Ultimate “Ford Escort” RS Conversion. Full Review & Test Drive Video. Amazing!

The ultimate Ford Escort Mk1 RS. This conversion has the more powerful 2.1 Pinto engine with high lift cams, single prop, front disc brakes, single leaf rear suspension and a type 9, 5 speed gearbox. This car develops around 115 BHP and is painted in the wonderful 70s Tawny Brown metallic paint. Wide arches and a glorious exhaust note a true British motoring icon. After taking the car out for a test drive, Tim takes this wonderful classic back to the original factory in Halewood Liverpool where the car came off the production line in 1974. Old skool foods are the best especially the RS Range.I had a few mk1 escorts and a few mk2 escorts but my favourite one was the mk2 RS2000 Custom
