All northeastern people originated from China. British only came in naga hills during the mid 19century only and many people referred British documents about the origins of Nagas. Infact, the presence of northeastern people in the Naga hills were centuries way back before the British invasion.

Naga and Zo, the biggest trouble makers who are still giving sleepless nights to Indian government. One interesting difference is that though Nagas have different origin stories, totally different languages and migration still maintain unity and oneness but Zo people who have the same ancestor, same languages, folk songs, origin and festivals are so divided. They still cannot agree what to call themselves Chin, Kuki or Mizo. Must the the only people in the world with more than 3 names.
