A very knowlegeable and experienced rider that knows what he wants and doesnt succumb to a lot of overhyped and overpriced brandings out there. Thanks for featuring him. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
Pink, orange and yellow. The most striking colour way bike you have featured in the channel. Imagine a peloton of these on the roads. Once again, another great video.
Wait ‘til u see the upcoming bikes…
@@OompaLoompaCycling Looking forward bro. Keep up the good work !
I really wanna come ride in Singapore! Great video as always
One of the great knowledge rider from all interviews, thumbs up 😊
Elves is really big here in the Philippines, one of our UCI continental team si sponsored by them. Price are Php50, 000($1k) for vanyar and around 42,000 for falath ($840). The entry level avari is around 35,000 at $750
@Jerico Jimenez your point being? Of course it needs marketing to make it big, how did you think this name brands start out as? As Joe from China cycling put it, these are legitimate companies with legitimate research and development who are willing to put their name and risk their brand out there on the line. That in itself is testament to their trust on their products.
ELVES -
Pronounced correctly by host, 😅 corrected incorrectly by owner.. aiyaa
Cool colourway. Reminds me of those old technicolour t shirts in the 90s
Agree with Giyanami about the bike fitting. And it help us to be aware of the right riding position.
Nice color... glad to see more china brand coming out. Waiting for local brand Ascent - MIRAGE to be featured. 😀
Great sharing but boy oh boy this man has way too much YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYA (Sry you guys cant unhear it now XD)

Nice colour scheme! Would prefer steel over titanium for comfort though! Ride safe👍🏻
i have elves road bike and it's really comfortable to ride (with the right size) next to my tcr...awesome content.cheers
Which tcr model and year did u have?
also how does it compare in terms of stiffness to power transfer from your legs to the bike? cuz usually comfort and stiffness, its one or the other and to find balance between the two
Which Elves frame do you have and which size? What is you height? I am asking because I want to buy one byt this sizing is complicated for me, I want some references.
i hopo this channels grows more so that youll be able to come here in Milan :) cheers bro ciaoooo
Like this advice on first know what type of cycling/rider you are. Then consider what type of bike accommodates that type.
I have 2 friends who have screwed their backs from cycling due to their cycling preferences and bike choices.
One messed up his back from using an aggressive racing bike for long distance rides. The other was a ranked retired pro that over used his body from long term aggressive riding positions.
Don't copy pros, they don't show what normal riding for recreational riders are supposed to be.
BTW. He mentioned that a titanium frame is the best for long rides. Hope to see one on this channel soon *wink wink*
I'm Building my second bike eleves the same aero frameset disk version. Elves is big here in the Philippines. I just love the looks and aero geometry. not like my old TCR very simple but deadly in the mountains
Stack and reach is the most important numbers to search for a bike frame. Bike fit before buying helps. Not all frame geometries are the same.
Stack and reach only tell you about the front end, seat post angle is another consideration for your centre of mass. Head tube length is a good gauge of how low the front end is too.
@@patrickparisienne1917 A taller stack usually is a taller head tube. Giant Defy is an example.
@@lordalfa600 correct, but not always. Also seat tube length is a consideration, as this can affect standover height…
Please allow me to ask 1 question. After your actual use for a long time, do you think it is an aero frame or a climbing frame or ....?
Where can I buy this frame in a disc version ?
been eyeing elves for quite sometimes actually.. but now I'm getting more confused which one to choose since Jeremy said Falath is more aero, yet Vanyar is stiffer and can be more aggresive in terms of head tube..
Snow white hangs out with dwarves not elves..... Elves normally helps Santa 🎅 during Xmas. Ho ho ho
Another Factor Ostro lookalike.😁
Joe Whittingham (China Cycling) introduced Elves to the world three years ago. It was the Elves Vanyar.
Don't play the history card
@@nanthiny8634 and this is a political channel?
Very nice bike, with a very articulate owner!
As for bike fit, I strongly advocate it. As a fellow tinkerer, there are simply things that you can’t assess yourself beyond saddle height, reach, bar width etc.
A GOOD fitter will analyse your physiology off the bike prior to pedalling. Leg length difference, hip impingement, spine flexion, foot structure, and especially cleat and shoe setup is all done.
Mine changed my seat height, setback, stance width ( Q factor) and hood position.
Asked about crank length, but he was happy. All up took 3 hours. Wasn’t cheap, but worth it!
Too late for me. My spine is curved like a prawn.
@@OompaLoompaCycling Ha ha yeah actually stretches and foam rolling exercises that you can do to correct spine curvature check out the road cycling Academy for RCA where Neil Stanbury explains how to use foam roller to correct back curvature.
@@patrickparisienne1917 yes i've watched those videos before... fellow SEKA rider
Use less energy to prop your body up. User all the energy to the legs. Proper fit ensures and easier use of core muscles. Essential for climbing and TT.
'wheelsets flex in the crosswind' - feedback might mislead potential buyers and unfair to Winspace. I think he should have used 'twitch' rather 'flex'.
Anyone with half a brain would derive his intent.
Your bike frame color so awesome 😊..can I copy that color for my future elves falath pro?
my god, thats some serious rainbow on wheels. Hope u find a pot of gold at the end of your every ride. 80s taste is dope as fcuk btw.
I wish he would discuss How compliant the frame such as flex, Frame stiffness. I guess more performance issues about this bike frame rather than pretty colours in the name.....
"Should I go for the Winspace
Frameset or the Elves Falath 2022 model?" both very similar geometry
What did you ended up doing ?
I have 2. Great value.
Cool frameset. May I know Fd hanger using rivet or bolt?
Bolt? I haven’t seen any frameset using rivets besides my ikea bed
Kopi Riders da best!
ey. The other mask was better. hehe. This one looks like the phantom of the opera...the facial expression makes you look bored while interviewing. Nonetheless, very cool videos...keep em coming!
Just trying out new masks haha. You are right that the expression makes me bored. I’ll change back to the other one!
Says he doesnt like the branding/wants it clean but has 3 back lights and a pump... and doesn't use an out front mount...
Where can we contact the distributer for this bike?
Maybe u can DM Yong Kang on IG
@@OompaLoompaCycling yep found their carousell acc. Thanks!
The owner say 7.5kg but the scale shows 8.2kg? So which is correct? A bit confused
7.5 is the dry weight. 8.2 is probably with all the junk on the bike. check the vid's description which has all the specs listed by the owner.

yep lmma buy a custom painted falath next week. sadly you don't have a promo code
Sad
‘elves’ as single syllable, not two. nonetheless, good looking frame.
“I want it to be clean. I’m a very clean OCD person” @13:47
- says the guy with orange + yellow + pink bike, navy +pink helmet, blue + white + orange shoes and black socks! 🤪
#YaYaYa
But his advice on bike fit is superb.
I am thinking change my bike frame to Elves Eglath not sure if its a good choice.
Weird fork
And what, have you bought Eglath?
Tell us more about that white mask coz I'm so distracted by it 😆
costs $1 from AliExpress 🤣
Hi there ..Thanks once again for sharing Oompa. I'm 1.73cm.
Q: Which Size should I get? Will be help on the site for you to get the right size for the buyer?
You’re almost the same height as the rider being interviewed. Probably a L size. Don’t take my word, but do check out ELVES’s sizing chart.
@@OompaLoompaCycling I thought I said he is 1.76cm?! Thanks man I'm already on it..(Elves site) lol

Are we going to get a review of the elevs vanyar?
Maybe next time since he has one and if he’s willing to come and do this again
A nice bike with 2 tones, very sexy
The colors are he only thing I don't like... good luck. I have the 65mm... awesome.
ayoo elved falathhh
Will u get one?
@@OompaLoompaCycling nah planning on getting pardus spark evo
@@thedahe11 pardus is naisee !!!
Which is better: Elves Vanyar vs Winspace SLC 2.0?
The Vanyar is slightly lighter and more affordable at 928g 2XL and $1400++ respectively.
I like the One Piece Mold tech. Not sure if it's better or not but I find it more assuring to know that my frame is not pieced together. It's also UCI approved if you're into that sort of thang.
I love Winspace and it is obviously the bigger brand.
P.S it's pronounced Elves like LOTR Elves. The product lines are paying homage to the series lol.
The brake pads on the front are orientated incorrectly
Hmm...who is Snow white? Jeremy... aiyo... your girlfriend lah... definitely not me.....lol
Hope my Elves Eglath will be on this channel soon!
Am I filming your bike? 🧐 if not DM me on IG and let’s film!!
How the Eglath ride? Planning get one , but rate same as Yoeleo R12
@@lestonycyclistone Rides great! Comfortable geometry and very compliant. Quality build is also very good for a chinese brand!
@@benhiamovi Comfortable geometry... But is this still "sport" bike or rather recreational? Which size have you chosen and how tall are you?
@@MarianBobolny it's rather sporty still as its an endurance aero bike. If you're in SG you're welcome to swing by my place to have a look. Im 179 and riding a Size 50
Put Elvis word better 🤣
Elves... not El ves. Elves are imaginary beings in English. Falath is a kind of levee.
why is the interviewer wearing a mask?
