    Thank you for this video. My local electrician found a fault in my BCM and wanted £300 + labour to repair it. I'll be fixing it myself after I bought a cheap second hand BCM elsewhere

      @@bddmedia you need to match the numbers as some have different software or hardware meaning it might be incompatible if you dont also you'll need vcds to check it's coding is set up to the same configuration

    Is this the same for the 2008 TT roadster? My two heated seats are off. Fault is Z45 & Z46, open circuit / short with power - intermittent. Thought it could be one of the thermal fuses

    This is not the Comfort Control Module. This is the Body Control Module. The Comfort Control Module is under the drivers side floor mat.

      Hey there! Yes, that's correct. We've done a video for the actual comfort control module itself already. This unit is commonly referred to as the comfort control power supply (as per the video title):

      Hi. Tim Hill do you know how to reprogram bcm? I changed mine but everything went crazy, I scared and put back the old one and now with that one my lights doesn’t work, start stop cannot turned off and inside lights doesn’t work either 😐 thank you!

    Thanks for the info, i guess changing this will help alot as i do not have wipers, fogs front and rear, no hazards, no turn signals in front, and no bright lights infont also.

    Hi I have an Audi A4 2007 2.0 TDI B7 Avant everything works except for my interior lights and cig lighter the buttons light up but the bulbs don't and the error that comes up with VCDS is low positive voltage. Please help as I am not sure where to look I tried removing the CCMP like you did in the video above but then even my headlights stopped working so I dont think its that because if it was then I would also have issues with my head lights, I put it back and my head lights are fine now. Its just the interior lights.

    Hi sir, I have a vw passat 2011 1.6TDI. A few days ago i used the VCDS mess up some of the settings in my car BCM? only the little lcd screen in middle of dash board is powered, and the remote key can open and close the doors but the car dash board not any light on when I inserted the key( no self-test).the car can not be start, because the ignition can not be turn on, VCDS can not connect to the BCM, so I want to know that can I replace the BCM with second-hand one to fix the problem? Do I need any coding after replace the BCM? Thank you!

    Hi there, quick question. Does this unit have anything to do with alarm, central locking, hazards and or side/main lights? I ask this because my A4 hazard lights keep coming on by themselves and VAG-COM pulled a fault for Switch for Emergency Flasher when scanning the Comfort Control Module.

      yes brother it does,control the hazard,turn signal,dash light,wiper motor,parking ligh,head light etc,talking from my xperience My A4 B6 2002,start acting abnormal turn signals,the best thing to do is remove it & chq inside is thr any visual damage.(most cases water leak through the ECU case cause it....)

    Hi! Great video, do you happen to know if this module controls the windows and reverse light switch? my power windows only seem to work when the door is open and my reverse lights are stuck on. I have already had the reverse light switch in the gearbox replaced, thanks in advance!
    Edit: I started having problems with these after some welding was done to repair rust under the car, hope you can help :)

    It would also be very helpful if you would state if a replacement module needs coding that can be done with vag com VCDS OR if you must take it to the Dealer because of component protection etc. Thank you.

      This bcm module holds the coding for the CCM so changing this can mess about with the central locking windows lights immobiliser settings

    Hello does that module you are removing in the video have any thing to do with the air conditioner and fans please help I have 2004 s4 and have replaced bot fan modules and still have no ac and fans

      I think that's something to do with the heater control under the radio that controls the fans and Aircon it dose it mostly from that module really you should use vcds and look for fault codes it the only thing I can think of that handles both of them systems this bcm has nothing to do with those neither dose the CCM the ECU received a signal to do with the air compressor but not the interior fans and the fan resistors have nothing to do with the AC pump

      it is due to water corrosion inside the part, had the same issue , this part controls all the headlights switches in this car

      @@josezuazua7936 hello, the car had to be taken to a specialist to remove body control module. If you change an electrical part in the car the main computer blocks it as it thinks it’s stolen (a security feature). A specialist will connect your car through Germany. That’s the only way to do it. Audi dealership can do it it cost around £150.

    I have a audi b6 s4 and i recently dropped a socket in the cigarette lighter and the car went crazy for a moment now the turn signals wipers horn dont work as well as the headlights are a little weird i dont have tail lights when headlights are completely on and parking lights work normal but i dont hsve auto or fog lights PLEASE HELP

    my Audi burned the engine ecu a MED9.1 I'm buying a BCM, panel with keys and the engine ecu to put in the car my question is the car will work without programming because it has the TCM, airbag module, original comfort module car if you can help me I would be grateful I am from Brazil !!!!

    hi can this module cause not working k line? my k line volte is jumping betwen 0.5v to 3v i think minimum must be 11v everything is working in my car just cant connect to diag with k line any tips?

      That's a huge job. You'll be replacing a LOT of parts to get that operational unfortunately. And the cost often makes it impractial unless it's a very new or top-end model. Best of luck though, what a project!!

    Isn't that a body control module by any chance? Comfort control unit is the one under the carpet( immobiliser, central locking and power windows)
    The body control module controls wipers,washers,fog lights and some other optionals... or am i mistaken?

    One rainy night, my wipers stuck (constantly working), fog lights not functioning, left or right signals not functioning and the the light signals on the instrument clusters went down. I went to my mechanic but couldn't find the problem... It seems like this BCU

      The BCM can control loads of different things. Windows, locking, headlights, buttons, switches etc etc. It controls a lot!

      Hmmm. That's a strange one. Well if the relay is working and the motor works fine if connected to power directly, then I'd be testing the switch.

    Hello, first of all thank you for your excellent videos.
    I have an audi 2.5 tdi 2001, and I have dtc error codes that I cannot resolve.
    Driver side on the module, nothing works except the passenger's window control intermittently.
    I think to check all the connections and wires, open the door and test my module, look at the fuses. But after that I don't know. An opinion?
