This is definitely a rabbit hole you should go down. Muse are literally the best live act in the world.
Voted best live band in the world for about four years running by the European music press. The concert in Rome was a crowd of 60'000. Check out 'New Born' and 'Plug in Baby', from their 2nd album. So far they have released 8 studio album, 2 live album and 44 singles
*60,963 😉
Like, how the hell have Muse not taken the US?? My 17 year old is obsessed with them and they have such writing and production skills in both recording and live performance. My boy is a singer/songwriter and guitarist and looks up to Matt Bellamy like I revere Robert Smith of The Cure. Muse have gone from being a slightly Radiohead wannabe band in the 90s to astonishing heights and deserve all recognition!
Absolution was their best album/tour. Saw them in Oz, was off the scale
Rammstein is better
@@pesmerga182 Tf is that?
Please fall down the Muse rabbit hole, they are amazing. I've seen them live at the O2 twice, they can fill arenas and stadiums like nobody's business. Have a look at the Origin of Symmetry and Absolution albums in particular as well as Black Holes & Revelations, from which this song came.
Also, Knights of Cydonia was on Guitar Hero 3 specifically
Plug In Baby also at this concert is a must. The crowd during this song a fantastic
That’s a banging tune…
Muse is probably the deepest rabbit hole you'll get to. They have truly massive back catalogue, and the styles vary quite a bit too. That said, no matter how seemingly different certain songs are they also somehow sound distinctly Muse. They also are consistently voted one of the best live bands. Everyone is going to provide you with hundreds of songs, all I'll say is where possible watch live versions. The only exception is Hysteria, which I feel should be first appreciated with the studio version (do a double header studio vs live in one video!)
"I didn't know Muse was like this" - This is quintessential Muse. If you like this, you'll like Muse in general.
This has probably been my biggest surprise of all the react videos I've seen. To see someone who is into music, not know who Muse, and not know what Knights of Cydonia is... just blows my mind. I honestly thought it was a universal thing at this point lol.
Still, as you play guitar it's a super fun song to play. Very easy to pickup and has that feel food factor when you perfect a riff except it's all the way throughout the song. A must play, even better if when you play along to the song.
Strangely theyre not that big in America. They supported U2 in America when they were big over here
Guess these guys never played Guitar Hero 3
Seen them 12 times and it's still not enough. Best live band I've ever seen. Glad you reacted to it 🤘
I am so envious! I have been thwarted in my attempts to see them. Fingers crossed I will get to see them eventually.
@@SGABlencathra fingers crossed for you, they should tour soon with the new album 😊
I’m about to see them for the second time !
best live band in the world, by far. should check out more.
No song in the world gives me more energy than this one
The Harmonica / Mouth Organ bit was from the Charles Bronson movie “Once Upon a Time in the West”. The soundtrack was composed by the great Ennio Morricone.
It makes sense, the entire song is a spaghetti western/Morricone tribute.
I've seen Muse 20 times. Soon to be 21 next year. Best band I've ever seen.
Proper band, Muse. The gig at Wembley Stadium in 2007 in front of 90,000 people was one of the greatest gigs of my life. Try Muscle Museum, Plug In Baby and Newborn.
I saw them at the Eden Project, and they can only have 3000 there. My friend & I got right to the front, and we were both deaf for a couple of days. Totally worth it.
I was at this gig too, it’s in my top 2 live events of all time. They came out to Knights of Cydonia and the whole stadium bounced
I was at that gig too; I’ll be honest though, I don’t think that gig had the greatest atmosphere. I think Earls Court 2004 was much better.
@@keirlumsden what day did you go, and were you standing?
Yes, I was at that Wembley gig too, fantastic
Once you’ve heard Matt Bellamys intake of breath before every lyric, you can’t un-hear it…
Matt Bellamy must have done this as a tribute to his Father as it sounds like the Tornados Telstar and his Father played in that band.
Muse live are insane, seen them several times, including at a festival last month, never fail to impress
I saw them at the Isle of Wight festival this year and they were bloody incredible. And they played citizen erased and plug in baby 🤙😎
@@Andy-nl8uq yes! That's where I saw them! Epic!
Totally agree. You'll NEVER be disappointed ❤️
This concert of muse at rome is one of the best concerts ever. By any band. Watch the whole thing if you can
World class group
Muse are incredible. They have such a range of music and their talent is unparalleled. Definitely check out more!
First saw them in 1999, supporting Skunk Anansie, and they performed without all the lights, without most of the audience knowing who they were - they were just a three-piece - and young, to boot! They blew the audience away. Skunk Anansie were fabulous that night, Muse were mind-blowing.
Yes, I saw Skunk Anansie with Muse at Liverpools Royal court, thought they were decent and remember liking the song Uno at the gig. Then skunk anansie came on with Charlie Big Potato and were flippin great and probably part of why I can't remember much about what else muse played or their perforance that night.
I owe my neighbours an apology😳😂 This was so incredible I switched the volume up from 12 to 48🤣& yes this was on guitar hero! LOVE this song 👍👍 Try “Plug in Baby” next! It’s been ages since I’ve heard this & I forgot how good it is. Will use 🎧 to avoid noise complaints!
Do it, go down the muse rabbit hole! Amazing band, amazing lyrics, amazing live!
I still love Muse after nearly 20 years of listening. So many unreal tracks from Stockholm Syndrome to hysteria. Heavy hit after heavy hit ✊
They are all about EPIC. Muse have loads of good albums
Yep, rabbit hole. Hysteria is my favourite
Muse playing Stockholme syndrome live from las vegas is the best 🔥🔥🔥
Just 3 lads from Devon, UK, Geddon Bauys!! Epic!
Has to be "Butterflies and Hurricanes" live at Wembley.. Insane!!
i met the band in 1999 in a pub in Camden Town London when Matt the singer was only 17 & seen them many times & this song live is amazing.much love from Spain
Please go down the rabbit hole you will not regret it, I've seen them twice live they're the best
You have to see them live.. if you think they're good, they're 100x better live... even people I know who dislike them had to admit they were damn good live lol
They also just dropped a new video, go check it out 🤘
Never had much with Muse, but anyone can easily admit that this is absolute stellar stadium rock, and that this is a bang on performance.
Same, I appreciate how great they are, but they just don’t hit the spot for me for some reason. (Studio wise) this live was great.
You are absolutely correct, this song was on guitar hero
Muse were the first band to play the new Wembley stadium in 2007 and I was there and this song was at its best there
Definitely a rabbit hole worth going down.. they’re unreal.
100% recommend watching their live Hullabaloo 2001 concert, vocals are ridiculous
Best live rock band still performing in 2022
You must go to a Muse concert if you ever have the chance. They never fail to impress. There is a so much music from Muse you have yet to discover! 😊
My daughter has seen them twice and said they are incredible. I love 'Supermassive Black hole' 'New Born' , 'Plug in baby' and 'Undisclosed Desires'. Not forgetting 'Uprising'
if you decide to watch more, then please watch Assassin - Live at Mayan. Totally different song and in a smaller and more intimate setting
EDIT: Also this song is inspired by the lead vocalists fathers band, The Tornados or more exactly their number 1 (at the US Billboard) song called "Telstar" from the early 60s. The start was Man with an Harmonica by Enrico Morricone
Supermassive black hole is still my favourite.
They are the best LIVE English Rock Band since QUEEN!
"Time Is Running Out", "Hysteria", "Supermassive Black Hole" and "Feelin' Good".
Muse is kinda difficult to lit bangers for since you can fill multiple greatest hits albums worth. Heck, anything on haarp just for their earlier stuff is a good playlist.
Their new song is a masterpiece…. (Kill or be killed)
The opening harmonica bit is from Once Upon a Time in the West - a sergio leone western (amazing film)
The soundtrack is by Ennio Morricone❤️
@@matteopersico7756 Thats the one! Thanks
You know it’s good when you guys don’t interrupt 😉🤣
The guy laying on the ground is from a performance that was part of the previous song where the guy "dies" on stage at the end and he just kept laying there when the next song was played.
Saw them at Wembley back in the day, truly awesome. Black Holes and Revelations album is my favourite album of all time.
butterflies and hurricanes live is amazing and Hysteria !
Best live band! Just epic and so incredibly talented! ♥️🇬🇧
The lead singer is Matt Bellamy. His vocal range is amazing. Please check out more Muse, they are refreshingly different. Love the channel guys.
Best band in the world by a mile.
Finally you’re reacting to some GOOD music. About time!!!!
Plus… this is the first video of yours I’ve seen that you have watched
start to finish without stopping the video 😂
Muse - great musicians and good at putting on a big show. Stadium band.
You should watch that whole performance in Rome. Muse won an award for it
Great reaction guys. I saw Muse play last week in Madrid Spain. They were awesome
I'd suggest Hysteria is a great track to check out!
Muse have been around for that long now, they have 2 sides. Same could be said for Manic Street Preachers, both phenomenal bands
Muse can turn their hand to almost any musical genre... for the heavier stuff check Stockholm Syndrome and Assassins, a popular song is Plug in Baby. One that'll get you saying "Oh! So these are the guys who do this!", is Supermassive Black Hole.
Plug in baby was also epic!!! The whole concert in Rome is a must seen!!!
So glad you reacted to Muse, my favourite live band, I've seen them live 20 times so far, please react to Hysteria, The Handler, Citizen Erased, Plug In Baby, The Globalist, Reapers, Unsustainable to name a few.
I knew you'd like this...Muse are epic!x
Best live performance. They're not a band singing their songs, the putting on a complete show
This band is amazing they come from about 5 miles of where I live. So proud of them xx
And that is how it’s done . Great vid 👊😎
Welcome to Muse rabbit hole 🤘🏻
Muse are the greatest live act of the 21st century. Id recommend new born live at Wembley, stockholme syndrome live at Glastonbury 2004, plug in baby at the rome Olympic stadium and citizen erased at Reading 2015
yup, both the Glastonbury shows of 2004 and 2010 are legendary
As may be already mentioned. The first part is tribute to ennio morricones theme and a brilliant western ' once upon a time in the west' where Charles bronson is the man with the harmonica
Standing at the front of a muse gig is much like standing underneath a Saturn 5 taking off for the moon. They blow you away every time.
I cannot recall you guys ever getting through a video without pausing ever. They suck you in with their music and they are so diverse with each album that you can get lost in that rabbit hole.
Been to a wembley one never felt anything like it, the sound just emanates from your own chest fantastic.
Butterflies and Hurricanes. You wont regret it! Matt is not just the perfect frontman and guitar player. Watch this and check out the piano solo.
You haven't even seen the tip of the iceberg man. Muse are legends
Black Holes and Revelations is an epic album from start to finish. It's amazingly powerful.
So glad to see you reacted to this! One of my favourites. Others that I think are great personally: all live versions of Hysteria, Uprising, Supermassive Black Hole, Reapers, Survival...
Channeling one of the most iconic Western movies of all time at the beginning was a rather splendid move 👏
Muse might be the best live band I have ever seen (Reading Festival 10years ish ago!). Amazing light show to go along with their epic sound!
I was there too was 2011 so 11 years
They are an epic band live
You have to go see them this upcoming tour, you won't regret it!
Ennio Morricone's Man with a harmonica never fails to give my arms the goosebumps and make the hairs stand up,
Nobody better than Muse live, Starlight is my fave though, its amazing
YES. YOU DO NEED TO FALL DOWN THE MUSE RABBIT HOLE. I've been to hundreds of gigs over the past 40 years, and Muse are definitely one of the best live bands of all time. You'll be getting loads of suggestions here in the comments about what to listen to, and I would say yes to any and all of them. Keep up the good work guys. Sending love from Scotland 😎🎶🎸🏴
Was so excited to see someone watch and appreciate muse live for the first time. They’re on another planet live.
Watch Butterflies and Hurricanes live at Wembley (Matt is a demon on the piano too) - and Plug In Baby live at Rome - and anything else!
Absolutely a rabbit hole you guys should go down.
Ive seen muse 4 times, twice in the UK and twice in California. Matt Bellamy is a genius on the guitar and there sets are insane
Oh wow, my favourite song, wasn't expecting this!
Assassin at The Mayan and Reapers in Cologne are must reactions, 15 Muse concert veteran here.
‘Is this another rabbit hole we’ll go down?’… I know this video Hansen up a while, but yes, yes it is! I saw Muse live at Wembley about 10 years ago and it’s easily the best gig I’ve ever been to. Knights of Cydonia is my favourite song of all time…
Terrific gig. Pure Rock and Roll
Great reaction! Would love to see you experience more Muse. It's definitely a rabbit hole worth diving headfirst into :)
One of my favorite bands.
Jeez it's about bloody time you got to Muse! They just released a new song today - Kill Or Be Killed - you gotta do it! (nudge nudge you'll get a ton of views riding the wave). They rock harder than most bands out there, please PLEASE go down that rabbit hole you won't be disappointed. Oh and try to stick to live versions, they are even better live than in the studio!
bout time !! my favourite Band of my generation. Their work is my modern Queen version. They make me feel ALIVE!!
Brian May mentions that they are comparable to the Queen mindsef
If you want to listen to muse watch the opening of Reading festival on you tube. I think it's either 2018 or 2019. What a live performance opening with dig down. Spectacular!!!!
Check out Plug in Baby, and Hysteria, both from this live gig in Rome. The bass playing in Hysteria is an education you won't forget.
Another awesome video guys and i really mean that! You have triggered a memory so its Stella and Muse for me tonight. Big love from Yorkshire. Xx
Seen them live 4 times and they are as amazing live as it looks, there is definatly an operatic side to them, as well as shreading the guitar matt is a grade 7 pianist, check out space dementia for him going full on piano madness, but above all check plug in baby!
I went on a drunken view to find a reaction video of Muse. My god I lost faith in humanity. The worst of the worst CZcamsrs over reacting, pausing the song constantly to over react and plug themselves. I've heard tonight when the songs paused "this part reminds me of my music. I got to you dudes after I gave up. Then I realized I had fallen down a pott hole. CZcamsrs are more likely to get clicks if they make an almost CGI thumbnail making it look like they are soo shocked they want a blow job. I fell into that pit and realised that statistic is why I overlooked you guys. Didn't interrupt the song and naturally reacted. Props from England
Uprising is another amazing live song
every muse concert I've been to, they've played this as their closing encore song. and every time is just amazing
Oh please do more muse !
