    These three videos are very helpful. Now I know what is involved and I can make an informed decision about whether or not to do it myself.

    What’s really interesting is the same blue car driving by in all three of these videos!

    Great video. My foster German shepherd just chewed a lower window sill on a picture window. Oh no! Now I see that I can fix this myself! After the German shepherd has been adopted, of course.

    Good videos but might have been an idea to put a tarp down on that wooden floor.

    Mine goes around the whole window area. Three windows. It’s a mess. What to do please.

      You could probably cut them at angles and connect . I hope you found a solution!

    Where did you buy the sill?

    • @DIYCollective
      @DIYCollective  Před 8 měsíci

      Home Depot online. I see it's not there anymore though . You may have to check with siltech directly

    What material is that?

    • @DIYCollective
      @DIYCollective  Před 5 měsíci

      It's a special composite material from a company called siltech that won't rot like wood

    Probably not a good idea to place old sill downwards with nail probably scratch floor.

      Omg I would kill my contractor if I saw him resting the sill directly on my floor like this! No cardboard? No ram board?No tarp?? Other than that- very helpful video!
