Just imagine how many others there are out there...
Just imagine how crime would be different if we allowed it. No better person than police to know what’s needed. You have liberal judges weeks and months later from a court house free these criminals….police are on the ground smelling this stuff from the housing, clothes and food.
We're only hearing from the few that lived to tell about it. What happens in there has no oversight, which means there's a good chance they've murdered people in there too.
It’s really annoying when there’s stuff like this happening all the time and ppl will still come in and say “just comply” or something stupid like that.
A strip search still beats death, and at least they're around to sue.
@@marcushennings9513 no I get that.. if you have a gun in your face then yea, sue them later but if you havent done anything wrong and they just stop to harass you because they’re bored ppl say this. “What’s the big deal?” Blah blah “just let them search your car” no I shouldn’t have to. I have better things to do then sit and be interrogated for no reason.
@@hadleyslife7351that’s crazy how people say “ if you have nothing to hide then just let them search you and your property “. No thanks.
They are all just criminals so what is the problem? police aren't doing this to just anyone who isn't a known criminal
@@acgillespie they strip searched a woman and stuck flashlight in her holes and found nothing, and that’s ok with you?
That strip search policy is wildly unconstitutional. And what should be illegal is any off site location for bringing detainees. If you can't do it in a police station, you can't do it. We need a full FBI investigation into the entire police dept.
Do you really think that a police department that cared even a little tiny bit about your fourth amendment 5th amendment rights or any of your constitutional rights would build a separate warehouse where they can just take folks to talk?
It’s obvious this job attracts many sociopaths. Real psychological evaluation should be apart of the hiring process
Yes, that is well known. The psychological eval tries to weed out those applicants but many slip thru.
They do that but only upon entry. A lot of psychological changes happen while on the job and you’re never reevaluated. Police officers make the top of the list for people who suffer from PTSD and most times don’t seek the help or the department is underfunded and don’t have the help.
How many of these places exist in America? Put all officers involved strait in prison ASAP😢
A firing squad would be more suitable
Every Hospital in the USA has a room for matters such a this. It's amazing what people never remember while under sedation
@@acgillespie stay on the meds bud 👌
@@mwmnmwm I been clean n sober now for years. No toxins for me
There is no way the chief and captain did not know about that warehouse for the Brave Unit. That would cost something to keep up and running. Especially with security cameras and lights.
Punishment is for a Jury to decide not Law Enforcement.
Policy is not Law and will never extend to permit Cruel and Unusual Punishment! Or Unreasonable Search and Seizure.
These are Constitutional Rights. And are not subject to any Government Agency or "policy" in any way.
Juries decide whether a criminal defendant is guilty or not guilty. Judges decide punishment during sentencing in the event of a conviction. The exception would be in a death penalty case.
Local leaders knew of this theres no way they didn’t.
Why is this story not bigger. This is heinous! Can you imagine the sheer fear that must have gripped these victims being driven to an offsite warehouse where none of your lives one knows where you are and what’s happening to you. Every dirty violent cop involved including the superiors who knew what was happening needs to be fired and charged. This is insane.
Dollars to donuts those same police have murdered people in that building,
Could we all at least agree that this part should be defunded?
It needs to be investigated top to bottom for evidence of foul play. Its a black site operated outside the law and conveniently tucked away from scrutiny from the public and from any oversight. Meaning everything they can't do to someone in a county jail or police station is fair game in a place like that, including murder.
This country needs to be re-worked
We have a plan for that beginning on *Jan 20th 2025 @ 12:01 PM* you are either with us or against us. it's simply just a choice
@@acgillespie Sounds like a terrorristic threat. U gonna do what those trump supporters did with the capitol riots?

This is the kind of thing that makes me wonder why people immediately think it's bad when a cop is killed.

I'm done with 🐷🐷🐷
Yea, Imagine how our Police must feel everyday?
The news needs to stop referring to this secret torture chamber as "Brave Cave". Call it by what it is the Baton Rouge Torture Chamber. Why are those officers not immediately fired? If any citizen without a badge had done anything remotely this horrific they would be in jail. Not on a paid vacation while the chief tries to figure out how to get them off.
The worst part about your news reporting is how you're just trying to pin it on the one bad officer what in reality it's the whole department.
Agreed. Rotten to the core!
They know that they are dirty! You can tell by how fast they shut the program down.
CHIEF SHOULD BE FIRED
get an asian instead
Harris county houston does this too
That's terrifying. It's completely inconspicuous, I can imagine a few places not far from me that could serve as those.
Houston has it bad ! I’m shocked their departments aren’t under investigation. They are ruthless!
This is insane!
19 years of torture. Yeah, there are going to be more cases.
A lot of these pigs need to go to jail.
This is why we need people with military experience to deal with these dirty cops!
What makes you think the military is any better?
First of all, he should have nothing off site of the jail
It's supposed to be used as a narcotics warehouse for seized vehicles
This is some sketchy $hit.
OUTRAGEOUS!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬👺 Reminds me a video I saw of a woman being stripped searched by a male cop on the side of a road while cars are going by.
Close that place down Yesterday!! Fire those that allowed these unlawful practices and those that KNEW about these events and didn’t report them!! All these people were Complicit against the citizens of Baton Rouge and violated their civil rights and protections!
Absolute power (or the perception) corrupts absolutely.
vice versa. corrupts seek power
No corruption here in America's police departments. Nothing to see here. Might as well be in Irag, Iran, or Russia. The cloak is coming off America 's civil rights and the beacon of hope for all
BRAVE unit .... these sounds like cowards.
Get rid of those brave names
That is verry scary
None of them lawsuits were dismissed they settled all of them probably with non disclose order so they weren't exposed.
The chief new and so did everyone in leadership. They knew what was happening there for the last 20 years.
Cops resigned thinking they could go work for another police department but don't think about any indictments until it's to late for their career
Brpd, for you. Baton Rouge is bad and the cops are worser. Just imagine how the cops in b.r. were before cameras.
I got tortured by police before. Actually not even sure they were legit cops.
The Brave Cave?
America is Wonderful!
There's going to be all kinds of lawsuits from people that been there and that was tortured you can kiss the town goodbye there won't be any money left to keep the town going after all the lawsuits coming to them

And yet Russia and Iran won in Syria/Iraq.
Pathetic.
Alright, that's it, I'm done with 🐷🐷🐷 😂

Anyone surprised...?
but maybe if we just give cops more guns and money they'll just turn nice? right?
Didn't work. Louisiana has some of the highest crime and violence rates in the country
Yet they focus on drug use; a victimless crime. 💁
Man every cop should be indicted even the chief of police since he's the one that formed all this unit
That chief could care less. He's goin along with his guys. How the police gonna investigate themselves.
He pushed to fire those officers and have them arrested. He was also the one who got FBI involved to investigate.
Defund
Wow🇺🇸sick
Stop it
Typical they are investigating themselves.
Brave? What a Joke.
Work as a LEO even 1 week in BR and then come back and say that.
You won't.
Technically it was a police facility, just an extention with less oversight.
The oversight is the issue of the situation, numerous cities have off site areas because of distance to the main department and Yes sometimes the off site is less formal so it can speed up a investigation process to determine if a individual needs further processing.
But the problem arises is when officers forget Professionalism and integrity then with the lack of oversight these things become a problem like with the incidents in the news story, probably a few bad characters causing issues for everyone.
Look into butte montana true horrors fresh from nightmare on elm street taking place there 😢
Hahahaha so no one knows what happens in facilities that their city/department uses on a regular basis. That is a very backwards, because claiming ignorance does not mean they are not guilty.
Never admit knowledge or fault to anything. #1 Rule everyone should know. The Truth is what'll get ya all jacked up
I am starting to think Iran and Russia are right about us.
This country is messed up.
Then move to iran/russia. At least here u can CRITISICE the country and not be killed for it. So its infinitely better than those places, and for thinking they are right makes u an unbelievably stupid person

Huh? The chief is not aware? Bull
I for some reason don't see a problem with this... Too much crime in this country. Law abiding citizens are angry
What was taking place was criminal and against the law. The very core of the issue you speak of.
The main issue that started the investigations into the department was the dozen innocent individuals that were beaten, tortured, and illegally held in custody. That is not the law, that is the absence of law.
This should bother every red blooded American that holds the Constitution dear, that respects the natural rights declared within.
Lawlessness is not a solution to lawlessness.
If you don't see a problem with this, you are PART of the problem. You cannot break the law in the name of the law. Either that, or we are truly lost.
