My favorite is a Datejust 36mm with smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet. But I wear all my watches on leather strap. So for me definitely smooth bezel

They are all stunning watches and you are right personal preference dictates which is best. For me it’s sports watches on the oyster.

Although I disagree about which bracelet looks more formal I completely agree that the jubilee is more comfortable to wear. It seems to allow for better articulation. Could do a mini series on bracelets and bands alone if you ever got bored. All 8 watches I have are on metal. Wanna try a leather strap soon to get a feel for that. Rubber one on the Omega Semaster looks sharp too. I like options.

I own the Submariner Date 116610LN and the Datejust 126334 with the mint green sunburst dial and it’s the perfect combination imo. Sub is the daily and datejust fluted jubilee is for the weekends 💚

Datejust just looks better with fluted bezel and jubilee
I totally agree Edgar, the best combination by far in the Datejust range 🏆
There are as many people who genuinely prefer the smooth bezel over the fluted one. I have a Datejust blue 41 with a jubilee bracelet and smooth bezel which I bought by choice. It’s all about personal preference and aesthetic sense.

Not really for daily basis, too shiny on videoconference calls, fluted is a jewelry rather than a watch while smooth is framed as a casual low key chic watch tool.

I'm on the list for a Batgirl at My local AD and the guy I deal with is amazing .
I could of had the Batman 3 times over but for some strange Rolex reason not releasing many jubilees .
I have the Starbucks and sticking to what I want as I personally think it looks better on jubilee .

Heh funny - two Rolexes that i currently own are 126710BLNR oyster bracelet and 126334 Rhodium jubilee, exactly the same as in thumbnail. Amazing watches!

Have to say I feel a GMT is the best all rounder .. has sporty sub looks and a dressy yet comfortable bracelet. At the same time having a datejust and sub in the collection would be perfect too.

Is the Sea Dweller too big or thick to be an everyday watch in all situations?
It’s is a big watch but not too big for everyday. The Deepsea however is a much bigger model.

Only dress watch they make is the Cellini.
Every man should have (minimum) one daily watch like a Rolex sub and one precious metal dress watch like a DD.
If you have the money then buy whatever you want

Submariner date....all day long, classic, elegant and can be worn with casual or dress. Looks like most people like the sub non date...I don't get it - why not have the date as a nice reminder...I use it all the time.
It is an incredible model isn't it. YEs it is certainly 50/50 on date or no date, can't go wrong with either option!
Watches are not a investment buy what you like Rolex is way too expensive when over retail i think Rolex knows how to price there own Watches lol
Am I the only one who finds jubilee bracelets more sporty, in my opinion jubilee bracelet is very masculine. The other bracelets are subdued! Still nice but subdued!

I agree, a Tudor Black Bay 41 does the job for sporty look like the Sub for half of its price and with Rolex quality behind
Datejust with Jubilee and fluted looks better than Batman imo.
