I Convert the ccm under the dash of this audi a4 because water keep leaking in the car and damage it so I do some heave searc and realized that water leaking from the rear windshield and soak into the mat of the car. so I remove the plugs and drain the water. then dry out the ccm and spray it all over with wd40 and convert it into the dashboard where it is safer.

Good video but do remind peope to clear out / remove the drain plugs at the bottom of the windscreen to stop water coming into the car in the first place

Did your ccm have water damage? And did you clean it before placing it on the side of steering column?
It didn't damage so I clean it with wd40 and luckily the battery didn't hooked up so it save lol thanks for stopping by
Great, do I have to remove driver seat to be able to pull the carpet back enough to remove ccm?
No just slide the seat all the way back

My comfort control module got wet I replaced it and Horan windshield wipers turn signals windows convertible top all don’t work Fuses are still good what could be the issue

@@MrtalentedReid I see yours is good, I wanted to see if Brandon got his fixed. My 2009 A4 got water inside, windows stopped working top not working so I got a used CCM same part# and when I plugged it in, the top still doesn't work and nothing on the windows. I dried my original box out and put it back in, the windows are now working, the top starts to open then stops halfway. So, my old box works better than the replacement. I'm at a loss of where to go from here.
Oh wow do you clean the connector with wd40 and try it again and make sure Check all fuses
Is this covered by comprehensive insurance it fried my comfort control Module?

@@MrtalentedReid I wanted to file an insurance claim be cause my floorboards were completely flooded and it messed up the electrical. I have comprehensive insurance which covers weather. Just wondering if you know how I can insure it’s covered by my insurance
The car should fully covered to stand and damage applied to the car
Oh you can contact your insurance company to see what insurance you on
They should able to tell u everything that covered
