Then when the pizza guy showed up she insisted he come in for the strippers. The pizza guy also got to fight one of the strippers with those sockem bopper blow up boxing gloves. We had to tip the bouncer $100. (That's like 350 now with inflation)

Dave Chappelle is a comedic genius. He created this skit to reveal the hypocrisy and racial imbalance that occurred on the reality MTV show, The Real World at the time. The Real World usually had one or maybe two Black roommates. The other roommates were white and during each season; one if not both of the Black roommates were mistreated and ultimately kicked out.
Then mtv tried to "fix" it by having all the white women chasing the black dudes or having white dudes acting funny about it
They completely missed Dave's point and still pushed a racist trope smh

Ron I didn’t see and or understand the humor behind this sketch when I was in middle school and wondered why they were so mean to the innocent white guy. But as an adult now and experiencing how racist some white folks are, it’s actually funny to me to see the reverse happen. In a country where it’s gotten so bad that cops have to wear body cameras and you have all this systemic racism seeping through the cracks of every aspect of society from work to school to finances, it’s a literal mind fuck and it’s easily traceable back to the colonizing, genocidal and enslaving origins on which this country is founded upon.
