Great interview. Nice humble guy. SL7 has always been known to be a great bike. The SL7 is known for winning races, from world tour to professional crit (legion LA) ... but the SL8 is associated with slow cafe riders

I just don't understand this recent trend toward loud free hubs. When I raced we freshly oiled our free hubs to make as little noise as possible so if you got a chance to catch a draft, they couldn't hear you back there getting a free ride in the group. Why make that noisy???/🤷🏼‍♂️
