Shabir ally here gets some things confused about the biblical account of sarah and hagar. To sum it up, Hagar is shown to be a woman of great faith and God hears her and blesses her and ishmael. Sarah is shown as a beautiful woman but kinda seems to lack some faith in God's promise to her and Abraham (genesis 12:2-3), before the birth of Isaac ,because of her old age and sarah also seems to mistreat hagar in one instance and also did not like Ishmael because Ishmael mocked isaac and didnt believe him to be the promised seed to Abraham. But the bible reads that When sarah told Abraham to send hagar and ishmael away and let hagar and ishmael to wander the desert around beersheba, that God approved of this, as it was all in His plans. I strongly suggest reading both islamic and.biblical account of the stories to compare and contrast the similarities and differences and what we can learn from them. Here are the chapters on the biblical accounts: Genesis chapters 12, 16, 17, 18:1-15, 21, and 22. Its a beautiful story and one worth reading and contemplating on. Peace and God bless to everyone!

I would also love to see the differences of the Holy Bible and the Holy Qur'an. This is interesting :)

@@dayamonsirad8211 Many Muslims have never read the Bible because they think the Qur’an has replaced it. The Qur’an, however, never claims to annul the Bible. The Qur’an praises the Bible as God’s guiding truth (Surah 5:46; 3:3; 10:94-95).
Some Muslims say that just as the Gospel (Injeel) abrogated the law (Tauret), the Qur’an replaces the Gospel. However, the Gospel did not abrogate the law. The perfect Jesus came, not to abolish the law, but to fulfill the law.
Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished” (Matthew 5:17-18).
Jesus showed that God’s law is even harder to keep than men think. “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. . . . You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:21-22, 27-28).
Have you met that perfect standard? The Bible says none of us can keep the law’s demands. We deserve death (Romans 3:23; 6:23). Thankfully, Jesus faultlessly kept the law of God. As the perfect sacrifice, Jesus paid the penalty for sin by dying on the cross. Find out how Jesus’ death gives life to believing sinners.
Trust God’s Word, the Bible, which can never be replaced. “The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever” (Psalm 119:160).

The Bible speaks of the Arab people very highly with love and understanding. God sees and hears the abuse from the Jewish woman Sarah and he cares.

You do realize that we do believe in the bible and that it was indeed sent down to the israelites & the christians. The problem here is that in the new testament it was written by his apostles. The Quran was revealed onto the prophet, memorized in the hearts of his companions and written in the books. Abu Bakr his closest friend and one of the great Caliphates gathered the pages and made sure it was not gathered just on paper but was recited by two other muslims. The bible unfortunately was messed around with to please those in power. We believe that some events its holds are true and we're not going to deny like the story of Abraham.

@@MrNarutoSick how about some part of the Qur'an eaten by goat???is that true goat swallowed up part of the Qur'an that was hidden under the pillow???why does Allah hate women so much and teach the Muslims to treat women like a dog???

rilo ariicho ariicho I don’t know what Islam you know. But search youtube videos about Muslim Women and they will tell you how amazing Islam views women. Actually most Women convert to Islam because of it’s value of Woman.
Aisha the wife’s prophet was very important in knowing the prophet himself. Hagar is honored in our tradition. Mariam and Jesus are loved by all Muslims. Khadijah before she passed away was an extremely successful business women and she got married to the prophet because of his character and love and awakening.
As for the Goat, he was replaced by Ismael yes. It was a test from god. The goat didn’t eat the Quran that’s not in out religion at all. But because Ibrahim saw in a dream that he was sacrificing his son, he knew that this was a god given dream and before he could do so in real life God sent down a goat to be sacrificed instead of Ismael. It was just a way to show Abrahams commitment to god. Because that’s what we are the creators of god. And so we hve to oblige by his message.
Sorry for the long message 😅

Sarah was a resentful abuser, Abraham a weak character, the only strong and honest person of the story was Hagar.

There are many possible interpretations - in the Bible at any rate. Sarah might have abused Hagar; she might have been justifiably complaining of disrespect. Hagar might have been a helpless victim (unlike, apparently, in the Hadith), or she might have reneged on a fairly common arrangement for providing a child for a barren woman. There's also an interpretation that says that Hagar was proud and resentful about her and her son's position in life - that's the son she bore for Sarah, who was displaced when Sarah had her own son - but later was redeemed by God as shown by the visit of the angel in the desert. Abraham does come off a bit like a frazzled husband who doesn't quite know what to do, but many of the people in the Old Testament were flawed human beings, like all humans are flawed, but they became great anyway.

Hagar definitely was the light of the story that doesn’t mean that Abraham wasn’t a man of God he made mistakes just as any human did.
