Many Many thanx for this simple video. My PP was stagnant since 5 months . Clearly it was not dead but also not blooming . I just cut one node and propagated in water , saw small roots in a matter of 2 weeks and planted it in little soil. Not even one whole month and a new shoot has come out . TQ again .

I'm so happy I found you! I've been wondering how to cut mine back. But now that I watch this I almost think I'd cry. LOL

Thank you so much for this video ! I like to explore all types of rare plants and I had recently purchased a pink princess. I thought there was something wrong with her but You had just confirmed that her leaves are just a little burnt. Now I don’t need to chop her up and start over lol.

  • @DatsRocky

i suggest sealing the freshly cut ends with candle wax just so there’s no bacteria growing when you put it in water 😊 don’t wanna get the plant sick

  • @mamaj6028

I followed you quite well. Thanks for the detailed info, I keep meaning to look up wet sick , yet you explained it ! I have 2 pink princess so ill be doing this soon. Thank you ! ❤

Any update on the roots? How many can you plant in one pot?

  • @pennyroyal5424

Thanks for the detailed video! I am happy with my plant overall but the newer leaves were increasingly coming out in smaller size and weird brown/reddish hues. I just took a couple of small cuttings to propagate in water in case the mother plant deteriorates. Fingers crossed! Your pink princess looks beautiful!

Thank you for your tips🙂, i just propagated mine today, will it produce more pink? mine is just dark leaves😥

  • @theresapriebe9277

    Never heard of wet stick.

  • @2BTrue72

What happened to mother plant? Mine has no leaves is it still viable?

  • @gian7921

I had a little philodendron with rotten roots, I've cut them and put the plant direct in water. Now the plant seem to grow a nev leaf. In your opinion, is it possible to let the plant grow for ever in water? Thanks a lot.

  • @FranciscoRodriguez-my7ku

    Update video please!!!

  • @yolyrom7233

I wanted one at one time, but now, I no longer want one. They grow to stringy to me, plus they tend to revert back to green. I shouldn’t have to propagate to get fuller plant’s.
