So here's my take. I grew up hunting, fishing, and trapping. My father had us kids in the woods since I was about 8 yrs old. I Ran a trap line at 10 yrs old miles from the house. I have harvested deer, venison was our main meat source while I was growing up. as an adult, I have fed, my family, my family with venison as our primary meat source and I had successfully put many others on deer as well. My wife and I have harvested bears and we had seven other successful hunters harvest bears out of my stands. Growing up my father had Blue Tick Hound dogs and we ran Racoons all over the state of Michigan. many nights out with my dad and cousin following the dogs for miles and miles in the woods. So I have a bit of deep woods experience. I have heard seen and witnessed most things that can be seen in the forest in my area. And to this day there have been a couple of times when things were seen or heard that doesn't seem fit. You spend enough time in the woods you get familiar with the different wildlife in your area as you well know. I don't consider it wimpy to admit when something catches your attention and causes concern. I call it being aware and keeping safe. I enjoy your content keep up the great work.
What a great comment mate
@@englishwoodsman I would have to agree with you there Dan, Trucker Jon has a great point and one to listen too.

This is a great comment. 👍

You was speaking about noises during the night, when you put yourself into a situation like you found yourself in whilst camping your senses kick in which is a natural instinct. While I was with the army I had a guard duty on an ammunition dump which was in a woodland I had my rifle and communications, I had a whisper Mike on my throat this was designed so you can actually whisper very quietly your message. While I was on this patrol on my own I heard something moving in the woods so I immediately went to ground and called in my position, at the time we were on Amber alert, all I could hear was my heart beating like a drum and the rustling was getting closer also it sounded like someone was whispering to someone else. Anyhow what seemed like ages for team of men to come to me they called me on the radio and told me which direction they were approaching from, suddenly what was in the woods rushed towards me i nearly crapped myself, what I'd heard was bloody rabbits, they ran directly at me because they had heard the lads coming from the opposite direction. This example I'm explaining to you Dan is to say, your not being paranoid it's just your natural instincts kicking in, you see we live in an environment in towns and our homes which are noisy so we're used to those sound but out in the wilds we become far more alert. Anyhow as always I loved your videos so I await you next one.👍
I was sleeping out in the open in France many years ago when a frog (4 legged green hopping type before any jokes are posted)) landed on my neck and I couldn't get back to sleep after.
Not sure about you but I've had a few instances where every hair on my body stood on end. Once in Northern Ireland, we had dug out a decent scrape in gorse bushes as it had been near the brow of a hill we had a great view and all round apart from our rear which backed up towards rocks. We were there a few days on obs. Every night we heard what sounded like people walking on a path just down from us, never at any point seen anyone. At the time only the ranked soldiers had nvg and nothing to see, absolutely hated being in the sangar towers, just knew we were being watched. Different feeling though.
Another time on guard duty on a fob in Afghanistan we always got that feeling someone was there. Again clear site due to high position. We had a view all around yet couldn't shake the feeling and the hair on point. Never explained that feeling. Only ever had that feeling on two occasions while camping back home and again nothing to explain it. We always camp with something solid to our back when possible. We all have the heightened hearing and as our eyes adjust decent vision unless we use a form of light them back to some time to adjust again.
Never seen anything to date but definitely get that raised awareness where I've no idea why.
If I'd been in your position we would have been eating rabbit that night, quick chop to the back of the neck while holding the rear legs 😁
I don't have much experience in the woods and I've never camped over nite but I can verify that rabbits can be very loud when their rustling under the brush. I had a scare walking my dogs one nite I thought a wild pig was moving towards us but it turned out to be a big fat rabbit 😅
@@christineschutten248 I lived in the woods for almost 20 years and I'll never forget the night that the dogs started barking at something not far from the house. The dogs got closer to the house and that's when I could hear what sounded like something huge shuffling through the woods. Small twigs snapping and everything. I thought the same, wild pig. I went in and peeped out the door. The sound got louder and louder and then a big armadillo made his way out of the tree line and into the front yard. I got a laugh out of that one. 😆
Don't worry, we all get spooked on occasion whilst solo camping/bivvying, most of the time for no rational reason.
Several years ago, I was attacked by a pack of feral dogs at night whilst bivvying on a remote beach in Greece & that experience haunts me every time I sleep out on my own.
For the rest of that journey, I slept in defendable/daft camping spots. (Up trees, rocks, under bridges, etc.) but having something solid on one side, some kind of trip wire alarm & a big knife all help to calm my nerves when something goes bump in the night!
Hi Dan I have been watching you from just after you started, I enjoy the videos when you talk about your life, I admire how you have not let your dyslexia hold you back, after all the things that have happened in your life you are still very positive, good for you👍🏻 don’t ever change who you are
A lot of UFO,s in Yorkshire a few years ago .
A few little tips I've learned as a solo camper in the woods.
Get to know the woods you are camping in and look for signs of human activity, such as litter.
Try to pick spots that are a ball-ache to get to - even in daylight - this will make it far less likely you will be intruded upon in the night.
Get to know the sounds of local wildlife - there are CZcams videos featuring sounds of badgers, muntjac deer, foxes etc..., all of which can sound scary when you're by yourself.
Human male urine (only works with male - females would have to literally take a bottle of male urine with them) can actually deter foxes from coming near your camp. This is a tried and tested method of keeping them away from gardens.
Keep a bushcraft knife handy for emergencies - so you can at least defend yourself in a worst case scenario.
There is 1 or 2 CZcams videos showing how to set up some fishing line around trees while also attaching it to one of those rape alarms you can get that are activated by pulling out the pin 'grenade style.; This is one way of creating a booby trap for anything encroaching on your camp if you are really concerned.
The last tip: It is highly unlikely you will ever encounter another human deep in pitch black woods, and far more likely that is an animal or bird in their natural habitat. So try not to let your mind wander whenever you hear 'movement or rustling sounds.'
Agree I do the same
Skinwalkers can be a bitch sometimes when they snatch a soul.
Always have my Shotgun on my side in tent with slug. I don't care all what you say, only what i can say dont try to wake up me in my tent.
and take a dog they will let you know if something is about not by barking but the direction their looking
good advice
A tip I was given a long time ago was look for a big patch of brambles or a really overgrown area, the last place you'd go for a mooch about, and find a way in there. If it looks a nightmare to you there's a good chance anyone else will leave it alone too and you'll get some peace.
I've seen you mentioned highly before by others in comments, so I thought that I'd view your channel. I enjoyed your video very much too. 🤗👍I stopped camping ALONE because I've had men try to get into my tent in the middle of the night way too many times before thru the years. I got to where I'd tie my zipper closed, attach bells to it too to wake me up, kept my truck keys next to me to set off my alarm if I had to, and slept with a hatchet and knife too. This happened at campgrounds with other campers near me, and even once when I was set up in a tent with my kids in another tent right across from me, and my father was close beside me in his camper. Even so, the last time I camped in a tent for a month on vacation. Others were always around me camping too. I had the best time of my life until once again, someone tried to get into my tent in the middle of the night. I told myself that I'd never go camping again until I had a camper that I could lock myself in. I'm just too afraid to go camping ALONE anymore though. I'm too afraid to even go hiking through the woods anymore after the things a man said to me as I came walking out of the restroom the last time I went camping. As I was rushing away from him, he said, "Hey, you want to go for a walk in the woods with me"?? I'll never forget the way he leered at me. I didn't even answer him. I just rushed towards my campsite. That night, I slept in my truck with the doors locked. Thankfully, he left the campground the next day. I'd say that he was the one man who ended up scaring me away from camping and walking in the woods alone ever again. I'd go if I were a man, but as a woman, I've lost my bravery to camp or hike in the woods alone now. I miss doing both of those things which I always loved, but I just can't feel safe to step foot into a tent or the woods anymore. I admire men such as yourself who bravely hike thru the woods and countryside to camp out alone. Even grown men can be frightened at times out camping. God gave us instincts to warn us when we're in danger. Sometimes it ends up being nothing or no one to harm or hurt us, but sometimes, it can turnout to be something or someone which can. Always have something to try and protect yourself with in case you need it. May God watch over you, and keep you safe and well. May he watch over and protect all you good men and women who are bravely out walking and camping in our forest and countrysides.✝️😌🙏
Good on ya mate for talking about dyslexia.
I used to work for an outdoor education company that “entertains” the kids in school who are disruptive/difficult.
I was amazed at kids about to leave school that couldn’t read or write. Education dept totally failed them, really sad
Hi Dan
Great solo camp video.
Just wanted to tell you about when I got spooked on a hammock camp.
During the night a suddenly heard what sounded like a growing! I woke up and checked all around but couldn't see anything. I was just drifting off to sleep when I heard it any. This time it was louder. I started to get spooked as yet again nothing was around. Then it happened again but this time I figured out where it was coming from!.
It was me snoring and waking myself up. 🤣😂🤣
I felt so stupid but it is true how your mind can play tricks on you.
Dan I went through the same stuff as you all through my school day's and left without any qualifications at 16 I couldn't read or write so took myself to night school for 1 year and it really helped I ended up being a Sargent in the Royal Artillery I'm not perfect at reading and writing so never put yourself down mate keep doing what you're doing atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

Just catching up on the videos I have missed, ran out of data for a while, thoroughly enjoyed it all so far!! Thank you for taking the time to make the videos for us to enjoy 👍
Hey Dan I love your channel.I've only subscribed to 4 channels in the last 15 years and your content is spot on.👍.Always listen to your sixth sense or gut feeling. The little bit of noise you made probably scared whatever it was.Keep up the good work Dan.
You`ve got over 53,000 sub`s because people enjoy what you do Dan, do what makes YOU happy...it`s obviously working. [Alien`s].
Hi Kevin thankyou for watching
A fox will make a noise some times that sounds like a child screaming "help me" ..
I sh!t you not .
When you get a whole battalion of rescue people out looking for a missing person and it turns out to be a fox ..
Yeah , that's a bit of craic.
I sh-t my self the first time I heard one🤣🤣
@@englishwoodsman I was wondering if the noise you heard was some part of your sleeping system moving as you breath .
The mind can play awful tricks when you're exposed to the elements .
I'd suggest find the safest way to camp for your mind . . You'll miss it when it's gone..
Remember you're inspiring others to get out , that's how I see my own trips and films , I don't have to do anything crazy or risky .
Planning an adventure over a hill to a valley to camp , it's a big walk with alot of gear and I've nothing fancy . My new tent is easy 2.6 kilograms and I'd say the lightest I can make all my gear is maybe 10 kilos .. but at least I know when I am in it , I'm ok from mice , spiders etc .
I think it's those things that set the mind to spooked mode ,
Spot on with foxes. I have a family of foxes that live where I do. At night you can hear their little baby foxes cry, they can be seen running around, then they start crying like a baby cries. Quite creepy hearing it the first time, in the early hours. Being spooked is only natural. Anyone that makes out they have never been spooked when camping alone, yeah OK 🙄 only if nothing happened to make you get spooked would be my reply to that. I think you are brave to be fair not being in a tent, I would rather something sheltering me, even if it wouldn't help much in a situation. Stay blessed Lady camper UK
I was camping solo a few years back, heard some noises and scratching on the tent two nights in a row. I am a very heavy sleeper, so I knew something was there. The third night caught something going by the tent. Grabbed my gun and shot the red fox coming out of the back of my trailer.
BIG tip guys, sound travels faster at night, so noises will be louder..eg animals in there natural environment near to your tents. Its not ghosts, or psychopaths walking round the tent as Dan often portrays..
I can relate - you say it how it is and seem genuine, keep up the good work buddy.
This sniffing experience happened to me during the summer camping with the family! Mrs made me go out and investigate, turned out to be 2 hedgehogs rummaging in a bag of rubbish we had tied up for the bin in the morning 😂😂what a laugh/ relief!could of sworn it was a massive dog haha! Never knew they could make that much noise! Love the videos as always Dan! Keep em coming 😎👍
Yep - hedgehogs are amazingly snuffly! (Dot)
@@keithtomey5046 I concur! Had one trying to get into a rubbish bag when I was camping on Anglesey some years ago, what a racket. Know what it is now if I hear it again! 😊👍
I recon it was Grizzly Gaz getting revenge after you shit him up with you poncho in the woods last time Great video Dan 😂😂
I will get him next time
Sabe/Sasquatch can instil a fear and a sense of foreboding that is absolutely terrifying. Looks like it was more than just being spooked.
English woods are absolutely tiny compared to the US, most aren't big enough to house a wild chihuahua let alone Sasquatch/Sabe, and we have no native legends about such entities so I suspect something else. Personally, I have been spooked when something like an owl is nearby as it causes the smaller animals to fall silent, took me a while to put my finger on it. But my friend swears there are nature spirits who still find a home in the tiny woodland we still have left.. I don't know about that, but I am open minded!
Another awesome video Dan! Your narration is always captivating and superb. Thanks and looking forward to some great winter videos. Stay safe! Jerry from Long Island, New York
It’s not wimpish to say you got spooked. It’s human. Love your videos x
I do alotof camping and get alot of bushtime. My wife camps with me most times but now and again I do a solo trip. I agree with you there is a big difference. When alone you hear more noises and are a bit more aware of your surroundings. That makes it easier to get spooked. That is part of the fun of being out there. Keep up the great videos!
I live in the great NW and Alaska usa. Ive spent many a night out alone. If im asleep and i wake up because ive heard something out of sorts, i consider it a threat until i feel secure again. To continue this lifestyle as im getting old im looking to get 2 dogs as companions. Never hurts to trust their senses. Great job nice video. JMHO
Great video Dan and big up for explaining things even although you should never feel like you have to,my 11 year old daughter has dyslexia she puts letters in when it doesn’t exist and flips letters around and if she can’t get it she just makes a word up at first I blamed myself thinking I wasn’t there for her and maybe she was just a little slow but she was diagnosed with dyslexia but you know what Dan I love her just the same will always be my little angel and I will always support her till my very last breath!!!!Doesnt change who you are bud and your a legend!!!!Thanks for this. All the very best 👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴
Dear Dan,
Keep up the good work man. U seem a great person and in my opinion u are doing a VERY GOOD JOB with your videos. Cheers from Belgium...
Good one Dan, probably a hedgehog sniffing about they can be quite noisy. Bivvy bags look too claustrophobic to me but each to his own. One thing about big foot and aliens is that the only people who see them don't know how to use a camera. Cheers.
I was felling claustrophobic some time mate .
probably badgers sniffing about, they won't care to much that your there either!
I was thinking hedgehogs aswell, noisy bloody things
Hedgehogs can be surprisingly noisy. The one that comes to my garden sounds like a bulldog. Cheap night vision might provide some assurance when spooked? Also my miltec bivvy is a total sweatbox. Was expecting you to be floating in the morning!
Absolutely brilliant video, great content and great entertainment, love watching all your videos, got my mates watching them and they love them, 👍
Good to see even experienced solo campers still get spooked. Gives those with less experience more confidence to not give up. Thanks for not just keeping in the bits that make it look easy. Enjoy your videos and look forward to more in the future
I came across your videos and I have enjoyed every one because you are right down to earth guy and say how it is
Its all the ghosts of the previous campers who stopped in the same spot!
I’m sure you must be an inspiration to others, speaking out about your dyslexia. And I like the way you deal with the negative people, it makes you a very special bloke. Keep it up 👍
Hello Dan , It's wonderful to see the Channel growing mate ! , Congratulations . !🙂
Thankyou for sharing. All the best.
I don't blame you for feeling uneasy its called being human.
I have done lots of camping but not wild camping on my own.
We don't know what weirdo's are going around i understand its less likely to meet a madman in the wild.
But you have to be careful incase someone see you going into the woods and follows you.
Good video thanks for sharing.
My fear is. All it takes is for a madman. To buy high tech night vision. Or thermal goggles. And probably goes around. Looking for body heat. Or campers. That’s my fear. I would love to camp. But I just think of stuff like that
Great video. Even us non-dyslexic, intellectual types love to chill out quietly. You have a great wit mate and very personable!
absolutely love ur content mate very inspiring
That's a nice comment ❤️
A sasquatch! Love your channel! You are so personable! Brings a smile to my lips! Good luck!
Are you subscribered to my channel??
I really like that stove. It simplicity is just right and makes my smile.
Awesome video Dan and proud of you for speaking up💪 my dad had dislexia too but he always managed to keep down a job and was such a fast hands on hard worker who learnt so fast without the books and spelling stuff!! Keep on keeping on buddy 🤘 stay safe and keep cool, Cat OZ 🙃👍😁
Lol I can't even spell it properly 🤣 *Dyslexia
Excellent honestly, Boss - love your channel! …keep it up 😉
It makes me feel great to watch people having fun camping and hiking. It makes me realize how much I miss the freedom of doing what you want to do. I just came across this video and Sub. Live Safe and have fun.
Hi from Adelaide, Australia. I am a subscriber and have been for a while now, love your videos Dan and keep 'em coming. I too have Dyslexia, actually a lot of people do and famous ones at that.
I love your videos you are down to earth and that’s why you have gotten so many followers
Congrats on flying past 53k subscribers. I’m sure most of us are here because you are such an honest lad. You have a lot of knowledge, experience and I enjoy your gear reviews too but there are lots of channels on these subjects that are almost carbon copies of each other. I find your perspective refreshing
Another class video mate 👍👍👍
Hiya, I would say the opposite...that if your not a bit spooked then your not normal!!! It's a natural reaction to seeing/hearing things we can't make sense of. Love your videos. Upwards and Onwards xxxx
Congratulations Dan! I love your videos mate you were the reason I got off my backside and got out exploring!!
I truly thank you for your consistent videos! Keep it up mate!!
I did my first wild camp in a wood last year in Rendlesham Forest.
It was a surprise to realise just how noisy woods are and the different ways that sound carries at night.
After dark we heard noises obvious to city folk such as owls and foxes but one noise woke us at 4am in a cold sweat.
If you've never heard a Stag barking then you're in for a shock, especially when it's less than 5 meters from camp. 😅
I REALLY like your happy go lucky character! REALLY make my day! Take each a day at a time! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Loved you man!!!
Wicked videos, keep em coming!!! 💌🍀💖
Love Mrs. Brown too hahaha love the video and your down to earth talks keep it up
Being spooked is a good thing cause it shows that the senses are working
Well said
56.000 who would of thought I have bin watching since the video of the piss ridden shelter by side of the road you have come so far since the early days young man respect
Yet again another video where I almost feel I'm the only person your speaking to.. I love how much you engage us in your adventures! Brilliant keep it up! Donkey on a beach
Dan, when we are out alone the mind can play tricks on us . Next time try setting up trail cameras you might see something interesting or nothing at all but it can help set your mind at ease. Love your videos take care.
New subscriber here from Alberta, Canada. I’m from Blackfoot Nation and from Piikani Tribe. Nice to meet you! You have a lot of courage to sleep under the stars! I look forward to all your videos and I will be catching up to present time! (April 2023 Happy Easter!) (No, it’s not wimpish and a part of human emotion, you are human.)
There is nothing wrong with getting spooked! When you're solo camping it's happened to me a dozen times!😅😊
Had it all my life very frustrating when your younger but you Learn to live with it and you do learn as you grow 70 now and still have lapses with somethings but not bothered by them it is as it is we just live with it. Your vids are great be proud carry on. Still wild camp myself, two squirrels fighting freaked me out one summer night what a racket.
I do like your videos and enjoyed your ramblings lol.
Lol. My snoring is enough to scare anyone away from coming near camp.. try it next time m8
I wonder if Scott was around somewhere 🤔
Hey if you want to fix your zip you need a pliars , preferably a flat one , and on the zipper , there are two flat guides on the side facing the ground as you zip it . They will be splayed out a bit , flatten then , a tiny bit at a time .. don't over pinch them together .
Zip will be brand new .
It's the square end of the zipper .
59k now big man, keep them coming 🏴👍
I'm going to say Hedgehog was what spooked you Dan. Either that or a Badger but I'll plum for Hedgehog. They snuffle/snort around in the undergrowth and can be surprisingly loud. Another great video. Thanks
Hi Dan! Really enjoy your videos. Also I love Mrs Browns Boys. That’s so really funny Sh** lol stay safe! 😊
Love all your vids fella! Dunno if I've thanked you for it but channels like yours, scotty's and hazey got me through breakdowns after a family break up, bankruptcy and homelessness (basically went to the woods with a stove and learnt which plants i can eat instead of heading to the city with a sleeping bag). I too couldn't tell the difference between august and october til a few years ago (47 now). Never had myself checked out though in my day we were either just certified brainy or stupid). Winged it as a postman for 27 years, but after family issues arose, i couldn't even sort letters into the right slots nevermind deliver them correctly. Was on warning after warning and left in the end before they finished me. Sorry for long rant and well done if you get through this. Keep the banter coming, i think lots of us like it and need it! Cheers!
Another brilliant video Dan very entertaining and informative and definitely not wimpy to be concerned when something unknown keeps waking you up probably a fox or hedgehog. Loved your question of whether you were in danger from Bigfoot or Aliens 👽 personal I think werewolves or zombie 🧟♂️ squirrels lol.
great tip for you if ever get scared when doing solo or even with other people bring a small blue tooth speaker and play loud music not only does help with fear but it will scared anything away it really does work should give it a shot but when stealth camping mite b a bit cover blown but up to u awesome video btw keep them coming
😂😂😂 cracked me up Dan fair play, energy drinks keep you up all night swinging from trees 😂😂😂
Its what I call is being human, not only that it makes watching more interesting, Thanks for giving me several hours of enjoyable entertainment.....👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊
It's never wimpish when you are talking about the truth and what you feel buddy ✌️
Ohh I’ve fancied giving that exact same bivi a go!! Yeah I been looking at that for 2 years I’ll have to get around to it
Just found your channel. You seem like a good lad, I'm going to enjoy following you thanks X 🙂.
Aliens,,, definitely,, seen some indescribable things in the sky,,
Great vlogs as usual
👍👍
Never seen anyone dunk a chocolate in coffee but everyone to their own. Great video 👍🏼
Very enjoyable video again Dan 👌 could have been a deer or a fox or a badger they have a snuffly sniff had one once try to get in my sleeping bag from the bottom lol near passed a breeze block when I woke up and saw it 😀
Everyone one has issues love watching your videos keep it up very enjoyable content even if I can't do it myself now
I'm dyslexic too. Even as to r talking about school I can feel my heart beating so fast with anxiety. I'm nearly touching 40 too. But I believe what you lack in you gain in other things. But if the apocalypse hits, I bet you and I would last longer in the wild than all the geniuses in the world. Ps. I just subscribed to your channel 👍🏻
Welcome to the channel gillian. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment
53k well done dude :) got camo 1wind hmk and 12ft shelter this morning.... Finally :)
When you have one entry like that, wire up a cheap personnel alarm(the one where you pull a pin), across the trees, or even a light stick works well.
Nice one Dan good video👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍👍
Hi Daniel, another good video. Like the trangia stove setup. For the winter I have been using the BCB crusader cup cookset.
I find when I get cold, I get a little clumsy, so don't want to reck my lightweight gear. Also have options; solid fuel or meths. Regards to sleeping bag I find synthetic ex army modular bags. They keep you warm even when damp. No criticism ment each too their own. Best wishes, keep us entertained as a
always. Allan
Spooked by a little prickly thing in the dark Dan🤣🤣🤣. I think the sniffling in the night was the hedgehog 🦔🦔🦔 I've heard them quite a few times at a place I sleep out.
I've got to admit for a little thing they can make a lot of noise and they had me spooked a few times until I found out what it was😁👍👍
Hello from a new subscriber. Greetings from northern Michigan, USA
Hi Dan no it’s not wimpish no way could I do that great video Dan really enjoyed it
I believe BigFoot exists. Way to many stories and pictures from over the years for him NOT to exist.
Another good video its amazing how your mind can play you up through the night when you are on your own. Anyhow all the best Cheers. Take Care. B. K
Set some trail cams and/or perimeter alarms up brother! Sometimes it can play on your mind and usually can be explained away. We are all spooked by things that we don’t know what it is! It’s all part of our natural instincts mate, I’ve been doing this for around thirty years now and sometimes I still have to have a look around 😂😂😂…. Great video as always mucker 👍🏻👍🏻😎🇬🇧
Loved this and dont talk to stranger's debs xx
Donkey riding on a beach !!!!! Loved it !!!
🤣🤣🤣
Don't apologise for light inconsistences mate. Thats life. And you are stealth camping after all :) You always do a cracking job. And the sound is spot on 👍 I am terrified to stealth camp although it is appealing. I snore! 🤣
normal to get spooked on your own and always worse when you talk about stuff and set yourself up.Its very brave to see it through. I don't think you ever get used to it either. I've even imagined spirits in the wood watching and had to leave, its about controlling your mind. Besides instinct has kept your ancestors alive for millennia so may be trust in that more. You do great camping videos mate keep it up
Good enjoyable video Dan as usual, just a suggestion, why not get a cheap trail cam set up overlooking where you are sleeping, at least you would be able to hopefully catch what is around.
Haha I think it was the UK Bigfoot lol, you heard the UK cayote earlier and they are associated with old big foot lol.
Thanks Dan, stay safe, your great to watch a lovely honest guy.
BIGFOOT!!
Hello Dan,
Just found your channel,
It's great it's just like the stuff I do.
I just subbed.
I'm very new to youtube and I'm also dislexic.
Keep up the good work mate really good.
Also the noises of the wood seem to amplifie when you get spooked and are on your own, All perfectly normal it's your senses doing there job bud.
👍
Hi Dan loveing your video s stay safe mate
You need to setup a trail cam to look over whilst you sleep so that those 'spooky' sounds can be viewed :)
I have some trail camera as well damian
I've thought about that for myself in a few creepy spots I go to but thought as long as I'm alive in the morning I'd rather not see what was creeping around when I sleep.
Yo I laughed when he grabbed that hot pouch lol!! That noise he made said it all lol 😂
Also, I’m scared of insects 🕷 especially spiders,so i am in awe of how brave you are!
Another great video dan keep it up mate let me know when ur coming up here in Scotland
Great video thank you Dan, I reckon it was Bigfoot sniffing around.
