What are the dimensions of the box? The space behind the firewall on the SL is pretty cramped. If it wouldn't fit there could it be ordered with a longer wire to fit in the trunk?
Have a cl600 2002 v12 ..you have any coil packs laying around??? And would not having the ground wire to the coilpack make the car not crank..? Think the last mechanic didn't hook drive side ground wire back to coil pack
No, check all the yellow 20A fuses on the passenger side - under the hood. If your OBD reader doesn't work then you have a blown fuse that will prevent the car from cranking. Transformer and packs have nothing to do with cranking the engine. The engine firing is a whole other issue..

How about an engine swap harness/PCM, so we can put these monster V12's into project vehicles?
That would be a nightmare ! Junkyards.....
Do a Standalone ecm and make your own harness then you can get rid of the whole garbage ignition system and run better coils.

I have a mostly stock '87 turbo Limited. Very rare.
I just sold my '05 S600tt because I didn't trust it, mostly because of the ignition system.
I don't know that I'm capable of doing a stand alone system like yours from scratch

I purchase a coil from u.. Work great.. But one day I pull really hard an my 04 cl600 went limp mode and threw code (pedal etc and throttle body) esp malfunction etc... Car limp mode.. I replace new pedal cleared code and replace throttle body ebay. 3 different one ... There are no code now but the idle surges and limp mode.. Help? Wasted whole summer sitting.. Car only has 80k
I have seen voltage transformers fail to produce enough current and never throw a misfire code. Without the right eyes on your car you'll have to try swapping out parts and see what works. @@clarkrupp do u know replacing use throttle body ok does it have to be progrAm... The esp malfunctions is on but no code.. Car surges idle and limp..
@@keepinitrealTRUTHFUL No programming for TB. Look for vacuum leaks and quite buying used crap unless you know exactly what you're looking for. Too many crooks out there!

@@MrBobbo18 If you have a bad pack on the car the fuse may have blown a fuse. If all four lights are on the Boost Box is functioning perfectly.. Call me and I'll walk you through it. Shorted pack may have a blown a fuse on the car and killed the 12v to the box. That's why the lights are there..
Don't WORRY David. SIRR RUPP(as I call him) gets that ALOT! I AM THE DIRECT RECIPIENT OF HIS REMARKABILTY-him having Installed my COILS/VT IN MY S600. I JUST WROTE HIM TODAY ABOUT HOW THAT CAR WANTS TO HUNT TESLAS! HE BAAD!(good)
