Eli from RUSSIA . I like your videos . I love RUSSIA . Could you come to my Djibouti ?
Look at you! A true winter warrior. A great display of the fire in your spirit. 😍
I don't know why but every time I'm about to watch those videos, many coincidences related to them are staged here.

Super Girl is a red head! Wow, Eli, as I watched you bathing in the cold river I was shivering in my chair. Your Mongolia films are incredible. Well done and thank you for sharing with us around the world. You are one of the best travel video makers on CZcams.
As a Vietnamese 🇻🇳 Buddhist, I appreciate the great effort for Eli to go to such remote place in Mongolia 🇲🇳 in such extreme cold 🥶 weather, just to show us viewers the almost forgotten monastery. Eli, may Lord Buddha bless your travel journey whatever you go in Russia 🇷🇺 & elsewhere in the world🙏🙏
I am from India which is bordered Nepal where Buddha (Siddharth) was born ,my village is located in bodh gaya where Buddha was supposedly enlightened, as far as my knowledge goes , Buddhists don't worship Buddha as God nor regards him to be one, he is neither consider to be Lord nor god and he is now dead ,so how can he bless ?
@@mandalorian3865 He mirrors your true nature, which is that of a Buddha. So all Buddhas can bless us potential Buddhas. And they do, I can assure you😊
Your country is just exiting from 40C or 106F wow...boiling hot.
Eli continues to try to turn herself into an icecube --- It doesn't seem to hurt her --- I enjoy Eli's videos that show us distant places that I will probably never visit ))
I read "icecube" and pictured Ice Cube the rapper hahahaha

@@markbernier8947 that's why I said I read it that way.
Thank you Eli for your documentary from Mongolia 🇲🇳. I am really longing for your reportages.
Thank you! You keep me motivated to make more videos!

One of the incredible thing about Elina is her capacity to do something new every time, and with a different touch; she was born to communicate.
Eli, you just went EXTREME. I couldn´t believe how comfortable you were inside that water. Feeling cold just watching here from Brazil.
Heyy
Strong healthy Eli, taking a bath in icey river. Fans would not survive this freezing cold. God bless you with perfect cold resistance.
She is indeed very healthy. Too bad I'm stuck in US.
beautiful The best travel show on the web. Who else would bring a swim suit to Mongolia in the winter.
Always bringing my swim suit just in case!
Me. Cold plunges will do wonders for your health. 🫶
@@ElifromRussia Smart girl 😉...God bless u,Eli!!
She just knows people want to see her in a swim suit
Eli is just a very special person : I have not seen anybody else granting us such interesting and enriching vlogs on Russia here on utube, period!
Plus she puts great editing work in her uploads, the sounxtrack is always dope.
OMG, I have such a crush on the woman... to cry for... tears of joy 🤗
Первый раз попал на канал, очень хорошую работу делаешь Элина. Продолжайте, действительно здорово❤
Спасибо большущее!
6:23 The tent looks like a work of genius too. Modern technology for a quick set-up and takedown structure. In 1912 when my grandfather was doing surveyor work in Montana through the winter, it could get down to -50 Fahrenheit before wind chill. My grandmother said that to keep a household going and keep two babies alive, even with a heated stove tent, they had to keep quilt blankets for flooring about 8 inches thick.
Eli: The narratives and photography describing the salient aspects of the places you travel to truly distinguish you as an accomplished travel documentary filmmaker.
What ? -40 ? I can even imagine how cold is it . MONGOLIA ? I grow up in one of the hottest place on Earth ( Djibouti ) . Totally , where you are . Thank you , Eli . Sweet love from AFRICA .
Thanks, cheers!
We've had as low as -65 in CANADA as of last year!
@@melanielucas9219 I agree with you, I'm Canadian also.
I use Fahrenheit so I don't know what these temperatures mean. But it definitely gets below 0°c here in Chicagoland.
@@Ozark-nq9uu one thing for sure is that -40c is equal to -40f. As a UK person, I have a basic understanding of fahrenheit; I know what the freezing and boiling point of both, and I know what 100f represents.
You "chilled" in the waters as if you were in a jacuzzi. Very hearty abilities, El's. 💯💙🏄♀
Greetings from England 🏴. Really interesting video, very informative. I very much admire you getting into the cold 🥶 river!! Great content yet again.
Awesome, thank you!
I was really impressed when your guide walked into that river. Really impressed until Eli got in and stayed in, like it was a swimming pool. Thanks Eli
absolutely stunning. I love this format.
Thank you so much!

Outside the US nobody knows how hot/cold that is.
@@dw4956 I too am from New England but to make it easier for you they’re saying the cold gets -23 C and the summer is 43 C
Love your videos Eli. Because of you and a couple of Nordic CZcamsrs I started adding a cold bath 🛁 a few times a week. However, the water isn’t. 1 degree but it’s cold enough to shock my system to what I am use to. Thank you for your Beautiful videos and showing us cultures I wouldn’t have known about. Blessings to you.
Wow, keep going, cool!
well, fresh water doesn't get much colder than 1 C even at altitude.
Fantastic content Eli.... 🎉
Mongolia 🇲🇳.....
You are so brave and also such courage for that freezing water....
But I do admire you Eli....
❤❤❤❤👌👌👌👌🎊
Thank you! 😃
Your tour guide/narrator is great!
Thanku 🥲
13:22 The water isn't frozen over because it radiates and convects enough heat upward to melt any potential ice. This can happen at even -90 degrees Fahrenheit when water is flowing, like outdoors in nature or keeping a faucet on during the winter so pipes don't freeze. The trick is in the motion of the water and its carrying a supply of heat as it goes, as in 15:12 "there's a current." Without the current it would freeze over quickly. Lots of Jack London stories about the phenomenon, including what happens when snow appears to cover over a hole in the ice and an unsuspecting person stumbles through. See for instance "To Build a Fire" or watch the video version. It is possible this is near where a spring comes to the surface and starts flowing as a small creek, so it might be the leftover summer warmth of the planet that is coming to the surface in winter on top of the water being in motion. If so, the water would be about 50-55 degrees Fahrenheit where it first emerges. That's 10-13 degrees Centigrade or Celsius.
Mongolia clearly needs Russian gas to replace coal for heating.
I also have loved to dip in cold water & to run around barefoot in the snow. I see that you are becoming adapted to the icy dips since you joined the Walrus group. I love traveling the remote places in Russia with you. Please continue travels in your homeland, you have much to be proud of & you are excellent at this!
Eli, you definitely have vodka in your veins! It never ceases to amaze me how humans can not only adapt to different environements, they are content with their lives and cultures. Happiness can be found on many different levels. These videos provide us a much needed view of worlds different than our own. Differences should be admired and enjoyed, not ridiculed and destroyed.
Ms. Eli you are a stronger person than I am. Even when I was young cold was never my favorite weather. I get chilled just watching your winter videos.
Eli u are an amazing person! Thanks for showing us certain parts of the world some of us will never get to experience. May you find peace, continue purpose and happiness. Thanks for leaving the lights ON!
Видеонд баярлалаа.\\Спасибо за видео.
This is quality Journalism.
Good Job Eli!
I’ve been in -40dC before and at no time did I ever think ‘hey, let’s go for a swim’
Kinda wish I did now.
I’m sure I’m more glad I didn’t
-40 degrees is the same for Fahrenheit and Celsius. No need for the 'C'.
For science nerds, this is an interesting point: -40° is the crossover point on the Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature scales. So, -40° C = -40° F.
We get -40 ° F in Colorado and sometimes Colder and Wyoming is colder
-40° C with low humidity is very dangerous - you can freeze your fingers and not notice it
You need humidity to notice fingers.?
When windy in -40 it senses as -60C
Suppose saying Eli is a gem, we all know that. This video is recommended forr a hot day in Summer. I almost feeling the cold.
Thank you Eli, what a wonderful experience you allowed us enjoyed, I felt like I was there, so much peace , you're amazing my dear Eli, and nope... No, your not Russian agent, everything you do is by your own, Love you Eli, 🙏💐😎🥰😸👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💪💪👍
That ice river bathing was pretty amazing to watch, nowadays it seems even rugged men in the west cannot handle cold like that.
Thank you for taking me to places like that😍
My pleasure 😊
Instead of dipping in a frosty river, maybe I can turn the shower cold for about 30 seconds.
i hear ice baths have great benefits but i can hardly take a cold shower for a 30 seconds 😂 maybe im too spoiled w hot water
Hello Eli, it is always a very good day whenever you share all your travels with your unique and fantastic touch... keep it up! greetings from 🇲🇽
A temple in middle of no where, people dedication is really something else.
Absolutely fantastic, off the beaten track of even being off the beaten track. Love how Eli was actually able to talk while laying in the water like it was nothing, just really showing off ;^) Great tent too. Where did the guide learn his English? Liked his smarty "Why not? It's good" but maybe because separate soup and tea would cool off faster?
Love that the temple was rebuilt. Great video.
Incredable how you can embrace the cold and relax yourself in the cold water. Another interesting documentry of a far away place.
Thank you for this video and all your other ones as well. I get to see exotic places I would never have the opportunity to visit. I admire your spirit and your ability to withstand cold!!
Those fully snow-covered landscapes look like seen in a science fiction movie, and the amazing drone shot makes the video perfect. Although I've seen videos and documentaries about Mongolia before, it was a new experience for me to see snow-covered Mongolia. ❤️
Eli, thanks for sharing 🤝
Excellent video Elina 😊!!! Thank you taking us along on another one of your Excellent adventures!!! Stay safe out there and enjoy many happy trails 👣!!!!
Thank you Miss Eli! Wonderful content as always!
Thank you too!
Wow!
She is a trooper!
The benefits of the plunge are awesome.
It gets quite cold here in the Western Cape, South Africa, but that cold and jumping into ice water is absolutely mind boggling!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this beautiful experience.
Eli, you should make a winter themed swimsuit calendar 😊
Great idea :D
I can’t imagine how cold this must feel! Amazing images of the monastery, thank you. Cheers from São Paulo Brazil 🇧🇷
You amaze me. You are certainly an intrepid traveler. Thank you for another fascinating video.
my days of even thinking of doing this kind of adventure are behind me. props to you for partaking in this experience.
Eli I must say I'm always impressed as to how much you embrace the locals and there traditions.
This time above and beyond staying in a tent and dipping in an unfrozen river one simply can't imagine -40°C

Eli stays in the river for a long time!
Good job taking an almost freezing water bath! Since UK is quite far north, our oceans still feel freezing, even during the summer. Also, a pink bikini suits you well!
another awesome Episode. love ya Eli
Wow Eli! You have really mastered the art of ice bathing. I remember seeing your first attempt a few months ago and now you are expert at controlling your breathing and your mind. Fantastic! And, I visited that same monastery in 2005. It really is in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Such an incredible place. It looks like they've done a lot of ongoing work to repair and renew it. It is wonderful that the Mongolian people are revitalising their culture in this way. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Of all the places I've visited, Mongolia made the most profound impression. I've been there twice now. It is incredibly special.
What a great exemplar you are, taking that dip 'in stride'!
Absolutely Amazing !!!! Thanks a lot. You are great!!! Greetings from Mexico City.
Thank you so much for your videos! I really enjoy watching all of them and appreciate the time that goes into making them! Such wonderful work!!☺️
Thank you for showing the beauty and majesty of the world in your humble and graceful way. It´s human. Stay healthy and never give up. The East is wonderful!
I love how you can just relax in a cold stream in the middle of the snow in just a swimming two-piece as if it's just a normal custom. You likely would do it naked if it wasn't for the camera lol.
I really enjoyed this video. Thanks to yo and your your guide/friend for exposing us to Mongolian traditions. Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Amazing video Eli with beautiful images. The cold I can scarcely comprehend. the ice bath I can scarcely comprehend. it was very interesting to hear you talk to Mongol people about their lives, history, customs, religion and everyday life. Thanks for a most interesting Journey. John Lampe, sunny Perth, Western Australia.
That was awesome! I watch your videos on a 65" television and I highly recommend that to others to really get a feel for the landscape. Awesome job once again!
Wow, thanks!
I have camped in cold weather, down to -48 degrees, but your cold bathing tolerance is beyond impressive. Wim Hof level!
Eli must have very strong lungs!! That guy barely dipped, and Eli just chilled!!😄😄
Bravo Elina you are very strong.
Awesome watching young people take pride in their culture and traditions! Thank you! God bless!
