Great video. I will add once the power is reconnected it will likely trigger the SGM (security gateway monitor) in the vehicle thus losing many functions like backup camera, temperature controls, passenger heated seats, and Uconnect will lose half the features. I’m called Uconnect, they were clueless. The solution is patience. Everything came back within a few hours good as it was. Might take longer for yours, but from what I’ve researched it’s extremely common.

Can you still get the battery out if you have manual seats that do not tilt ? Mine has 2 batteries in there which makes it real fun . I have seen a couple of vids that say to remove the 4 seat bolts and tilt it "backwards" .

Thanks for the video - I have the battery bracket out, vent tube disconnected, negative terminal off, but I can't seem to get the wire disconnected from the negative terminal @ 3:10 mark, does it just pull off or does it have a release, I don't want to break anything.

I had power though for couple days tell a short or something and everything was dead. Only thing that wrked was power seats I wonder if that because you need to move seat to get to battery.

As long as it's not exposed to crazy high temps not much it'll just decrease the life of the battery. By how much I'm not sure.
