The problem with the second part of this is that sometimes when this happens in real life somebody ends up getting hurt or worse.. when I was growing up we were actually taught when it is appropriate to stand your ground and when it's appropriate to just pick your battles and walk off. Apparently in our current generation that lesson has been lost or ignored
