Hi Andrew. Enjoyed the video. Great sketch of the tranquil location. Casein paint seems a very versatile medium with great affect. Credit due to the video producer. Cheers 😊.

Lovely painting Andrew - so talented. Love Charlestown! I have a long suffering husband, who has to film me whilst out painting plein air - when you walked over the bridge, it made me smile. 😊 Lovely video, thankyou 🙏💜

You've captured the scene perfect Andrew. Love Charlestown and the view to Gribbin Head we used to walk to that Daymarker from Foy some beautiful painting locations along the coastal path.

Glad you enjoyed it Keith - I forgot Gribbin Head was a Daymark. We've sat underneath it too, whilst having a rest with the kids when walking that coast path!

Another good 'un; I've yet to try Casein paints - I'll get around to it one of these days.

With casein drying quickly, do you have to be careful not to use your best brushes or are they fine as long as you rinse them off well immediately?

Brushes need to be washed well and I don't use my best ones with casein. I save those for watercolours

Hi Andrew, great vid as always. Interested why you use casein (as opposed to acrylic or gouache).

Thank you very much - I like it because when dry it is permanent and I can layer over easily
