  • Steroids, when misused, can have detrimental effects on health. Excessive use can lead to serious side effects, including liver damage, cardiovascular issues, hormonal imbalances, and mood disturbances. Long-term use can weaken bones, suppress the immune system, and negatively impact fertility. It's important to use steroids only under medical supervision and for legitimate reasons to avoid these potential risks.

Really? Food kills hundreds of thousands of people a year from heart disease, strokes, cancer, etc so do they suggest people shouldn't eat food? Doctors know a little bit to nothing about steroids, for an example a MD only receive about 4 hours of study about hormones, not true about steroids messing up with the brain, in fact testosterone deficiency does cause depression, low energy, no sex drive, heart problems, etc, bodybuilders don't get heart disease from taking steroids, large amounts of food and overweight is the cause of heart issues just like a non Bodybuilder person who over eats and is overweight no difference. Only oral steroids cause liver damaga not injectable steroids because they bypass the liver, you'll never hear about bodybuilders suffering from liver issues that's a lie. Kidney failure is another lie that isn't caused by steroid use it is because of diuretics and no roid rage , lack of testosterone makes men docile so taking steroids makes men like it's supposed to be by nature more aggressive than women. Infertility? Most bodybuilders have children, yes sperm count goes down during steroid use but you don't need to have millions of sperm to get a woman pregnant, you only need one 😂😂 worse case scenario we bodybuilders use clomid and HCG to counteract that side effect and tendon issues are caused for heavy lifting because the muscles become stronger than the tendons but it isn't a direct cause by steroids. Doctors exaggerate, if a man wants testosterone because hecis deficient they make a big deal scaring the patient but if a transgender woman wants to be a man she gets it without a problem. .🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

That's actually the least of your concerns. You will have abnormal heart beat for the rest of your life. Higher risk of heart stop, higher risk of blood clots forming inside your varicose veins, organ failure, your genitalia shrinks permanently, your hormones get thrown away which multiplies your cancer risk, higher blood pressure, higher probability of loosing your hair (which is naturally irreversible), and of course higher chances of psychotic attacks and early dementia. Brain ages very fast when your organism is under roids. It's so many negative, deadly side effects that shows how stupid a guy can be to take such a poison for a few years or months of his life. As someone who got on TRT with 140 mg test cypionate a week, yes, the psychiatric disturbances are a real problem, even in replacement doses. Androgens downregulate serotonin. To counteract it I take SSRIs like fluvoxamine up to 300 mg a day, but still gets to me some times. I make sure to never take AIs or SERMs.
I am talking anxiety, OCD, irritability, agression, violent ideation, paranoia, impulsive behaviour, etc. Not good stuff. Anxiety attacks too. I have a theory on another reason this might happen appart from the serotonin downregulation, which is that because the testicles shut down, your blood circulating DHT levels might drop (which also affects your brain levels of DHT, since androgens easily cross the blood brain barrier), and DHT is important for preventing anxiety and having good humour. My theory is that this happens, even though you might have good levels of DHT in the skin with increased body hair growth. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I have a lot of symptoms of low DHT while ON TRT (I have never taken 5 alpha reductase inhibitors). And androstanolone as injectable medication is impossible to find. Just sharing this so you don't do steroids if you don't explicitly need them. It is for life a lot of times because of testicle shutdown, it's worse than they tell you, believe me (I tried to get off TRT 3 times, I felt absolutely terrible and weak). You are not special.
Edit: I am no longer going to edit this comment, unless it is for spelling errors. I dont want it to get too long. Hopefully I got my point across.

It’s crazy because when you watch tv commercials of like any prescription medication, the side effects listed are often way worse than what those doctors just said. I wonder if they give the same warnings to young women who want to transition to men. They put em on steroids too. Obviously steroids can be dangerous but when used responsibly (monitoring bloodwork, checking BP, not taking massive amounts etc), the side effects of steroids can be minuscule compared to some of the prescriptions these people have to offer.

TRT is actually detrimental. After taking steroids from a lab which are not formed in your organism you will have several risks to be aware of, it's literally life-threatening. If you take the same amount that your organism naturally creates that's already making your hormones go crazy. As you can see a very small dose is enough to have a bad effect. You will have abnormal heart beat. Higher risk of heart stop, higher risk of blood clots forming inside a varicose vein, organ failure, your genitalia shrinks permanently, your hormones get thrown away which multiplies your cancer risk, higher blood pressure which is specially dangerous after a certain age, higher probability of loosing your hair (which is naturally irreversible), and of course higher chances of psychotic attacks and early dementia, look up for any genetic factors like family members who had anything. Brain ages very fast when your organism is under roids. It's much better to live like people in the Mediterranean, one of the places on earth with higher life expectancy, and one of the healthiest diets. Colesterol begins to adhere since your are little, everything you consume matters, and it's irreversible, take your body seriously, you only have one, how long it endures depends only on you

Exactly, Food kills hundreds of thousands of people a year from heart disease, strokes, cancer, etc so do they suggest people shouldn't eat food?
