  • Bashkortostan is home to Russia's biggest ethnic minorities - Tatars and Bashkirs. The Bashkirs are a Kipchak Turkic ethnic group, indigenous to Russia and they speak Bashkir language, a close relative of the Tatar language. Once Bashkirs were nomadic and they were incorporated into the great Mongol Empire, but then they joined Russia! They traditionally practiced agriculture, cattle-rearing and bee-keeping. The nomadic Bashkirs wandered either the mountains or the steppes, herding cattle, and even now people identify strongly with their village and regard this as the main social unit.
    I will show you the capital of Bashkortostan - Ufa and introduce you to the Bashkir national costumes, songs and dances. And, I will also introduce you to my Tatar family who lives in Bashkortostan!

      @Irina-iw5ji Před 4 měsíci +4

      No one is judging the people but rather the government. You also shouldn't be so negative to put down westerners they have done nothing wrong, never heard of them speak about these people or even know anything about this people. I myself from eastern Europe didn't know a lot of the stuff Eli shows and it is interesting. We can learn a lot about different cultures but it is also ok for those who do not accept the other cultures. People are allowed to not connected with every culture they see. Don't be cruel to others but not accepting to me is ok as well. I think accepting all cultures is a lie and what makes us forced to not have a say in things. Certain videos I have seen I do not agree with the culture at all, but the scenery is absolutely beautiful.

They were there for about 80 years and left in 1876. We have grown to many thousands of people that came from Crimea living all across Canada and Paraguay and Mexico. I believe we all want to live at peace with Russia, despite our government. Kudos to the young Chef

      @@ElifromRussia We tried the feminist experiment in the USA, long before Russia & much of the world did & it has brought nothing but disaster. We now know, that our women were manipulated by the marxist control system & media, to believe that career, money, & being independent from men, would bring them true happiness. Now our women are suffering more than ever, with record alcohol & drug abuse, sleeping around, std's & a massive increase in divorce and suicide. The solution is simple but difficult to achieve in 2022. Life should be simple = AFTER MARRIAGE = men should work and earn the money for the family & women should stay at home & take care of their husband and offspring. Sex before marriage, is one of the worst ways to injure women & men. After thousands of years, this formula has worked successfully, & almost anything else will just bring (GREAT) unhappiness.

    Thank you to your grandmother for chopping wood and enduring all kinds of hardship as a 16 year old girl during the war to save the world from fascism. Her sacrifice and the sacrifice of the countless millions will never be forgotten. By the way, I’m partly Turkish from Ankara, and I’ve understood 75 percent of everything that this amazing woman has said in that short interview.

      This comment does not represent the state of humanity in its entirety but it does unfortunately represent a significant part of it. It is important to recognize that.

      You’ve misunderstood what the narrator said. Her grandmother is 83 years old, which means she was born in 1939/40. She lived through WW2. She was sent logging in Moldova when she was 16. That would have been the mid 1950s.

      @@kazimierzgaska5304 Well, if you want to live in globalist, western-media brainwashing, the Soros sponsored Trudeau dictatorship, then feel free to bless Canada yourself. Aside from some positive aspects of this country, it has eroded on every level over the last 8 years. Russia has always been and will always be the greatest country in the world, its arts, history, literature, classics, its monasteries and Orthodox churches, rivers and skies.... If I only spoke Russian, I would have moved there is a second.... So far only passed Level 1 of the Russian language course... so we'll see!

Just look at how many comments are from Incels commenting on her beauty, then think of Russia's history using "Red Sparrows" like Marina Butina.
