get simucube ultimate ...... tripple and work on a good fov also i do recomend the active pedals ... make diference on a real life expirience ...
Button box, wind sim and VR.
@@barchetta85 Good idea! I have VR already, HP Reverb G2, it sits next to me on the chair lol xD
@@TechTesseract gotcha, didn’t notice the G2.
It’s too bad you aren’t able to have Buttkickers due to living in an apartment. Buttkickers+ HF8 is an absolute treat. (That’s how I have my rig setup.) If that wasn’t the case, I’d also suggest getting surround sound. If you ever do go down that road please for the love of god put the speakers on stands and don’t have them on the floor pointing vertically. Been there done that. It sounds fine, but it isn’t great. I’d also argue to skip the typical Logitech’s (been there done that) and get actual bookshelf speakers. Having the speakers on stands gives any car around you a feeling of actual presence if that makes sense. Especially if you are able to crank the sound up a bit. Cheers!
What’s the black panels link
So clean, man. All the lighting in that corner makes everything look incredible. W upgrades too.
ay thanks dude! haha lighting is everythinggg
That is one awesome racing rig 🔥
Thanks Em!
This video was awesome! I would have loved something like this back in the days when Forza Horizon 4 was my go-to game. I even bought the logitech wheel for FH5 and I've barely touched the wheel or the game in the past two years. Maybe one day I'll get back into it and if I ever upgraded I'll definitely reference your build videos 👍
Freakin awesome racing sim!!
Thanks man!
Ugh making me consider upgrading to Moza now.. Been running a G920 for a while but just not really happy with it... but that looks loads better. Thanks!
Do it man! I had a G920 before I got the R5, such a night and day difference going to direct drive! Not a bad price nowadays too
Love your new upgrades when are you going to make racing games content for your gaming channel
Ay thanks man! I might start soon actually, anything specific you wanna see?
i remember when you changed out the monitor for this setup, how has it been so far in terms of colors, response time and refresh rate since you changed it?
It's been epic - no complaints! Colors are spot on, has all the refresh rate I need and everything looks great when racing :D
@@TechTesseract any suggestions on building a racing sim? i just got a 34" ultrawide and i have a 4080 and i do a lot of FH5
I love the HF8. Just like buttkickers it's hard to race without it. And it also helps that their customer service is top notch.
I actually love it so far, i bet buttkickers are even cooler with it
i just upgraded to heusinkvield sprints those are very nice pedals
very nice!
dont buy the r3 get the fanatec csl dd bundle ready2 race instead it is 400$ to but it has 5nm and there is a option to upgrade to 8nm and fanatec has a wider selection of wheels at better prices
also a good option! Not console compatible though :/
Josh whats your favorite game of all time ?
Skyrim/Runescape/Assetto Corsa
At 6:54 I know that map what you were playing on brings back memories of forza motorsport 4 the starter map if anyone know the map name let me know
Bernese alps! It's imported into assetto from fh4 haha
I noticed you were driving a bmw in the sim and have a bmw as your background. I am curious to know, what is your dream car?
Probably an RX7 or NSX
I love your vedios
thanks!
yep i’m poor 😂
Same lmaaao
The steering wheel and the pedals was absolutely worth the big upgrade!
hell yeah!
CRP description was slightly incorrect. 1. only the brake is load cell (you made it seem like all are load cell) and 2. They all still have hall sensors (the brake uses a combination of the two or you can set it all the way one way or the other)
Ay appreciate the clarification! I did wonder that actually as it seems like it would completely pointless on throttle/clutch haha... I wasn't aware of the there being a combination of hall effect + load cell though! I've started to notice the improvements in lap time consistency with the braking which is pretty cool
@@TechTesseract I believe if you keep the load cell setting at 50% in pithouse it will be half hall and half loadcell....Personally I have it all the way up and when I go to calibrate I have a little pressure on the brake before I press calibrate button and then press the brake hard all the way up and click the calibrate button again to stop the calibration and then it basically makes my brake activate max with regular force. I am using the hardest brake spring and damper in my CRP.
@@TechTesseract Rocking the CSv2 the FSR with an r21 crp pedals I also have the SGP and HGP along with their ebrake all setup at the same time. I play a lot of WRC and have it set to auto select with clutch.
@@TechTesseract Moza is amazing brother. Youll absolutely love them pedals before long. I couldnt imagine driving without them. Hoping moza comes out with some nicer enthusiast stuff but I am pleased none the less. Love your setup too man. Looks really nice
Awesome! I been trying out the different springs/rubber, definitely makes a difference, been great so far!
