    I can't stop watching videos of this car. That is absolutely the most beautiful 2nd generation Camaro I've ever seen. That blue/black combo is killer!

    Damn I can't stop coming back to this video. Doesn't help that CZcams recommends it every time I watch any video about anything. I just saw one that was a 73 and was like an off white with black stripes. I love this one the most. Just saw a metallic green with black stripes 70-73 Camaro yesterday and it was beautiful.

    When my mom was 17 her dad, my grandfather, restored the same camaro depicted here. They found it in a junkyard it was only 9 years old but it was in bad shape. He is a die hard ford fan and said that would be the only chevy he would ever work on. She still has it to this day in our garage, only needs a little tune up and some paint. Blue with white racing stripes. Beautiful car, only problem is I'm not aloud to drive it!

    I had a 73 Camaro RS Type LT. I remember more upgraded woven fabric seating. These look like standard Camaro seats.

    If 73 & 74 are the only years to get LT Z28 options then 73 stands alone with the LT, RS & Z28 options. Great looking ride.

    • @zephead4835
      @zephead4835 Před 26 dny

      I thought that the Type LT replaced the rally sport. So I'm thinking Z28 rally sport type LT is a bit much. Either way it's a beautiful second gen Camaro.

    • @haroldstrickland8416
      @haroldstrickland8416 Před 25 dny

      @zephead4835 The RS was brought back in '75 while the Z28 disappeared until '77. 70-73 RS cars are easily spotted due to round park lights & split bumpers.

    @ericou812 Před 8 lety +3

    if it has the split bumper it has the z22 code or RS option,The Super Sport model was dropped, but it was replaced with the Stylish Type LT model. The Type LT could be ordered with RPO Z28, and if the Rally Sport option was also ordered, you could have a Type LT/RS/Z28 camaro

    My first cousin had one in back in 1983. I thought was going to be mine--lol! It was so beautiful! However it was kinda candy apple red...not sure the color Chevy called it. The LT means it has the upgraded LT-1 Motor with better heads and cam.

    • @coop4274
      @coop4274 Před 3 lety +1

      Wrong. The LT option was a luxury package NOT anything to do with the engine. In fact the LT1 was gone by 1973. Last year they offered it was 1972.

  • @incompetentobjectivist3850

    Glad the original tranny was kept! Tremec truly is an upgrade, the Ancient Egyptians knew about mechanical advantage, sad auto makers did not utilise overdrive earlier. All that sound insulation and LT package=unnecessary weight on an already heavy car. Does that hood close better?
