growing up in the UK, we ALL have to have a thick skin, in my experience; as well as be able to laugh at ourselves. there's an innate sense, here, that if you can't laugh at yourself, you have no right to laugh at others
100%
Yes
👌🏻
I enjoy it. Keeps you grounded. I think it's the way we bond. The insults, if anything, are just evidence that the person is comfortable with you and is probably expecting a smart comeback! There's no malice.
There are as many Brits who can't laugh at themselves as anywhere else. Except maybe USA. It's not a typical British thing compared to other countries. You guys just think so
I think this is the most genuine Victoria has ever been in front of the camera..
They did a one off documentary of them at home, was years ago, they came across like a really normal family.
She is very funny in interviews, she has a dry sense of humour
I was just gonna comment about that, she's seen as cold, but that's pics taken by photographers mobbing her, watch that docu and you see the real side of her
Where's the rest! They were only taking a break, another 4 minutes of interview left! LOL 😄
We want more,
We want more,
We want more !!!
Thanks for the heads up
It’s the British sense of humour, you can’t laugh at others if you can’t laugh at yourself.
Shoutout to Daniel for noticing it’s Italy on the back of his tracksuit, not a lot of people notice that👏
It's being British that prepared them. Our humour, wit and banter can sound pretty harsh and aggressive to most outsiders. Though Aussies and the Irish get it. It's also pretty constant, so you're used to it by the time you're an adult and can probably give as good as you get. They're able to tell the difference between comedy and an outright personal attack. :)
There is a part 2 to this too, it’s only short but you should do that too. He also carries on that joke he did at the end too 😂
need to watch part 2 of this interview
This was for comic relief ( charity event ) wher celebs happily send themselves up , but you are right this is the only time iv seen her smile in public lol
This was petty awesome as it raised a ton of cash, I remember making a donation to comic relief that night after I watched this.
Comic relief is a big charity event each year to raise money for children's charities ( not sure if anyone outside of the UK even knows that ) :)
Self Aware Also known as Red Nose Day. I think it's unique to the UK.
Paul Kaye's alter ego, Dennis Pennis, would be a great choice for you guys to react to. He used to roll up on red carpet events and rip on Hollywood celebrities. Quick with the lines, and not something I could see anyone ever getting away with these days. Also, NOBODY seems to have reacted to him before, so it would be a scoop! :)
[Dennis Pennis to Demi Moore on the red carpet]: “If it wasn’t gratuitous and was done tastefully, would you consider keeping your clothes on in a film?”
I liked this Dennis Pennis joke: Why did the Supermodel stare at the Orange Juice Carton ? Because it said “Concentrate”.
Good shout. While this shows Brit on Brit the Dennis Pennis interviews (and Sach Baron Cohen when he went to the US) demonstrates how the give and take doesn't quite work across the pond. Somebody else mentions Hugh Grant's reaction which is where you can physically see that snap back into a UK mindset.
... with a disclaimer that they knew what they were getting themselves into to of course.
He was terrible. Not funny, just cringeworthy and insulting.
Paul Kaye as Strutter..
This is just half!!!
A general tip: if there is a longer and a shorter version of the clip you want - the longer one tends to be the better one.
If I remember right, this was the interview that turned people's opinions on Victoria and David. Before this, she had a reputation of being a stuck up snob and he had a reputation of being an airhead but this interview showed that they could not only understand the joke but laugh at themselves too. The fact that they didn't take themselves too seriously really endeared them to a lot of people.
This isn't the full interview guys! Only the first half of it ☹️
Thanks for doing this one though! I had requested it many times lol
This was brilliant, I remember it at the time, it totally turned my opinion of the two of them, ever since then I've really liked them but before they I never took to them much.
Sacha (Ali G) is a comedy genius. It feels like the 90s was the last era we really had good humour all round.
I'd forgotten how funny this was!
Remember watching this live and they came across really really well and got immense praise for it
So happy .. this is one of televisions finest moments for me
I have seen many American reactors react to this one and you guys are the first to notice it was a map of Italy on his back and not Africa, well done guys...good to see the American education system is not a complete disaster 😆😆
Victoria comes out of this really well
If you watch a couple of Victoria Beckham interviews she's actually got a great sense of humour, so no surprise to me that she did this Interview for comedy relief
Should watch Sacha Baron Cohen ‘Who is America’ he absolutely destroys American politicians it’s hilarious!
David went thro hell at one stage after he was sent off whilst playing for England during the world cup against one of our bitter rivals Argentina, we lost that match after he got sent off. Media crucified him and so did the fans. After that he became a national hero for his efforts in the England shirt. Especially when he scored the equalising goal against Greece to send us thro to the 2002 world cup.
This boosted the Beckhams popularity by a mile, we don’t have the tradition of the “roast” in the U.K. but we love it when high profile people are a good sport.
I've never paused and rewound (I'm old) so many times. A great video guys.
Would never have guessed Victoria Beckham had a sense of humour before this interview.
Hiya Mike, I thought Victoria was a lesbian 25 years ago
Gotta react to Elton John meets Little Britain for comic relief
Ali G Vets versus Veterans is a must watch clip. :)
I think this is only the first part of the interview, now your going to have to do the second 👍
I love your reactions, you need to do more Ali G for sure.
I came across your channel Boyz last night and you had me in stitches on reactions. I can't stop watching lol. Keep it up as this is one of my fav channels now much love
Much love man thanks for joining us on our journey!
Haven't seen that in years. Still as funny as the first time. 🤣
I agree generally that the US couldn't do this on US TV.
But Between Two Ferns gets pretty close. So don't despair too much.
Since you like Catherine Tate… you should check out her sketch with Daniel Craig for Comic Relief
Wait, what? This isn't all of it.
Posh's celeb mates always say that she has got the best sense of humour n this proves it.
I've never been a Spice Girls fan btw but I had to give her props 4 this.
That was time ago now (literally decades) but u wanna check out Ali G interviewing feminists and / or members of government around about the same time.
They don't have a clue as to who he is n u can tell that they are in fear 4 the future of GB!
The questions he asks....😲🤭😂
What I love more than anything is that if u grew up on a council estate over here...u would've met several Ali G's along the way. Legit thinking that they're bad-ass!!!!
Clueless but always parading their ❤💛💚!!!
Still, whenever someone cusses Posh off for her poutiness n lack of humour then this interview always springs to my mind.
Yeh,check out the feminism interview where he accuses them of all being lesbians.
Serious, he's done so many funny interviews....ya won't b disappointed in any of them.
He does not fail to produce...as do u Embrace The Suck geezas.
Tc. N I rate yous,ya make me laugh always!!!! xxxx
11:13 "keep my wife's name out your fking mouth!!!" immediately springs to mind 🤣🤣🤣
Haha dont know where you got this version but those czech (my country) subs made my day
I recently watched him act seriously in The Trial of the Chicago 7 and was blown away by his performance! (Golden Globe & Screen Actor's Guild nominated it was so good!)
Brilliant reaction! He's so very talented!
Yes this Beckham and Posh interview wasn't complete in this CZcams link
The Ali G, Borat and Bruno characters are all great but he also did a hilarious series called "who is America?" That may be of particular interest to you. It follows his usual theme of spoofing politicians, celebrities and the public but is filmed in the US.
I've been watching this genius since he began, one of his first is still my favourite! "Ali G tree protest" :)
Respect
Omg forgot how brilliant this it, they were such good sports here, raised loads for charity too ❤️
Crazy that two incredibly famous celebrities-easily the most famous British couple of the time-were _that_ nervous about doing an interview
They clearly knew who Cohen was
Please react to Borat on letterman. Thank you
Great video guys
Not seen this before! Scunthorpe lad dying laughing here!
This is one of the greats was hoping you’d find this.
Check out Little Britain meets Elton John another comic relief classic.
That's only part one of the clip!
this was a nice start, please go ahead, there's some other sick epic episodes to see 😂
so much quality ali g interviews! Ali G innit has some of the best stuff and bling bling which this is on has borat and bruno clips scattered throughout
Brilliant.
Check out some of the early episodes of trigger happy TV with Dom Jolly
Good call!
@@rorz999 thanks dude I was drunk Nd just remembered it . Their sre some chicken HIGNFY I want to suggest

.
@@TregMediaHD Safe,I ain't the only one who started early today!!! 🍷🍸🍷🍸😏
@@beckshanson5882 bro I live in Amsterdam
@@TregMediaHD Rah, I wish I did.
Enjoy a chilled sesh on my behalf.
Tc,geeza!x
My daughter is named Shea....I had been watching a documentary about the stadium!
It's was a teenage pop magazine that gave the spice girls their nicknames 'posh' etc. They didn't do it themselves.
There are four letters in scunthorpe that could get you In trouble.
I'd never noticed the jacket having the wrong place on it before!
Dan ... geography freak knowing it's Italy lmfao 🤣😂🤣
Lol not really a geography freak seeing as I have been put on blast not knowing where certain countries are. But thanks for the love man! -Daniel
Man I ain't heard you being put on blast for that but just crippled me when you said that lol. Dude your reaction to Ali ripping posh a new one was f'ing brilliant, love that you're really getting the Brit sense of humour lol
Ps... enjoy ya brunch bar for brecky
I love this video and this channel, but I had to stop half way through because I would have died laughing.
She was being a really good sport.
Part 2 would be nice
Ali G graduation speech at Harvard.
Really fun reaction like usual just a shame you did the shortened version of this.
If u liked this one, try the one of him playing Borat being interviewed by Graham Norton.
This was also a Comic Relief sketch aswell.
Thank you
Knew you'd love this. Don't forget to watch the second half.
Good to see you again. I went on vacation - or to put it another way, I unplugged and something epic! 😉👍
wait, this is not the entire thing?
Hey guys, would love to see Ali G interviewing Will Smith and his wife, now that would be TV gold.
Great post. I've seen it before but it's still great.
Try to get the comic relief clips with James Corden and David Beckham, also with James Corden as smithy.
They knew it was for jokes.
Comic Relief is an anual comedy event to raise money for charity.
David and Victoria are British so they was fully aware of who AliG is and what to expect. All 3 off them where where really popular Ali G in da house and spice girls where massive. It's funnier when he trolls America's
Back in the days when we used to buy things called magazines instead of just reading internet articles, I bought a copy of Loaded which was a popular choice amongst teenage boys back in the 90's 😉😉 It came with a free cassette tape of up and coming new comedians and one of them was Ali G, he was interviewing a British judge called John Pickles and it was yhe funniest thing I had ever heard, so I knew I had to watch it when I saw he was on TV.
Ali G movie is great. Martin Freeman, Office, Fargo and the Hobbit is amazing as a part of Ali G gang posse as is the photographer at the paper in After Life by Gervais. And he did a great graduation speech at an US university. Clip on CZcams.
We have a great ability to take the pee out of ourselves and each other. 😊 We also find it hilarious if people affectionately mock us. 😂
Please tell me you're going to do the 2nd part of this!
You missed the second half of the interview. They were just taking a break.
I don't know if you are aware, but Comic Relief was a yearly charity thing that had skits from some of the best of British comedy over the years. Blackadder, Doctor Who, all sorts did mini episodes, there are some real gems out there.
Talking about his characters, if you 2 haven't seen it yet, you NEED to see his Who is America program, he's ex mossad in it amongst various other characters.....👀🤷♂️😂😂
We just dont give a shit in the UK. Love a bit Ali G. You should react to the film Ali G in da house
Despite the set, this was not from the Ali G show. It was a thing done for the U.K.s charity fundraiser Comic Relief.
Watch the Ali G interview with Jacob Rees Mogg talking about class and the Tony Benn one too, and Donald Trump one talking about ice cream gloves
You should watch part 2
Check out part 2 of this. Very funny.
Greal vid, also have no idea why there were embeded Czech subtitles in it lol 🤣
React to " ALI G - IN WALES "
"ALI G - IN DA COUNTRYSIDE "
The bogs in the KFC LOL
THERE are PART II GUYS - After the break! It's just as good
But that’s the British culture , we take the piss out of each other. Siblings especially. Sign of affection.
"Let us know more clips....." - the rest of this interview, this is only the first half 😳
4:59 You're forgetting that she is British. The Brits don't get easily offended just like the Aussies.
the best thing he has done was the talk show scene from the movie Bruno !
Part 2?
Do part two
Loved this when it aired! Please can you teact to Bill Bailey meets Paul McCartney?
There are some great Ali G clips. But check out "Sacha 'Borat' Baron Cohen Asks Melanie "What Her Price Is" | Friday Night With Jonathan Ross" for some classic Borat
U guys need to review Bottom with Rik Mayall
Think this was half way through. They continue after the break
Shame you didn't show the second part(after the breast feeding break).
Brass Eye series is the originator of this type of comedy.
Another great Comic Relief video is Catherine Tate in "Lauren meets Tony Blair'
