@@Silkie_Dragon I mean, you could argue that cis men and cis women each have half a reproductive system, since you can't reproduce without both elements. That said, sex isn't just for reproduction. And there are those rare species that can have both parts in one body and/or switch from male to female throughout the life cycle: I wonder how many parents wouldn't let their kids watch Nemo anymore if they found out clownfish are technically intersex?
The last one is EXACTLY what my parents say to me every single time they decide to bring it up in conversation and then blaming me for “being so selfish” and “thinking the world revolves around me” when i know it revolves around nobody.
I think they have to see a person in a petticoat dress for the first time, and a petticoat dress can make the spine and hips look wider. Correction Marilyn Monroe hasn't worn a petticoat dress in the film, but such tight dresses are seen in which she has a relatively wide body, and she had size 42 and that's oversized these days.

As a professional editor and published author, I can say with some authority that it isn't possible to tell if someone is trans or cis by their writing style. The company I work for doesn't let us interact directly with clients, so I don't even know what gender they are, and most of the time, I can't tell. I can pretty much always tell if English is their first language, and sometimes I can guess what their first language was, but honestly, writing reveals more about people's values than their gender or sex.
Recently had this conversation: Cis-Guy: "So when did you know you where trans?" Me: "I first felt it when I was 3 years old, though I couldn't know what it meant at the time." Cis-Guy: "No! It's impossible to think about your body or gender at that young age. You're getting it wrong!" ^ ^

@Dick Balls • 30 years ago dude, are you trolling? They mean some artists tend to draw women in positions that aren't physically possible for usually sexual purposes. Biggest example would be drawing a female character in a way that would simultaneously show all her behind and chest from the front, which is spine breaking and makes it seem as though the character has no internal organs, as they would get smooshed by this. Its not necessarily bad for it to occur a few times, exaggeration is fun. However it's become a bit of a harmful trend- with literally impossible beauty standards.

while i generally agree with your sentiment, i don't think tis quite that simple. Hatred, as a concept, isn't exclusively taught. You're correct that we aren't born hating, but as we develop, we decide things just as often as we learn them. What i mean by that is, you are not a product of your parents teaching. not in whole. Unless you literally never rebelled against your parents, and believe everything they do, you have come to your own conclusions about many things. Unfortunately, Hatred can come from the same place just as easily. a person doesn't have to have racist parents in order to become a racist themselves.
@@sillyking1991 Ah, but my original comment did not say anything about parents. I said "someone we trust" and that can mean a lot of different types of people. Friends, other family, teachers, celebrities on TV, police, politicians, pastors, internet blogs, the list goes on. And yes, hate as a concept is taught by some, maybe not by all though. We are taught to hate those we consider an enemy, or an opponent. We are taught to hate groups that don't conform to societal codes or traditions. We are taught to hate things that we don't understand. Mostly hate is more insidious than that though, a lot of hate gets disguised as fear or masquerades as liberty. Some hate pretends to be the will of God, it's all hate. I guess what I'm kinda saying is, Spread Love Not Hate.

@@Silkie_Dragon I mean, you could argue that cis men and cis women each have half a reproductive system, since you can't reproduce without both elements. That said, sex isn't just for reproduction. @@tysonfontanez Ikr what even is a male spine or female spine? Like how do you see the difference? I have so many questions to whoever wrote that.

@@FabbrizioPlays Oh, Honey. Bless you, you precious thing. It was a phrase first used in 1840 by an author by the name of Fredrika Bremer. Allowing for some creative license (I dropped the possessive "'s" off of "summer's"), it's older than G. (of the too many middle names) Martin.
Recently had this conversation:
Cis-Guy: "So when did you know you where trans?"
Me: "I first felt it when I was 3 years old, though I couldn't know what it meant at the time."

According to some artists, women don't have spines.
The first thing that came to my mind when I read this is:
“haha spine go bye bye”
simply bet or internal organs
@Dick Balls • 30 years ago dude, are you trolling? They mean some artists tend to draw women in positions that aren't physically possible for usually sexual purposes. Biggest example would be drawing a female character in a way that would simultaneously show all her behind and chest from the front, which is spine breaking and makes it seem as though the character has no internal organs, as they would get smooshed by this. Its not necessarily bad for it to occur a few times, exaggeration is fun. However it's become a bit of a harmful trend- with literally impossible beauty standards.

About that last post, being comfortable with who you are can also mean the process of _becoming_ someone you're comfortable being! 💜
It's so funny you were so caught up with Marilyn Monroe you kept having to think about her spine 😂
"transitioning is the process of becoming comfortable with your body, you don't change genders!"
Gosh that hit me hard, as someone who is having some gender confusion I needed this, I know how I want to transition but I don't really know my gender yet
maybe gender-fluid if it changes
maybe non-binary if it doesn't change but also doesn't feel like either gender
Obviously, transphobes don't know what "transitioning" means, either. It means changing from one thing to another.
@@darlalathan6143 I mean, it can just mean changing one thing to another, meaning changing your genitalia from one to another, not just changing your gender (since that doesnt really happen, you're always one gender, it just may take awhile for someone to realize).

@the color red I mean, if you're genderfluid, it isn't really changing gender, is it? Since you're gender is constantly shifting, not just changing?
Idk, I guess it makes more sense to say gender does change if you're gendefluid.
I suggest we call this “trans-plaining” like when a man explains a woman’s body to her, but gets the facts wrong. “Trans-plaining”.
We already call it cis-splaining, since it is cis gender people doing the half-assed, confused explaining to Trans folx about being Trans. :)
that makes it sound like the trans person is being rude tho, like the man in mansplaining
I've seen cis women do this more to trans women than men doing this to trans women....so trans-plaining should be more cis people trying to tell trans people who trans people work
Cisplaining sounds good tho
Trying to comment but I don't have a pelvis so I keep falling from the chair.
Hatred is learned. We are not born hating other people, someone we trust had to teach us to hate.
The good news? Love can be learned too.
while i generally agree with your sentiment, i don't think tis quite that simple.
@@sillyking1991
Ah, but my original comment did not say anything about parents.
