Cannula Placement in a Post-vitrectomy Eye

This is a vitreoretinal surgical technique that I discovered a few years ago for facilitating the placement of cannulas in eyes that have had a previous vitrectomy (since the absence of a vitreous plug allows intraocular fluid egress through the infusion line when subsequent cannulas are placed).
