- Mongolia used to be a big white spot for me on the map, it always inrigued me, and finally I am here! I started my trip on the border with Mongolia in Russia - Ulan Ude, the capital of Buryatia republic. Then headed to Ulaanbaatar and further to the steppes to stay with a nomadic family and learn about country's Soviet heritage and nomadic traditions.
I've always dreamt about traveling in Mongolia, and it wouldn't be possible without

Eli from RUSSIA . Thank you . I am from DJIBOUTI and I live in SOMALILAND .
Dear Eli. It is perfectly OK, to do what you feel, no matter what other people think you should do.
For me are videos about Paris or San Francisco boring. And i am happy, that there is someone like you, who is showing us "russian world" from Black see to Kamchatka. Including ex-soviet countries and countries which were part of that "russian world" , like Mongolia.
Because of your videos, i am not "average idiot" fed by dumb western TV propaganda about Russia (drunk illiterate gopniks, poverty, dry toilets,...), because you are showing that regions as they really are.

Eli, if I could, I would nominate you for a UNESCO ambassador. Your videos are so refreshing and alive. They are also one of the best windows to the diversity of this world. Greetings from England 🏴, thank you for making and sharing this amazing video, Mongolia looks absolutely beautiful. I think you’re far cooler than you may think, travelling to Mongolia is much better than travelling to European capital cities or visiting America in my humble opinion.

Eli you present these topics like a seasoned TV reporter! Bravo. It is very interesting to watch your videos!
Loved the landscape videography along with the traditional Mongolian throat-singing music! ❤And LOL at the cat who disrupted the entire conversation with the nomadic man! 😃

Such beautiful souls, thank you Eli for showing the true meaning of the word 'diversity'
Superb Eli! The aerial shots were nicely integrated. I traveled there for two weeks by train from Beijing on the way to Moscow in 1992 just after the USSR had collapsed and their economy was in shambles. We had to sneak our relatively fresh food in from China and eat in basements while in the capital but everyone was so resilient and hopeful. I could tell so many great stories form that land. Our driver was drunk all the time and lost but there was nothing to crash into on the steppe so we drove from Ger to Ger (Yurt) asking for directions and became guests automatically. They plied us with fermented horse milk before sending us off again so we were always drunk too!
This one is a special one Eli. Thank you!

Over 8 million displaced persons and refugees,
not to mention thousands of civilian casualties, cities and civilian infrastructure razed to the ground.
More than two years have passed since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Russian propaganda is gratuitous in its malice, but life has a price and is based on the defense of peace, truth and justice.
Any comments, Elina Bakunova?

Ne fais pas attention à ce qu'on te dit. La Mongolie est aussi interessante que Paris. Chacun a son charme! Merci beaucoup à toi de faire ces reportages avec des contacts étroits avec les gens locaux.
Sadly beautiful France has a blot on the landscape ( people in tents sleeping in the street). Mongolia will never have that.
Hi Eli. thank You SO much for this fabulous experience!!! It was a great Joy to watch this video from Mongolia. The people and scenery were gorgeous and we especially loved the Mongolian hilltop Soviet museum! Please show more such beautiful museums that show the wonderful history of the Soviet Union. With Love from Canada :)
