- A Wall Street Journal report has claimed that Ukraine has been intercepting far more smaller proportion of Russian missiles in the last six months. Russia has reportedly fired over 330 missiles and 2,628 Shahed drones in that period. As per the report, Ukraine was able to shoot down only 46% of the Russian barrage. This as Ukraine struggles to protect its airspace amid dwindling Western military aid and the fact that Russia has been firing harder-to-hit missiles towards it. Watch this video for more details.

it is not just Ukraine's weapons supply that is being drained it is also the West weapons supply that is being drained, so whenever NATO decides to engage Russia where will they get those munitions? Russia has won decisively against the west.

First we only gave them some hand held anti tank wapons, then later some missiles, then some jeeps and old IFV, the some anti air defences, then some tanks ! @@luisekjeldsen1515 that's not how things work. Firstly, starting a war that more than likely could have been avoided, while having no military to sustain it, is crazy. If begging for weapons is your defense, you've already lost. Secondly, you don't give your best military equipment as aid to a corrupt country such as Ukraine. Not only does it take years to train to an efficient level with said systems, also the likelihood of those systems being sold on the black market (ironically to Russia) is very high. Who do you think purchased US military equipment left in Afghanistan? Hint: Russia.
And lastly, just the amount of artillery shells Ukraine would need to make an actual difference is also not sustainable for western countries. While I'm no fan of Russia, they are probably the one country with the deepest ammo stockpiles dating back to the Soviet era. If Ukraine had more weapons or weapon systems, Russia would simply alter tactics. We are seeing what we are seeing because that's the way it is.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time
Russia's national security was compromised once nato began to expand eastwards. The initial assault was to get a peace agreement signed. When UK and US stepped in to support, the Russians strategically took a slow and steady approach by leaving Ukraine and setting up defensive lines first.
