What’s the Zodiac movie about?
Based on the true story of the notorious serial killer and the intense manhunt he inspired, Zodiac is a superbly crafted thriller from top director David Fincher. Featuring an outstanding ensemble cast led by Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Chloë Sevigny, Zodiac is a searing and singularly haunting examination of twin obsessions: one man's desire to kill and another's quest for the truth. On July the 4th, 1969, the evening of the independence day, two young adults are killed by gun shots in the cities of Benicia and Vallejo in California. A man then calls local authorities and declares having done the crime. The presumed killer, nicknamed Zodiac, accompanies his claims with a riddle. Robert Graysmith (Gyllenhaal), a young newspaper cartoonist, sees his life change when he starts investing his time in decrypting the serial killer’s puzzle.

It's so creepy how he just non chalantly says he's going to throw her baby out the window.
the fun trivia in this scene is the young mother is played by Ione Skye who is Donavan's daughter. Donovan's classic song Hurdy Gurdy Man is played at the start and closing of Zodiac.

What i "love" about this movie is that every killing scene or in this case, kidnap scene, is so damn realistic. You feel so uncomfortable watching them. It's almost unbearable especially the one with the couple that is being stabbed. When i first watched that one scene i had to pause the movie because i couldnt stand it. I had to catch my breath. You can feel their fear and you can imagine every emotion they are going through. Each of these kind of scenes is scary. I would even say frightening. Fincher did such an amazing job making this movie.

You can’t really tell who it is; that’s the whole point. The film allows you to make your own interpretation.
@@r3aux Exactly, in the film, another curious point is that in Allen's investigation, at no point in the film, does any character question the fact that he is bald, and the witnesses declare that the Zodiac had hair, we can see that in the scenes in which the Zodiac appears, he has hair
