At the end it was very cool that a guy walked by and said "No seed oils!" and gave you the thumbs up! Great video.
Cold pressed mustard seed is best
I loved when he was standing there talking about the shitty farmed salmon and the guy walks up beside him like get the fuck out of my way so I can get some of that shitty salmon.
i can’t believe they tried to under estimate this guy by saying he’s just a psychiatrist lol, he’s more knowledgeable in nutrition than most nutritionist out there. love you Paul

Literally saw that and was waiting to comment about it 😂
Thinking Paul is legit 😂😂
The "no seed oils" was the best video ending possible.
Missed a gem. Costco also sells 100% grass-fed frozen beef patties
And at half the price, I think.
These are my favorite at costco. I cook them in a cast iron with raw butter.
If you go to the frozen beef patty aisle, they have 100% grass-fed beef patties! You get like 15 of them & they are super convenient.

But I’d it grass finished?

The big money is in processed foods. That’s why this has happened. It’s a sad sight. Everything is about profit. We as humans need to come together, educate ourselves and spread the message.
Thanks, Doc.
Truth!! It blows my mind that we live in the “greatest period in human history” yet affording the simple diet options my ancestors had 3 generations ago is barely affordable with a middle class income.
It’s why so many giant companies like Kelloggs support vegan things/studies.
the elites control the world
so what if everything is about profit? money matters. you need it to survive in this world. how you or anyone else gets their money is their own business. dont like it? don’t buy it.
Don't forget about convenience.
Love how you are spreading the message out loud, so people hear it, keep up the good work and thank you for what you do
yeah i love how they're spreading harmful information about consuming raw milk.
"...it is demonstrated that consumption of raw milk poses a realistic health threat due to a possible contamination with human pathogens. It is therefore strongly recommended that milk should be heated before consumption."
One of my faves from Costco are the Teton Water Farms grass fed Polish sausages. 100% grass fed meat with no other fillers or ingredients
Thanks for the tip!😊
My Costco has the cheddar version of the Teton Water now too
Sometimes they have the TWF gf jalapeño cheddar brats, but they’re seasonal…so delicious!🥰
Those are really good
Really enjoyed your Costco food hauls. You should do more of these. Love your style and continue spreading love & knowledge ❤
Wow, your costco has way more organic options than the ones I've seen.
I've noticed you'll get more organic stuff if you go to stores in wealthier areas

I love how you were breaking down the misleading labeling on the pre packaged salmon and that guy comes over and reaches over you to take it LOL maybe he should have listened to you for a second.

Costco and Aldi are the only way we can afford to eat the way we do as a family of 6. Costco's Kirkland brand grass fed butter is legit. Comes from New Zealand and they claim it's 95% which is even higher than Kerrygold.
I would get it but can never find the non salted version. Don’t like the salted butter.
Aldi has had grass fed organic ground beef for 3.99/lb by me for a month now. It's insane!
@@robaruns yes! Ours sometimes has the three pack for a great price, also. We try to stock up when we can cause it freezes very well. They sometimes have lamb cheap during Easter/spring time, too.
Costco NY strips are lean enough that it doesn’t matter if they are grain finished.
Aldi has grass fed beef, but the prices have gone up a lot in the past 2 years.
Hahaha no seed oils guy at the end couldn’t have been better timed 😂
I love videos like this. It’s very informative and helps make you more aware of what’s actually in our foods. Thank you!!
NO SEED OILS guy was great! :D
The Kirkland Grass Fed butter is fantastic. I’ve occasionally seen pasture raised eggs at my local Costco but they’ve been harder to find lately
It has. PFAS in the labels.
Man, I’ve done research and found its packaging has PFAS, and that was the sole reason I gave up buying this butter, even though the price is unbeatable🥲
The guy coming in and grabbing a pack of the Salmon you were critiquing was a nice funny moment.
Thanks to you and Bobby from FlavCity as well as Brendan from Santa Cruz paleo I’ve really took my eating seriously and it’s crazy how much better I’ve felt.

Laughed when the guy grabbed the Norwegian farmed salmon as you were giving facts of the damages it does.
I cant believe nobody stopped you and started asking about some products, i sure would!
The look you gave to the dude when you were roasting the Norwegian/Dutch salmon and he just grabbed it from behind you 🤣
This is my ABSOLUTE favorite video you have ever done! - as I take the beef organ supplements
You're the man, Paul. God bless!
I suggested this about a year ago. Glad to see it. I get most of my meat from a farmer but costco is a good choice to for some meats. Love it
My favorite cheese has always been Parmigiano Reggiano but I tried Swiss Gruyere and I'm addicted atm :D
Love the guy getting the salmon while he was talking trash about it, so funny.
Wow! Very grateful you did this video. I was considering a membership at Costco or Sams. After watching this I could never even shop at Costco. I wait for my grass fed beef to go on sale and stock up, 40-50 pounds at a time. Keto/Carnivore is a simple way to live. The real withdrawal when converting is the break with consumerist grocery shopping. I'm always surprised at how empty my cart is at checkout. It's all nutrient dense and takes up less space.
Thank you! Very informational; I’m learning so much from you and the carnivore community. 👍
Love these videos. Now do a follow up where you cook a meal or two with the ingredients.
The KEVIN’s Paleo that U showed with the grass fed beef has the sauce separate in a sealed pouch… the meat was VERY TENDER !

I respect your opinions, but I can never give up veggies. I feel like crud without em and I could never eat nothing but meat and I loveeee meat. And also nothing wrong with some cheat meals now and again. Some bread or ice cream. Yum

These videos are great. Super simple and effective. Big fan.
FYI: long time ago I realized I could get some good deals at supermarkets depending on the neighborhoods.
Chicken breast was cheap at poor neighborhoods, and chicken thighs were cheap at richer neighborhoods. All for the obvious reasons.
I have scored so many good meat deals at supermarkets in poorer neighborhoods. I’d wait until markdowns and snap then up vacuum seal and freeze. Probably saving more than half compared to Costco.
The meat guy would mark down around 8 am, and I’d be there shorty afterwards. And I wasn’t the only one.
Not sure why you would want to eat chicken at all?

Bro, I had some mushrooms in my fridge a few months ago, thought I’d eat some (4) raw. Within 10 minutes I got a stomach ache, within 20 minutes I got deathsick and for 3 hours I was thinking I was going to die. Previously to this event I was eating a few organic mushrooms baked daily on my bread with eggs and started having some uncomfortable stomachache after eating this meal and should have known what was coming. Man, I tried adding fruits back into my Carnivore diet that I'd been doing since 2019 (keto for years before that)... I gotta say that they were a "gateway drug" for me. Just throwing that tidbit out there into the ether for someone scrolling the comments.
For me it was nightmare that i went to sugar binge eating for weeks so if you are true carnivorous don’t listen to everyone on CZcams.
@@setiop6788took me a few try’s off and on with carbs before I could actually control my intake use to I’d be eating them all day when I come off carnivore now I can limit myself honestly not even sure why that is
I definitely understand. Sugar cravings are crazy. Also, i think fruit/carbs should really only be in your diet if you're exercising a lot.
@@IMD918 agreed I added in carbs when I started running 30-40 miles a week along with bodybuilding workouts 7 days a week mostly just because with carnivore I could never get hungry severely under eating and my maintain calories are at 3500 before the running so with running I eat minimum of 4200 calories a day just to maintain and so you literally have to have a appetite and carbs make you have one
So you eat a banana then just binge on sugar?
Thanks, Paul, much appreciated.

Wish they had more grass fed meat items to be able to be bought at Costco along with grass fed butter or ghee.
Man,
I’ve been eating like this for more than a year and a half and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done to myself. I am finally feeling good and healthy.
But my dad is sick, and I’ve been trying to convince him for so long to throw away all the garbage food and drinks that he’s having and he just refuses to which is so, so frustrating and disappointing - seeing him suffer and yet accepting it as his fate as if there’s nothing he can do to make it better, while I know for certain, from experience and knowledge that he can truly get better, is really sad to me.
I try to educate him with all the information that you give, with scientific facts, but people just don’t want to accept it or change their lifestyle in some sort of an ignorant manner.
Even my brother which is a Ph.D in Biology who knows scientific studies and who’s worked for about 10-15 years trying to develop a cure for cancer, and who actually cannot argue with the facts that you bring (which I quote) and most often says that it’s probably true - still is eating all the salad and quinoa and seed oils and spices and all that crap.
Ahhh so disappointing, I wish they all tried to eat the right way just for a month or two so they’d see the results for themselves.
I wish you’d have had a solution for people like them who just refuses to change despite having the facts in front of their eyes.
Anyhow you are doing a work which I believe is holy and sacred, so thank you tons and keep it up 🙏🏻🙌🏻
Yep my Dad has had diabetes since mid 90's and I'm like "You don't have to live this way." And he goes "Yeah you can eat perfectly and you won't live foreve but it will feel like it!" (Because he can't have his biscuits, licorice, rice crispy treats and ice cream) His medication is such that he eats a bunch of treats at night and he's low in the morning.I think the medication is still too strong. He's figured out 'fasting' in the middle of the day gives him a lower blood sugar at dinner but yet....yeah. I'm like "You're still damaging your body eating that crap." He's lived longer than most of his family so well I leave him alone. I try to talk to my Mom and her reply is "Everyone is different. You do what works for you we'll do what works for us." And she's having so many problems and stuck in the 'eat only 4oz of meat" thing. She eats that and is 'full.' She's not eating enough IMO. It's frustrating because she was like me at one point always reading medical stuff but now it's like shes' stopped. It's hard when we want to help the people we love but they are like "no." My sister said for me to become a 'keto coach' but all I see (not just family) people don't want to get healthy. They don't want to give up the junk. Once you see, you can't unsee...like the Matrix lol.
My father-in-law has given up as well when so many have offered him help. Unfortunately, they won't make changes unless they want to. It's so frustrating to watch, and it's especially heartbreaking to watch my husband's emotional turmoil watching his father give up.
@matthewgonano636 are veggies bad or something, I know some are not the best but I believe I'm missing something from this video.
@@Veritech617 📝 He taught me that plants have self-defense mechanisms called phyto-toxins. This content creator, Dr. Paul Saladino, regularly speaks out against the idea that vegetables are “only” healthy for us. He also believes that we can get all the nutrients we need for optimal health from what he calls his “animal-based diet” without needing to eat any plants (vegetables) or anything plant-based. He’s also really big on how important it is to eat liver.
@@mlady6564 😔 I, also, am sad that I have family and friends who I care about and love who do not heed my concerns about their eating habits. 💔❤️🩹 But I’m so grateful that I feel so much better now. All I can think to do, now, is become the most optimal version of myself that I can be. If my words are not enough, then my lifestyle will have to do the talking for me. 🙏🏽 And although I can’t get through to certain people, I can still possibly help others. And, at this point, I’ll be happy with anyone who chooses to improve their health and happiness ❤️🩹❤ I don’t want to see anyone suffering anymore over this

Kirkland parm reg is amazing. And I just recently found the green box of 32 hardboiled eggs. so good
They also have raw honey. And in the frozen session often the have grass fed burger patties
yup
Paul, what do you think about maple syrup? If its ok, does it have to be a specific type of syrup?
He’s a fan of 100% Real Maple Syrup in the context of an Animal-Based diet. He does, however, speak more about raw honey. He will often include them both in the same sentence. I use about a tablespoon of Grade A Dark Amber 100% real maple syrup in a 12 oz glass of raw milk once a day. I either use Kroger brand or my favorite, Spring Tree.
ALDI sells canned wild-caught Alaska pink salmon for like $3.29/lb. We eat it often.

This is where I primarily shop, and have had to take a hard line on their junk food... the 100% grass-fed frozen hamburger patties are a huge winner. Do the exact same ingredients check as the doc did... so frustrating and don't purchase anything in the bakery. Organic is more prevalent and suspect many Costco shoppers don't realize and unfortunately probably overlook. Since going by what Doc Saladino says, my numbers are amazing and have lost 30 lbs. No more statins ever... like prison, I ain't going back. 😂
Paul, you missed the 100% grass fed hamburger Pattie’s in the frozen section. Grass fed beef at $5/pound (in St. Louis). It’s what I use for the majority of my weekly meal prep.
Are you talking about the Costco on Lindbergh?
@@joewoppy7054 Yes! They are pre-made frozen hamburger patties (like the ones that get grilled at school events) but are 100% grass fed, no fillers. 5lbs for $25. It's a steel if you don't mind frozen meat you have to thaw.
My lifestyle habits
• Only drink and cook with distilled water (removes 99.9% of contaminants from water leaving just H2O) (two Megahome 316 deluxe distillers (£180 each) - 4 litres each = 8 litres in 5 hours (every day/ every other day at 550 watts each = around £50 per month electric cost)) - municipal water is treated with chlorine, fluoride and synthetic vitamins, also unless the water is distilled it can’t remove toxins such as heavy metals, medications (such as agricultural run-off; antibiotics, hormones, vaccines etc.) and medications urinated by other people), microplastics, bacteria, viruses, salts, atrazine (study showed male frogs exposed to atrazine grew ovaries and could bear offspring) etc. (it is estimated there could be more than 50000 different chemicals in municipal water). Plastic from bottled water can leach into the water and is also non-distilled except nestle smart water but is in plastic and has agents added which are mentioned next
• Chlorine (chloride) (swimming pools, municipal water, bottled water), fluoride (toothpaste, municipal water, bottled water), salt (diet, ocean, municipal water, bottled water), synthetic calcium (calcium carbonate (chalk)) (synthetic vitamins, toothpaste, white flour, municipal water, bottled water) are calcifying agents which means they accumulate deposits in the pineal gland which is located in the center of the brain and is responsible for producing and secreting melatonin (energy levels and sleep) and I would also say mental lucidity and so I avoid these sources to avoid these agents
Don’t put anything on skin that you wouldn’t consume because skin just absorbs it into system -
• Don’t use any chemicals
• Wash with distilled water (small bowl and flannels), wash hair by leaning forward into a big glass mixing bowl and scratching/ massaging head, I brush teeth with oral-b pro 3 electric toothbrush without toothpaste and humble co plant-based floss picks, wash hands with distilled water
• Use IKEA natural rubber gloves (£1 each) when working with municipal water, if get any on skin I rub it off on my clothes
• Wash clothes the old fashion way - repeatedly squeeze it in a bowl with distilled water or collected rainwater which is distilled water (evaporates to gas state leaving contents on the ground then falls as pure water), to remove stains I use a scrubbing brush. Every while wash clothes in washing machine with Nellie’s laundry soda and Dettol laundry cleanser, rinse cycle, then wash in distilled water. Don’t wash bed linin and just turn inside out after one month then replace with new ones every 2 - 3 months. I use a £3 cotton sheet to go over the top of my sheet and lay on that so it preserves the under sheet and the £3 one can be replaced more frequently cheaply. Duvets washed at laundrettes
• Only use pure cotton clothing (or pure wool) and pure cotton bed-linen because plastic (polyester, nylon, polyamide etc.) off-gasses (chemicals released as gas) which enter the body (I use; M&S 10.5 tog duck feather double duvet with cotton outer, M&S firm duck feather pillows with cotton outer, in summer soak and sleep 2.5 tog pure cotton double duvet, amazon NIYS cotton sheet king £14 (I use mattress suspenders to hold it on), amazon linens world cotton duvet cover double with two pillow cases £20) (take linen if go to a hotel)
Reducing stress and blood pressure
• Mindfulness moments of stopping for periods of deeper breathing and checking in with heart beat and blood flow
• Slowing down thought - maybe try thinking or talking like Severus Snape from Harry Potter or agent Smith from the matrix: clear, calm and calculated
Fasting every so often
• Eat last meal early then don’t eat again until same time next day
• Fasting makes the body go into autophagy where cells that are dysfunctional undergo ‘pruning’ and processes that are unnecessary are put on hold because the body prioritizes survival
• (Consult with doctor if necessary and increase calorie intake so to not lose weight)
Exercise
• Jogging, light-weight and bodyweight exercises
• Helps with feeling tired to promote sleep and feel-good chemicals to improve mental health
Diet
• Try to eat only organic whole foods (free from pesticides and in case of animal products antibiotics and hormones)
• Don’t eat fish because of heavy metals, microplastics and fluoride content
• Don’t eat added sugar or sugary foods or added salt or salty foods
• Use distilled water and wipe cooking-ware, plates and bowls with a tea towel before using and wipe cutlery with a tea towel to get soap film off before using which can damage gut lining and kill microbiome
• Use glass cup/ mug, use BPA free plastic for water bottles and food containers (sistema) and use PTFE/ teflon and PFOA free cooking-ware (procook professional ceramic)
• I have noticed in the past some foods can have an associated effect (such as heavy metals or calcifying agent), because of this to try new foods I take a small bite and wait an hour and don’t eat at restaurants
Blue light
• Minimize/ eliminate blue light exposure which is strong enough to damage the eyes and suppress melatonin production which prevents sleep (bright tells circadian rhythm its sunrise/ daytime and time to produce energy)
• Use a low lumen projector (ViewSonic M1 mini (120 lumens)) with settings on low brightness and orange tint
• Put night light mode on laptop
• Wear orange tinted blue light blocking glasses (UVEX skyper with a pair of no cry over the top)
• Put night light mode on phone and use anti-blue light tempered glass screen cover
Sleep
• No blue light sources one hour before bed
• Don’t sleep with phone by bed/ put it furthest away or turn it off or on flight mode
• Turn off electricals that don’t need to be on and don’t sleep with head on side of the bed next to a wall because electrics are interpreted by the brain the same way that light is and so it’s like trying to sleep with a light on
• Sleep with a fan (EasyAcc mini)
