- Mayweather's defense was untouchable. In Muay Thai, his defense wouldn't work. But this man with a 91% win rate over 126 fights created his own style of untouchable defense. His name is Dany Bill, and this is his 6 pillars of being a legendary striker. How could a man this great not be recognized today? Let's change that now.

Haha.."no one enjoys being embarrassed/humiliated '.....
My VERY busy and in demand neighbor would challenge that statement. Hahaha She's a Dominatrix. I found out several months ago on accident. I thought maybe she was a drug dealer but was confused by the therapist advertising sign. Apparently it's covered by medical insurance !? Not sexual gratification centric. I didn't even know that was a thing. The zero sex aspect not BDSM. I was aware of the existence of that.
Hello, I have a video request. Could you do a technical breakdown of Peter ‘Sugarfoot’ Cunningham? He was the Sugar Ray Leonard of kickboxing back in the 80s and 90s. He trained my first coach Javier ‘El Gaucho’ Diez and was trained by my late boxing coach Stan Ward.
Like the video or else Danny Bill will sweep you upside down 😂
Floyd, obviously, was exceptionally good as a defensive fight; but he was NOT/is not "the best." That title belonged to Pernell Whitaker.
Whereas Floyd, LITERALLY, choreographed 100% of his fights --- who the judges were, what gloves his opponent must wear, what they must come down to or move up to, in exact pound, what time of the night/day he's fighting... and it's 100% in Vegas, and WHEN he's fight X, Y, or Z in time period (whether they had to reach a certain age, or could only be a certain age, when he fought them) ---- Pernell Whittaker fought mostly bigger and taller individuals than his 5'6" thin frame.
He didn't get to control money, opponent, judges, time of the fight or place of the fight. Or what kind of material on the gloves they must use. He simply made impossible moves when he's placed in front of another fighter, even if they're also elite fighters.
But a look at Floyd'd predecessor immediately tells an informed boxing fan Whitaker was truly a special defensive boxer.
In other words, Floyd also is a "genius" defensive boxer; but he 100% controlled all the corruption, bribery, staging, and choreography of the fights he engaged in, once he's big & rich enough as a name. Again, small Pernell had ZERO of those staging, choreography, and bribery advantages Floyd enjoyed and STILL made himself an unparalleled genius defensive boxer a decade or so before Floyd, if memory serves.
Floyd also spent unless amounts of money --- of which he has more than 99.9% of other athletes --- PROMOTING himself as the greatest of all time!
So, in most important ways, Pernell Whitaker was exactly like Dany Bill.... an athlete only true fans and experts of their respective arts could fully understand and appreciate...
Total relaxation while never losing balance or eye contact.
It's heartbreaking to see these legend fighters' names vanishing in the modern era and barely anyone knows them. But thanks to gems like you and other channels, we get to see and better appreciate the forgotten fighters
Thank you for the support
Oh.... yeah...I mean like f-cking Heartbreaking....my Heart man you know..... it's... it's f-cking broken.... just shattered... like, f-ck..... I don't even know what to say... just.....yeah, I'm just f-cking brokenhearted.....
Yes and it’s our job as fight fans to never let these legends not be heard of again dany bill is an all time great and I hope people start recognizing that
Even in France, nobody knows him... Nor his trainer André Zeitoun.
cant believe a man this great is not known today. great human being too
agreed
Kickboxers have always gone largely unrecognizeable. They've existed between the era of high level boxing and mixed martial arts popularity and marketing. Therefore, less eyes and less money coming in the sport.
@@justinhearst yes, so sad. this is someone who deserves all the recognition in the world though.
Muay thai is too niche. Especially in the golden era... You had to buy the VHS or go to Thailand to se the fights.
is my coatch in french i tranning with krongsak is butifull figther the best in french country fro me
Some of Dany Bill's losses were very suspect decisions, that of course went against the foreigner. His 91% win rate should have been higher. Legend!
Literally did a seminar with him yesterday. What an awesome wizard in the ring and overall dope guy outside of it too 🙏🙏🙏 such a down to earth guy & easy to talk to
Where did you do it bro?
❤❤

I went to a seminar of Dany Bill's at a local muay thai gym i go to in NJ. I can agree that he's one of the most of humble and technically sound guys in both kickboxing and muay thai. His teaching style is patient and proficient. Always willing to help out the next generation of fighters. If there's a Dany Bill seminar in your city or state or even country, please go. The knowledge and value is worth it.
Oh yes of course 👍👍👍
Thank you for introducing me to Dany Bill, those no windup sweeps were amazing.
Glad you like him!
I dont know if he is the Floyd Mayweather of Muay Thaî but one thing is sure : back then I was in France while he was bringing the ruckus in Thaîland. Dany Bill was well known and FULLY respected by everybody in the streets or martial arts/fight sports because what he has done and his style... it was never seen before. Real star status, a model as a fighter. Like u said in the video, his technique was second to none.
Everybody followed his blueprint back then.
You are right true legend in France
The sweeps and how he effortlessly conducted them, as well as his boxing skills all 6 skills sets were impressive
The timing on those sweeps and leg kickswas otherworldly.
Actually hadn’t heard of him before and about to go down the rabbit hole. Man is playing 4d chess in the ring and some of his techniques I’ve never seen done quite in that way before, the way he can adapt a strike at the last second to hit at a better angle is unreal
Danny did a seminar at my gym couple months ago. The stuff he was showing us was so technical, he also spoke about his friendship with Ramon dekkers
Danny and Ramon had great respect for each other. Like Danny Ramon was a very chilled eazy going dude. Legend forever from an era that's gone and never comes back!!
2:01 is one of the most impressive feats I’ve ever seen any human achieve. That parry looked straight out of Tekken. Almost doesn’t looks real cuz it’s so perfect
Thanks for giving him the light. Danny Bill is a legend among French Muay Thai fighters.
🔥🔥

I had the chance to attend a seminar by Dany Bill and he is a WEALTH of knowledge, a true great and legend in our sport of Muay Thai!
I love to see Danny Bill finally getting The respect and adoration he deserves
Damn this guy is an actual genius.. entertaining and inspiring
You guys should create videos about the difference between Muay Thai and dutch kickboxing and American kickboxing and sanda in the near future
would love to
That's a good idea 👍🏿
They told him to "go play soccer" and he took that personally.
haha, and became GOAT!

😭😭😭😭😭
The reason he’s unknown is, in 1990s there was no CZcams yet to see him. Buwakaw and Sanchen are famous because their time coincide with the advent of social media and it’s very easy to access watching the champions.
It’s always a treat recognizing a great fighter for the first time. Thank LK for this gem.
Finally new video out. Waiting for it😍
thanks a lot for watching!!
Man never even heard of this guy, amazing stuff!!! What a technical wizard.
🔥🔥
if you don't know now you know!
The more you see unpopular yet the most talented fighter in combat sports. The more you come to realize how promoter can hype a med level skill fighter to the point it shadows the real skilled one's .
Thank you for your time and effort making this documentary ❤
Thanks for introducing us to this Legend! Can’t believe I haven’t heard of him until now!
That "and vice-versa" in synchronization with the 1-2 was cold! I'm still waiting on that Muay Thai game the indie developer was going to come out with years ago. Ramon Dekkers actually did mocap for it, and I hope they have Dany Bill in it.
Excellent breakdown and a worthy tribute to the great Dany Bill. As a TKD practitioner and lover of all martial arts, especially boxing, BJJ, and Muay Thai you've earned my sub. Thanks for your dedication and keep up the great work on your channel!
Im so glad you are putting some spotlight on Dany Bill. He came by our gym to do a seminar and it was amazing. So many cut kicks.
Im ao glad you've finaly done a video on this man😊
Wow Mr uploader!! Another great Danny Bill!!!
Huge fan of your work, Lawrence ! I m french and had the chance to be trained by him. Thank you so much for him. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely great video❤
It's sad to see that the fighters who play the hype and marketing game are more well known around the world than actual fighting legends. Thank you for showing again yet another amazing fighter and human being who brought the sport to another level, and still tried to help others. I hope his actions and your video showcasing them will help the rest of us to do the same.
A 6-0 beginner UFC fighter is more famous than Muay thai legends AT THEIR PRIME, crazy world we are living in...😄
Well its because the UFC is in the U.S. mainly.
Thank you for posting. Danny is an inspiring fighter and person
Love your Videos.. Exactly What we Need
What a good video! Can you make one in the future about skarbosky?
Amazing story telling and learning about these unsung fighters is the best

Danny Bill, what a fantastic fighter you are. I have just found about you today 20/6/23. Wow! You are the greatest fighter of your time.

Nice to see some footage of Hassan Kassrioui as well. Very entertaining fighter in the 90's.

Thank you Lawrence!

Incredible that I hadn’t even heard the name before today. What a spectacular fighter! I’m a big fan of Lerdzilla and Saenchai, too. I love that flashy, elusive style.
Thanks for this.
Thank God we need more Dany videos to show the multiple ways to become a goat in striking arts.
Beautiful, thanks a lot!
I found out about Dany a few years ago, amazing fighter who more people should know about. Great Video.
Never heard of him. THANK YOU for this video 🍻
An awesome guy and fighter. great video
Amazing fighter and very underrated... Sweeps, defence, it's beautifull to watch him, way he baits oponnent and than just sweeps them, it must be frustrating as hell. Very talented.
Thanks for keeping kickboxing alive.
Why talk about Ramon Dekkers? because Danny's name should be mentioned in the same breath, he's that calibre.
What a relaxed form he has. His easy lean-back dodge + head wiggle reminds me of Lerdsila
He did a seminar at my Muay Thai gym just a few months ago. Amazing!
This brother is a legend that I am so grateful to learn about. excellent technique and timing
Great episode!!!Can you make an episode 'bout benny the jet urquidez?
Dany was one of my favorite French fighter ... when you trained at Jocky Gym ... it is what happen, a great technician like his camp mate Saenchai, Lerdsila, Kaoklai, Somrak
