
I do find it interesting as well. I would research property records to find even more info.
What makes me really wonder is how does the property stay like that for so long? Wouldn’t someone, even local government officials do something about the house and contents? Surely property taxes aren’t paid forever to allow the house to remain in state.
I mean if this stuff is just going to sit in the dark and waste away you might as well resell it to someone who's going to enjoy it.
I cant stand seeing really cool old stuff just sit in an abandoned property just to get smashed up by stupid teenagers and wild animals
And it’s all very clean and tidy.I’m gathering they had a cat I do hope the cat was rescued
It is so sad that people take things that don’t belong to them . It also looks like someone has try to pack his belongings up for him . Why can people keep there hands to themselves. So sad .
It would only end up as landfill, or any valuable stuff goes to the government if no claims are made. So what is the problem if somebody takes something that they can use?

Good find that was an amazing explore. First time ive seen that place you must be the first to explore it.
I've seen quite few different ex police mens houses on exploring channels it's strange that intelligent people would fail to sort their estate's out before they die even if this guy had no surviving relatives he could of given his estate to charity he obviously liked cats so a cat recuse could of benefited from his estate rather than just leave it to rot.
Perhaps he died (murdered) on duty with no one to look aftr his home?

A lot of critics here this week. I notice that even though they believe you are doing the wrong thing by exploring abandoned properties, they still tuned in to watch.
From the time I was a little girl until I was in my late 30's I had a reoccurring dream about finding a home that was full of stuff. It also had hidden rooms to explore. I can remember waking and feeling happy because I so enjoyed exploring the place and the things in it I get that same feeling when I watch these videos I'm getting up there in years and it has given me peace of mind knowing that it's just stuff. You can't take it with you.

Always amazes me how full these homes are, so many clothes & ornaments etc. if someone wanted to trash my home they’d be hard pressed to find much to fling about.
I would live very minimalist when I'm old to avoid this sort of jumbled squalor.. Id also put my pride on the back burner and ask for help

Another nice video Adam. That food pantry was so clean and organised. I liked the milk cupboard at the end; I suspect that would have been outside by the front door at some point for the milkman to leave his bottles in each morning.

Someone has started packing the house. Looks like they brought stuff in to.start repair but maybe the snakes from the aquarium got loose and scared them. Were they vipers?
So much stuff, he probably passed away, good explore. I never heard of Jones sewing machine. Next time show them in more depth. I would like a longer look at machines, I have several.
