  • MOMENT a fleet of Russian missile launchers 'take out Ukrainian combat drones mid-air.'
This menacing video shows the potency of Russia's S-300PM2 'Favorit' anti-aircraft missile system as it purportedly blasts Ukrainian combat drones from the sky.
The show of military might may be intended as a threatening response to Washington's recent vow to supply Kyiv with new long-range missiles.

They are using electronic warfare stations for this. C-300 and C-400 not suppose to be used against drones, only against flying objects like jets and missiles. As for conventional measures - they use Pantsir-M against drones. Russia now posses best experience of anti-drone warfare on a globe. They destroyed over 1064+ drones of all kinds.
Drones are really overrated in media. They can't really change the strategic flow of a war. And damage they done is minimal In comparison to how many drones were lost.
Remember attack on Snake Island? They wasted over 30 drones there. How many video they managed to create with 30 drones? 5 attacks on small boats, of which 2 were Ukrainian claimed to be Russia's, 1 helicopter which was also Ukrainian, but again claimed to be Russia's, 1 TOR system and 1 ZU-23. So, was it worth it to waste this many on so little?
So, that's the reality of using drones against Russia i am afraid. Reality hit's hard.

This reminds me of the last war when the aggressors were parading their hard hitting weapons to show their might and how they were winning.
    Well, they ended up losing.

Don't be impressed, Russia put on a nice coat of paint and made a it spin it doesn't mean works all that well. So far the Russians can't even shoot down the Turkish drones and those things are not state of the art.

These don't work with drones, which usually have no IR signature and move too slow to be picked up by radar. They are for incoming cruise missiles and aircraft.
