- This is the series where I reveal what is inside these pottery moulds I found on Gumtree.
The story goes, I found a listing on gumtree for pottery stuff. When I arrived the seller said 'I have all these pottery moulds would you like them as well?' and I said 'why not'. On the way home, I had the brain child to do a social media video series revealing what each mould is.
The mystery is in the fact that I had no idea what I had said yes to, some of the moulds are labelled and easy to tell but some of them are a little more difficult. The beauty is that all of the plaster moulds surprise you no matter the presentation of labels, titles or identifiable surface inside.
So come join me as I dive into this series and share the mould fun. I would love to hear any information you may have on the moulds and to let me know any stories you have that the moulds remind you of in the comments.

I can not believe this beautiful reaction! Thank you so much for all your love and support! I adore you all so much and so happy you love these videos as much as I do creating them (even when I am burnt out).
P.s this is just a little reminder that resin is dangerous stuff! Use protective equipment like gloves and masks when handling it. This resin is not food safe! This was an art project to see how it would look and now I know I’m going to play with it a little more. If you have taken inspiration from this video please please please research and follow safety precautions with your materials! Not all materials are equal and they all have different properties that can impact their safety! Be careful out there!
It'd be incredibly fiddly to do, but imagine how cute one of the mushroom incense burner would be with the little blue caterpillar from Alice in wonderland smoking his hukkah pipe.
Oh stop! What a cute idea! It could be fiddly but also so cute!
I think the Caterpillar could be big enough not to be too fiddly but probably not something that you'd want to make over and over. Unless you could make a mould. Whatever she does is always adorable.
Making it into an incense holder was such a cool idea! I also loved seeing the resin flower plates, they will definitely look amazing when it sets and the mushrooms can go on top
Absolutely! They look amazing! I have to upload the CZcams a few hours before its live so that it can do all the safety checks but the resin was set this morning and I was able to show off the finished results on Instagram! They look amazing! I am so happy with them!
You can tell that was someone's favorite mould because it was so well used. What if you cut a open arch in the mushroom? That would turn it into a small frog or toad house for you garden or a reptile habitat for your pet.

Thank you so much! I think the world can be a pretty grim place at times! I often find myself falling into that grim space so Pottery is very much my outlet and something that fills me with so much joy so I am just so happy I can share that with you and you can also enjoy the creativity!

Ahhhh! These are the most precious things! They would be the cutest along one of those little backyard pond fountain things, just little fairy huts along the moss and water. They are truly so cute.

When you opened the mould, I almost went "ohhhhhhh" right out loud because they're so right up your alley that I was excited for you.

Thank you so much! I think for me the series is not just about revealing the moulds but challenging my own knowledge and trying out different styles and techniques. Sometimes it is a bit draining when i cant think of any cool ways to adapt the moulds. I have just found that this whole series has strengthened me as an artist so much. It just makes it sweeter when the moulds are wonderful!

IT HAD TO BE DONE! I have always wanted to make a mushroom incense burner but didn't want to do what someone else had already done with them! I fell in love with these shapes so it was so much fun turning them into little houses!

These are so cute. I still have my little mushroom house i did in 74. I did it for a tealight but never used it. I never thought of a saucer underneath or even incense! Mine has little windows with shutters and a sign in the mold and i cut the windows out. I also had an alligator dish scrubber holder I saw
