@@POOPGOD999 Honestly? Not to this extent. I've seen degrees of false advertising in mobile games before but none have been just a straight up lie like Evertale. They are marketing a completely different game than what you actually play.
mobile ads aren’t regulated like normal tv commercials and they make a ton of money for lying, so they’ll continue to do it until the law prevents them or it stops being profitable

I have a theory and the ad's are just the background, or the past, because there is no creepy things on the game just the ad's, and looking at the pic of gameplay in the playstore you can literally see the glitching character, blood splatter, and the most thing is it doesn't have a gameplay video but in the game itself is just look like a friendly game, the ad's are just the one that gives the horro-, wait what if the ad's itself is the actual horror, it might be the past, the background, or the future,
